Christian hobbled back to his little house on the hill, his head throbbing with pain walking up the hill; the first thing he spots is a house covered in police tape.
Hunched over strolling across to the other side his headache starts to feel intensified like pin and needles being inserted into the back of his head, his eyes growing sensitive to the light of the streetlights, he spots someone in the distance staring at him.
The stranger calls someone over, Christian shuffles over holding his other eye.
He sticks his hand out ready to utilize the Devil Assassin's ability, "Christian...is that you?" The built figure asks, his voice breaks, Christian has nothing to say confused why the face is so familiar.
Christians' hands drop to his side, a shadow of faces he can not match sit high in his mind; memories of happy times, but no clue as to why he was so happy.
"Who are you?" Christian questions utterly hopelessly disoriented, twisted recollections of the man in front of him fog his mind.
"Your Dad, do you not remember me?" He busts out in sobs, Christian can not return the feelings, nothingness stands in his heart, he is expressionless.
"No...you feel recognizable, but I couldn't tell you I knew you..."
Christian Dad pulls him in for a hug, he is unable to answer his father's affection; the smell of his veins entices him, but he is much too drained to attempt, "What happened to you Christian? Christian?"
He had been captive so long he can barely recall what brought him here.
"Blood..." Christian murmurs, his stomach aches sliding down to his knees falling to the side; he wobbles titling over plummeting to the hard cement.
"Christian! Christian, what's wrong with you?" His father wails, Christians' eyes partially open before closing again, he pulls his cell phone out.
"Yes, I need an ambulance right away! My son needs help!"
Hours later Christian is admitted to the local hospital where he is bombarded with reporters despite still being not being awake yet, his story has been stated as nothing above miraculous.
Christian's mother and father sit by his side as he is propped up in the hospital bed hooked up to a saline drip, the doctor comes in.
"Can you please wait outside so I can examine him please?"
They do as they're told, the doctor leans over reclining his body against Christian putting his arm around his shoulder placing pressure around his neck.
The smell of his blood rouses Christian to wake, He about snaps his teeth into the doctor's flesh to be stopped by his slap, "You come home a vampire I see..."
"Excuse me you baiter?" Christian spouts angrily, "Wait where am I?"
His gaze is met by this man this doctor, "We meet again Christian."
"Oh god...I am in a real hospital. How did I get here?"
"Your parents are outside the door."
He holds tight to his head, "This can't be happening, what do I do?"
"Leave it to me...I will get back to you soon okay?"
"Why are you being so nice to me if you know what I am?"
"Because vampires aren't supposed to be in human hospitals, the other problem you were put in the lost people's list hence now you are being clarified as found..."
"You can't let them see me!" Christian says becoming afraid holding his hand to his mouth hiding his fangs, he is handed an eye patch.
"My name is Doctor Silas, good thing they didn't see your eye..."
Christian pulls the IV out of his arm jumping out of the bed, Doctor Silas stops him from going any further, "You are in a hospital gown, you idiot."
He looks away turning red, gazing around the room for his clothes, Doctor Silas taps his shoulder, "What do I do...I am not ready for this..."
"Spend time with your parents...we will talk later okay?"
He is horrified of seeing his parents again, his consciousness has been slipping in and out the last couple of days between aware and remembering and sleeping awakeness not receptive to his surroundings; he can not even begin to describe.
Doctor Silas shoos him back to the bed, Christian lays back down as he opens the door welcoming them back inside giving a warm smile.
They run over to the bed hugging him and crying; he gives a miserable look to Doctor Silas who is slowly ambling out of the door.
His mother pats his hand gently, "You will come live with us till you are back on your feet again okay Christian Darling!"
"Is something wrong with your eye?" His father states trying to lift it to see the damage, Christian holds tight to patch only laughing out.
"I just can't see right now!" Christian replies apprehensive, he laughed till he cried into his hands. His parents could only feel deeply disturbed about their son.
"It will be okay...we have a lot to catch up right Christian?" His mother declares as a nurse comes in his meal, the smell wafted around the room causing him to feel nausea.
His parents help him get comfortable to eat pulling the tray over setting his utensils in front of his food, Christian pushes them away.
"You can have it...I am not hungry." Christian expresses depressingly.
"Sounds like you need rest is all, you will be hungry later..." His mother says concerned, the father swings his keys on his fingers.
"Yeah...that's it..."
"We will be back later, just get more rest. We will bring you a change of clothes to leave with." His father responds at the door, they both leave.
Christian turns to his side closing his eyes, "Goodbye..."
