The trap

Trinity, Alex, and Christian stand behind Quinn who has been chanting almost five minutes before it activates, "Remember, she knows we're coming..."

"Master Alex needs to step behind us last..." Christian states, Alex looks down.

Trinity laughs at his pouting, "It's nothing against you, he doesn't want to lose you again."

Alex snatches at Trinity's dress, "You shouldn't go, Lady Trinity..."

"We can't let fate linger any longer Alex, it will be okay."

"For once you didn't call me master..."

"Would you like me to only call you Alex from this point out?" Trinity asks, he nods hugging her tightly, she embraces him back.

"Can I call you just Trinity?"Alex asks, Quinn tugs on Alex's pants, he smiles taking her hand in return.

"Are you okay Quinn?"

"We need to enter before it goes away Alex...please!" Quinn begs, they listen all shoveling in, Quinn closing the portal.

Christian comes forward first to see Avic, her fingers calling for Quinn; she looks up at Alex momentarily before running back into Avic's arms, "Welcome back Darling."

"I didn't harm Quinn...please give us back my kindred!" Alex begs, Avic picks Quinn up to smell Alex's blood on her person.

Avic strolls over to Alex's backhand so he hard he flips across the floor, she picks him up by the collar, "How dare you think you can be kind to my kin!"

"Master Alex!" Christian says leaping across the floor fast as he could to swipe Alex from Avic's hand, he sticks his palm out at her face.

"I thought he would be kind enough to share with me since he did with Quinn."

"Don't you dare touch him you filthy demon!" Christian argues.

"Oh, in that case..." Avic watches as the blood saturates the dressing, she makes a fist; blood oozes from the wound down his clothes; Alex has almost no time to react to his bodily fluids leaving his body.

A puddle starts to form down at his feet, collapsing limply in Christian's arms, Avic begins to laugh; Christian unravels the bandages to show a huge black bruise surrounding the bite.

"Do you truly think you can stand against my power the three of you?"

Trinity pulls out her sword of the raven aiming it at Avic, "Master Alex! Snap out of it please! Master Alex!" Christian shouts shaking him as he loses blood.

Quinn hides behind Avic, Christian reaches into the pouch to retrieve one of his last vial opening his mouth feeding him gradually, "That will go to waste you know."

"Prepare yourself Avic!" Trinity yells, Avic backs away; Alice appears of out nowhere slicing through the air itself carving into Trinity's clothing.

"Hey old woman, time to turn in already!" Alice howls, swinging her sword at Trinity who masterfully blocks the attack with her sword. Trinity swiftly jumps away before another attempt.

"Alice...why are you allowing yourself to be taken like this?" Trinity questions with sympathy, she only becomes more enraged slamming the sword into Trinity's harder clanging, the metal screeches crying out as it moves further along the blade.

"Trinity, please watch Master Alex...I am going after Avic!" Christian explains lying Alex down dashing after Avic, the only Trinity can do is nod.

He takes off leaving Trinity to fend herself off, "You have always been a coward!"Alice wails kicking her away pushing the blade to her side, Trinity falls to the ground gazing up at her misshapen features.

Her lips only curling upwards, her hatred is all she can feel; Alice's soft gentleness seemed to have melted away, "You don't have much time left in you if I recall..."

Spotting Alex bobbing his head side to side attracts Alice, Trinity uses all her might to get in front of Alex, "You can't he is injured, Alice!"

"I just want to kill him and feed him to my master!"

"Avic isn't your master Alice! You need to think for once!" Trinity pleads, their swords scrape fiercely, Trinity pulls away dragging the blade down at Alice.

Alice catches tight to Trinity's edge thrusting her away making a sprint to pick Alex up, his body becomes flabby to touch, "If you dare move I will kill him!"

Trinity drops her sword to the ground, "Alice...he is your master..."

"Non-sense! Look at him!" Alice shouts slapping him in the face several times till his cheeks are scratched by her fingernails.

Alex's eyes slightly open, "Alice..." He says weakly, "I am so glad you are safe..."

"Is Alex still alive Trinity?..." Quinn questions emerging from the darker side of the room, Alice is surprised Quinn asked Trinity.

"Are you a traitor now?!" Alice demands to know, "I will tell Mistress Avic you know!"

"Can it underling!" Quinn quarrels, "Is he alive or not?"

Alice by nature feels his head before listening to his heart in case, "Alive..."

"I am sorry it took me this long Trinity...I was too afraid to tell you..." Quinn responds pulling out a set of pills handing them to Alice.

"There is no way he can chew these!" Alice replies, Quinn smiles hinting something.

"You are going to feed him..." Quinn answers, "Get to it lackey."

"Why not just give it to me Quinn?" Trinity asks, Quinn twists to look at Trinity holding her finger to her mouth quietly.

Alice lets it drop from fingers stomping it with her heels in anger, taking her sword she slams it against Quinn's throat, "I am not falling for this trap!"

"What about it is a trap?"

"You want me to kiss this ugly dwarf, the other question is why you want me too!"

A web is slung out taking the medication from Quinn's hands, "I knew it!"

"Quell?" Quinn replies aghast, "He needs help now you know that!"

"Then let him die! We don't help Vampires!"
