Power of Recall

Running footsteps are approaching from a town full of flames, people are rushing to save their lives. Houses are burning and falling debris are everywhere.

"Hide Lily! Hide!" A man in 40's grabs 6 years old Lily's hand to hide her in a barrel.

Lily saw how her father protects her and her mother. When it comes to picking Lily up in her school, helping her mother in harvesting vegetables, and supporting Lily in her dancing.

__2 Months ago__

Village of Qan, a busy village full of kindhearted people, they are focused on growing their village by exchanging vegetables and fruits. Qan is known for it's most delicious products in Dystopia.

"Papa!" Lily was running to chase her father.

Lily's father stop running and carry Lily.

"Lily, promise me that you will become a good girl and you will protect your mother." The father said.

"Yes Papa! I will protect mama with you." Little Lily said and saw a new family walking towards the house beside them.

"I guess our new neighbor arrived." Lily's father said.

"Papa, what do you mean?" Little lily looked confused and her father walked them to greet the new neighbor.

"Welcome to Qan Village! I am Roger, I live next door and this is my daughter Lily." Lily's father introduced themselves.

"Halo! I'm Lily!" Lily introduced herself also.

"Nice to meet you Roger, I'm Sun. Sun Nomura and these are my children." Mr. Nomura introduced his family to Roger and as time passes by, they became a close neighbor.

Lunch time came during dry season, Roger's Family and Nomura's are having a feast to celebrate Lily's birthday. They enjoyed exchanging different kinds of dishes, sorts of wine are on the table and lots of gifts are given to Lily.

"Thank you uncle Sun! Thank you kiko and koko!" Lily was very happy and opened her gifts immediately.

While the kids are enjoying their toys, the mothers of the children are having a chat at the dining table. Roger walked to approach Sun Nomura who's looking at the window.

"That was a fantastic drink, Brother!" Roger praised Sun.

"Oh! That was nothing much, I hope you enjoyed it." Sun raised a glass to Roger and they cheer.

After sipping the wine, Sun changed his expression and squint at the window.

"What's the matter?" Roger asked worriedly.

"Something's not right." Sun went out to take a look and Roger followed him.

"Where are they? The people of Qan?" Sun asked.

"BAAAAGH! A huge rock fell to their house and when they turned back, Roger and Sun saw their wives, crushed into pieces. Roger was too stunned to move but Sun distract him to help him find their kids.

"Roger! The kids are gone!" Sun said as he points inside the house and went close to his wife.

"Linda..." Roger was shaking at the sight of her wife.

Sun can't even look closely to his wife's situation and cried.

"Roger, let's find the kids." Sun stood up and saw the village full of fire.

"What is happening?" Roger was gazing at the ocean of fire.

"Over here!" Sun said and rescued Lily on the barrel.

"Lily! Oh thank god you're safe." Roger hugged Lily.

"Papa, Kiko..and Koko.." Lily cries as she point to the burning house.

"KIKO! KOKO!" Sun rushes to the house to rescue his kids.

"Sun! Lily stay here okay? Hide here until Papa returns." Roger said and Lily nods.

Sun kicks the door to open it and he was surprised to see a demon.

"Father!" Little Kiko and Koko shouted.

A gross spider lookalike demon was about to eat Kiko but Sun fought it with his sword. Sun was the best assassin in his previous town but he didn't want to meddle again with demons, that's why they left. It turns out the demons clan hates Sun for killing lots of demons.

The demon was slashed and fell to the ground, Sun took his kids but little did he know that the demon was still alive. It was aiming to Sun but Roger helped him and slashed it again. Lily stops from hiding and followed her father to he burning house.

"Thank you for saving us Roger." Sun said as they leave the house.

When Sun was looking for way to get out of the house, the demon pierced it's claw to Roger's heart and Lily saw how her Father covers the attack for Kiko and Koko.

"Roger!" Sun panicked and killed the demon for good.

"Roger! Wake up!" Sun shakes Roger but it was too late.

"Uncle! Uncle!" Kiko and Koko cries.

Sun pulled his kids out of the house before it collapsed. Lily was standing outside the house while staring at her Father. Lily was too stunned because of the traumatic event.

"The demon followed us." Sun said while checking his kids.

Lily heard what Sun said and looks at Kiko and Koko.

"You...You killed my Papa!" Lily shouted at Sun.

"Why did Papa protect you! He should've been alive if you didn't moved here!!" Lily furiously said.

"It's your fault!" Sun was about to help Lily but Lily ran away.

__Present__

"I...I'm.." Kiko mutters.

"Papa died because he saved both of you." Lily said.

"I have come so far just to revenge Papa." Looks sternly at Kiko.

"Lily..I'm so sorry, we don't wanted that to happen. It was an accident." Kiko explained.

"Accident? If you and your father didn't moved to Qan, our village could still be there." Lily rants.

"I'm sorry.." Kiko looks down.

"I wanted to kill your family so bad, but Papa wouldn't like it." Lily said.

"So, don't feel too close to me. I haven't forgiven you yet." Lily said and puts her mask back on and left Kiko.

Koko overheard their conversation and thinks about their past.

Levin barged the door open and unbutton his shirt. Levin was breathing heavily as he looks in the mirror, he saw the mark on his chest.

"What? What exactly is this?" Levin grunts and saw how the mark glows.

"Hey, you okay?" Hazeki went in.

"What is that?" Hazeki saw the mark on Levin's chest.

"I-I don't know...I had it when we came back from Isla Trampa." Levin said.

"Is it from the traps? How do you feel?" Hazeki asked.

"I just feel heavy, I'm not in pain but I somehow feel like someone close to me is in danger and it's connected to this." Levin said.

Levin touches the mark on his chest and suddenly saw a glimpse of the girl that saved him from before, the girl was running in the forest and it looks like she was in danger. Levin held his head and Hazeki helped him.

"You okay?" Hazeki walked Levin to sit on the couch.

"I-I saw the girl that save me...she..she's running from something." Levin explained.

"The girl with the white hair?" Hazeki raised his brows.

"Yes, did she do this?" Levin looked at the mark and touches it again.

Levin saw the girl again and she was hiding in a cave and when the girl calmed down, Levin feel at ease again.

"I see.." Levin said.

"Hmmm?" Hazeki looked at Levin waiting for answers.

"It seems like we're connected, the girl that saved me, I can see where she is when she's not okay." Levin said.

"You mean she really did this? Your mark, the connection and the glimpse of her?" Hazeki asked.

"No doubt." Levin said as he looks outside the window.
