Unborn contract

Christian is panting on the side of the road, he tried to run as fast as possible to get away and he looks back checking around to make sure he is far enough.

He starts to walk becoming fatigued from such a long sprint, he uses the railing as guiders, "Lenia..."

Everything inside of him felt like a mesh of Christian eating at his heart while his vampiric duties almost all disappeared in a fortnight.

A car pulls up beside Christian, he reacts by jumping further ahead of himself.

"I am not coming back!" Christian yells moving his arms and legs in a way to only propel forward, a tug on his jacket only feels him with dread.

"It's me you meathead!"

"D-d-doctor...Silas..." He spouts exhaustively, he opens the passager door smiling.

"Get in, police have already been called, it's a good thing I caught the report..."

"They called already?"

"They think you are mentally ill Devil."

"M-mentally ill?" Christian responds apprehensively, he gets in the car without hesitation, he buckles up all the while Doctor Silas revs the engine.

"We need to get to the house of datura fast Devil, hold tight."

Doctor Silas ignores the red lights running through them, he would swerve on turns where needed, he was optimistic and cocky beyond anyone he ever met.

He rams the car on the edge of the sidewalk allowing Christian to get out at the bottom whereas Doctor Silas who gets out practically bowls him over to the door.

Chanting with his fingers pointing at the door like an impromptu gun, he blows the doorknob off its hinges; the door squeaks open.

"Get in now! Go right and keep going till you are in the rift Devil!"

"What are you going to do?"

"Never mind me, go get your master!"

Maids catch sight of Christian, Doctor Silas lets his chants become louder and louder intimidating the maids, "Intruder alert! Intruder alert!" The maids yell.

He swiftly dodges their attempts to use the swipes of their long nails, their fangs aiming to bite the fresh blood supply pumping through his body.

They carry large-headed spears, but Doctor Silas is easily able to blow them into pieces with his magick-based finger gun, he laughs out loud in excitement.

"Go! Stop stalling Devil!" Doctor Silas exclaims shouting, a door opens to find Steel waving at him, he hastily races over.

"Edwin got Alex...you got to save him!" Steel states gently kissing the top of his hand, he reddens unsure why his hand is tingling.

"Steel..."

"If you go missing we can find you."

Christian waves sprinting toward the room he saw exactly as he saw in his dream, Joseph and Hala simply let him pass, his heart starts to sink.

"Here I thought you wouldn't make it..." Edwin whispers in his ear, he turns to his side to see where he was, he vanishes out of nowhere.

His attention is brought to the stage where Alice is holding her sword firmly over Alex aiming straight at his heart, "Christian!" Alex wails.

"Not so fast Devil..." Joseph counters.

"Did you really think it would be this easy?" Hala questions.

"So then...tell me why you let me in so easily?"

Instantly Christian catches Edwin on the raised platform, he firmly presses his hand against Alice's back pushing his face down letting it slip to the ground.

"Oops..." Edwin says bending down to swiftly pick it up swinging it around.

"T-that's masters and you know it!"

Acknowledging that Joesph and Hala will go after him if he moves, he watches as he toggles the sword around, "And soon it is mine...Mr. Devil."

"But that also means Alex is no longer your master!" Joseph states with a glimmer in his eye, Christian becomes apprehensive.

"But Joseph, it can be only broken by Alice..."

Hearing the words linger from their mouths, he decidedly removes the eye patch.

Reaching for his eye he trembles, inching even slightly he could feel every ounce of him unready for what was to come.

"Do you not know who I am you take me so lightly?"

"I doubt it, you literally become too soft...what was your name?" Hala screeches in amusement in the light of how his name was broadcasted.

"Christian Andreas was it?" Joesph says berating his name, Christian becomes incensed with his treatment drawing his leg up whipping it around smashing Joseph into the hard floor.

"Unbraid some more!" Christian replies enraged, his eyes both glowing in spite of the situation; Edwin stands there in shock.

Dragging the sword against the floor he places it he pushes it back into Alice's arms, her fingers curled around Alex's arched back.

Christian's whole body has become completely tensed up taking a stance, Joseph lays writhing with pain; the intrusion has Edwin on edge.

Growling under his breath he moves step by step, Hala creeps away only smiling.

Alex's hands slip to his side gazing into Christians' eyes muttering something he could not understand, Alex squeezes his eyes shut caressing her hand guiding her arm.

Christin vaults for the stage, "Ruka!"Hala cries out, the entity lashes out binding his legs causing him to crash to the hard floor; he holds his hands out struggling to free his legs.

Alex arches back screaming, Alice's contract could be felt breaking into the endless abyss in pieces reversing re-assembling itself whole manifesting in front of Alice's eyes, "It is done..." Alice whispers peering into her childish reflection frowning.

She hands the sword to Edwin who steps into the mirror accepting Alice's vision.

Alex collapses the ground, his eyes half-open as fractals of colors before he closes them letting out a deep sigh, "ALEX!" Christian howls out sorrowfully.

Hala releases Ruka's grip on Christian to fly up to the stage, he lifts his eyelids checking his pulse noticing his tears flowing from the side of his wet between his fingers, "Alex..."

Christian gently picks Alex up, Edwin nudges him with the blade, "Devil..."

"We are done here!" Christian exclaims. "You got what you wanted."

"You have forgotten Devil, you are in the contract!"

Edwin's eyes radiate with a newborn power, making a fist; he falls to his knees feeling as though an invisible leash was pulling reigns on his neck choking him.

Christian brings his hands up to the invisible thread realizing there was nothing to latch to allowing Alex to tumble back to the stage, "Do you understand now?"

He gags trying his speak to speak only gurgling up his saliva, Christian starts to tug backward until he is able to break free from the invisible string.

"Impossible...you are able to retract my bond?" Edwin barks irrationally offended.

He smirks back, "Alex is my master, you are a spoiled brat!"

"Whatever I don't even need you anyways!" Edwin replies, Joseph and Hala gather beside Alice; he snaps his fingers and with that, they are all gone.

Christian stumbles to his feet heeding the first sight of blood oozing under his shoes, he quickly collects Alex, "Don't you dare die...Alex..."

"Hold on...please..."
