Frustrated

"Who's that?" Li Jun nudged his chin towards a direction before he grabbed the saplings and another big plastic bag from Fu Mingxia's hand although she tried to refused his kindness.

"Just some children whose interested in gardening," she snatched some smaller shopping bags from his fully occupied left hand, much to his amusement.

"I won't charged you with service fee or make you owe me a favour, you know?" Li Jun quipped and tried to grabbed the bags again but Fu Mingxia just rolled her eyes at him and ambled along the pathway while occasionally looking around the nearby stalls for some things she might be interested in.

"Tsk.. Such a stubborn creature," he remarked playfully, loud enough for her to hear as he trailed after her.

Fu Mingxia turned to look at him and made an annoyed face before she suddenly stuck out her tongue at him, "Suck it up, old geezer."

Surprised, yet Li Jun did not felt offended with her remark as he ended up in a fit of laughters. His deep laugh attracted others around them as people watched he jokingly flicked her forehead, "Who did you called old?"

"The one whom answer," she glared at him as she caressing her forehead.

"Ooopppsss.. Did I overdid it?" He asked with concern, yet Fu Mingxia could perceived ripples of mischievousness in his eyes.

"I don't know you've this side of immaturity in you, Mr Li. Not to mention, you're already advanced in age," she muttered softly with mockery.

"Hey, I'm still young and vibrant."

"Sure. If it'll make you sleep well at night," she rebuked and walked towards an exit.

Li Jun chuckled and followed after her, "Are you done?"

"Yes. But if you want to stay and sleep here, you're more than welcome."

Another bout of deep laughters escaped his mouth before Li Jun amusedly shook his head, as they made their ways towards their car.

"Uncle. Uncle," Bai Chen called Hao Shen, yet the man just zoning at a direction with unfathomable expression on his face. In the end, he gathered his courage and gently pulled his sleeve, jolted Hao Shen from his reverie.

He rigidly turned to look at the young boy, "Are you done?"

"Yes," he timidly spoke and waved his sister over. "Faster, we're already late."

Hao Shen's brows knitted when he saw two chrysanthemum saplings and a small bag of organic fertiliser in their hands. "You want these? Let me pay first."

"They're already paid by a kind woman," Bai Chen stated and showed him the receipt.

"Yes, yes.. That aunt is so so so pretty and generous. She gave this flower to us and explained many things regarding it," Chen Nuan mentioned and continued to excitedly explained all the things that she had learned just a few moments ago, oblivious of Hao Shen lack of attention as his mind is currently preoccupied with the intimate interactions of Fu Mingxia and the man.

"He seemed familiar. I had seen him somewhere but when? Where?" He unconsciously mumbled his thoughts.

"Uncle? Uncle?" Bai Chen called out again, obviously bewildered by his actions.

"Ah. Let's get going then," Hao Shen impassively uttered and marched towards the exit as the kids struggle to follow with his long strides.

Outside, he frantically looked around the parking lots, trying to catch on their silhouettes or more precisely, Fu Mingxia's back but could not pinpointed even her shadow. Unknowingly, a heavy sigh escaped his mouth as his heart clenched painfully.

"The car is in that direction," Bai Chen innocently pointed at a direction where Hao Shen had parked his car before, assuming he had forgotten about it.

"Ah. Yes. Yes. Come on, then," Hao Shen schooled his expression and composed himself. 'Get a hold of yourself.'

He just maneuvers his car and stopped on the straight exit lane when he caught her in a car on the left exit. The traffic light changed to green and the vehicles started to move forward.

Who knows what came into his mind when he impulsively swerved his car towards the left, intercepted in other's queue and earning himself several blaring of horns from the furious drivers. He ignored it as he stretched his neck forward, seeking the whereabout of her car.

Discreetly, he tailed them with full concentration without minding the chattering of the kids in the backseat until the car stopped in front of the six star hotel, The Paradise. He watched the valet opened her door and helped her out the car while the man alighted too before he passed some tips to the valet and together, they walked into the hotel arm in arm.

Subconsciously, his grip on the steering wheel tightened as his jaws clenched hard in anger when his mind imagined every possible intimate situation they had been and will be.

Compared to his wild imagination, the situation between Li Jun and Fu Mingxia was far from it. They only walked arm in arm because her knees felt sore after walking for quite a long distance before, thus he offered to help her walk.

As for why they are in the hotel, it was precisely because she had booked for the men to staying in the hotel and Zarco had demanded her to came there so they could have dinner and spent more time together as the three of them will fly back tomorrow.

"Bring me some smart casual attires and come to The Paradise this instant. Get here by a taxi. Faster, otherwise you can have your last paycheck today," Hao Shen fired the instruction to his assistant the moment he picked up his call and the poor man was left flabbergasted when the call was abruptly cut before he could say a word.

Remembering his boss' word, Assistant Zhou quickly scrambled off the bed and quickly put on his brief and clothes in a lightning speed, leaving his frustrated girlfriend on the bed, naked alone.

He rushed to comb his hair to make his appearance looked more neat before he grabbed his wallet and phone on the side table.

"I'll be back sooner," he pecked his girlfriend's lips and dashed out the bedroom as if he was chased by a ghost.

Just as he put on his shoes, he could hear his girlfriend screaming and cursing him and his boss and helplessly, he looked upstairs and mumbled a sorry to her before he disappeared out the front door.
