Confrontation

Isabel spent the next few days at her parents' house, feeling uncomfortable and on edge around them.

She couldn't believe that they had tried to drug her and were now acting like nothing had happened. She knew that she couldn't just let it go and had to confront them about their actions.

One afternoon, Isabel sat down with her parents in their living room and calmly confronted them about what had happened. Her parents initially denied any wrongdoing, but Isabel was persistent.

Isabel was incredulous. She couldn't believe that her parents had gone to such lengths because they were worried about her.

Isabel's parents were visibly shaken by her words. Her mother started crying, saying that she was sorry and that she had just wanted to protect her daughter. Isabel listened but didn't say anything for a few moments.

After a few minutes of silence, Isabel spoke up. She told her parents that she loved them but that she needed some space to think about their relationship and what had happened. She said that she would be staying at a hotel for the remainder of her visit, and that she would contact them when she was ready to talk again.

Isabel's parents were clearly upset by her decision, but she knew it was the right thing to do. She needed time to heal and process what had happened, and being around them was only making it more difficult.

As she packed her things and left her parents' house, Isabel felt a mix of emotions.
