Since the beginning of the cooperative operation between the Grigori and the Principal Clans against the remnants of Utsusemi Agency as well as the magicians of Oz, there were two people watching from the peak of a mountain a short distance away.

They're consist of an adult man and a white-haired young adolescent boy in robes.

Without participating in the recent fight, they're just watching patiently, using a telescope to observed all the conflicts.

And then at the last, The Ice Princess, Lavinia Reini, who had possessed by Augusta, had seemingly been stopped by the unknown boy, Rey who had suddenly come and then go not long after he banished Augusta.

"Eternal Ice Princess «Absolute Demise», Crucifixion Stand by High Priest of Purple Flames «Incinerate Anthem», White Dragon Emperor's Light Wings «Divine Dividing», Dog God of the Black Blade «Canis Lycaon» .... Ice and Flame, White and Black, Those four Longinus gathered at a single spot. Is it God's miracles or God's mischief instead? .... And even added with the Principal Clans and an unknown boy with unknown abilities and identities."

As he looked away from the telescope, the adult man murmured.

"I have comprehended the situation. We will retire now."

The adult man said to the boy behind him.

Surrounding his pupil, the atrocious figures of several corpses were laying.

They were Utsusemi Agency's remnants and magicians of Oz who had attacked the two of them.

They had rushed those two, but they were on the contrary beaten at their own game and met with a gruesome end.

"Even if we get rid of this many underling heretics and witches, it's not even really matters. So let's just stop."

The adult man said to the boy who pulls his sword from the corpse of a female magician.

"Hey, boss. That earlier aura were from Longinus right? Right?"

The boy asked with a wide grin filled with insanity.

"Those were things created by our God. But due to the humans they dwell within being random, if they lack faith, it will lead to calamities.... The Longinus ought to be controlled by us the believers of God, as I expected."

The man said with a bit cynical tone.

"If they can't control it, we will chop them, right? Ahahahaha!"

While laughing pleasantly, the boy asked his master.

"Naturally.... There's nothing but to convict them."

The adult man said while clasping a silver cross on his chest and then starts walking away along with the boy.

Having finished their recent movements and experiments, Satanael who has betrayed the Grigori returned to the research institution that served as the base and hideout.

The location of the institution was a large space prepared in advance which had been established in the underground beneath one of Japan's urban areas.

But those who able to come and go from this place were only personnel authorized by Satanael as well as the Wizards of Oz. Not even the Utsusemi Agency knows about the hideout because from the outset, the Agency had been intended only as sacrificial pawn and not even thought as part of their gathering.

With the data from the time they'd been manipulating the Utsusemi Agency, together with Augusta's cooperation, they'd achieved the outcome they had been aiming for without a hitch.

Having returned to his own personal space within the institution, Satanael opened the cap on a bottle of cognac that had been placed on a board, from which he poured some into a glass.

And at the moment he swallowed a mouthful, someone entered the room impatiently.

"Oh. So you've returned, Augusta. Did you succeeded?"

Satanael asked with a small smile.

Yes. The one who just entered was Augusta, the Witch of the East who had returned after she's banished by Rey.

But she's clearly not in a good mood.

"Bastard, you Satanael! Why did you never told me that there's someone like that around that little girl!"

Augusta who had approached Satanael said angrily while grabbed his collar.

Satanael immediately frowned.

"What are you talking about?"

He asked confusedly.

"Keep pretending! I won't believe it if you said that you never knew that Ice Princess have a Guardian!"

Augusta berated Satanael again.

"Guardian? Who? Mephisto Pheles?"

Satanael asked again.

And it's not strange that he thought of Mephisto Pheles because he knew that Lavinia was member of Grauzauberer Magic Association which lead by Mephisto Pheles. And as Mephisto Pheles himself was a Devil, it wouldn't surprising if he made a protection contract with Lavinia as her Guardian for failsafe.

"Not him, you bastard! The Devil boy with Half-blood! If not because of him, I'll surely able to have two Longinus at once!"

Augusta said and then released Satanael's collar with a slight push.

"Devil boy with Half-blood?"

Satanael who's still frowned, trying to comprehend and thought about what the old witch said.

And after thinking for a few moments, he remembered something.

"Wait. Do you mean Rey Rofocale? Was he a boy with black hair and red eyes?"

Satanael asked to the old witch.

"I don't know his name but he's just like what you described he was."

Augusta said with a hate frown.

"I see.... So he's like that, huh. And he's able to fight you?"

Satanael asked with a tone and expression.

He couldn't believe that just a half-blood Devil boy could defeat Augusta who's a strong, veteran witch. Even just the existence of Vali Lucifer added with the «Divine Dividing» was already quite an anomaly. So he's quite surprised that there's another unique half-blood Devil besides the white-haired boy.

"I almost couldn't even save myself, you bastard!"

Augusta shouted at Satanael again.

"Can you please calm down yourself?"

Satanael said trying to soothe the old witch.

"Hmph."

Augusta snorted and folded her hands on her chest. But even so, she's slowly calmed down.

"And it seems it's truly an oversight from us.... And for your confirmation, I don't know much about that boy. I only heard that when the Ice Princess first came to the Grigori HQ, she's accompanied by a few other people including that boy. At the time, I wasn't at the HQ and even this past year I rarely there, so I really don't know much."

Satanael explained that he's not at fault for the negligence about Rey.

Augusta asked their next plan for the future.

"Well, to invoke disturbing elements, Power is necessary. If it's a human, it's fine so long as they've been bestowed with a Sacred Gear. But where fantastical beings are concerned, it's a different story. When it comes to drawing out fantastical beings, 'Power' as an explicit offering is necessary."

Satanael said with an evil smirk.

"And what do you mean exactly?"

Augusta asked with a slight frown.

And in regards to the old witch's question, Satanael directed his gaze towards the wall of the room.

On that spot, a painting of a snake-like long black dragon decorated the wall. And the black dragon was posed like a circle with its tail in its own maw.

"The longest living creatures in this world, Dragons. And among them who said to be a Dragon God, is one endowed with the power of infinity."

Satanael stated with wide grin.

And the old witch understood what he means.

"Ouroboros, huh.... The 'Snake' of the Ouroboros."

Augusta said in wonder.

"Exactly.... We should find Ophis."

Satanael confirmed.

A legendary dragon considered to be the strongest in the world, The Dragon God Ophis.The personification of Infinity.

Satanael had decided upon that strongest dragon to be their important objective.

"Then, what about our gathering? Have you made contact with other potential collaborators?"

Augusta asked the next topic.

"Yes, I have. And they expressed their interest to join."

Satanael said with a small smile and sipped his drink to wet his throat.

"Incidentally, what is the name we're giving to this gathering of forces?"

Walburga who's actually also here following her master earlier but just silently listening the conversation, raised an inquiry.

"Who would care about something like that, you idiot."

The old witch, Augusta, curtly responded to the question of her disciple.

"But, isn't something like that of considerable importance? Shouldn't we give it a name like those of the opposing powers? After all, even though it's just a collaboration, alliance, or anything like that, it's still an organization, right? So it's kinda funny and embarrassing if we couldn't even have a clear commonness. Hahaha!"

Walburga ignored the retort and she asked a question in great interest.

And to that statement, Satanael smiled.

"If it's a name, I've more or less thought of one."

After a moment's pause, he speaks again.

"<Chaos Brigade>, I think that's what we should call our gathering."

Satanael said with a smirk.

And this was the start of intertwined occurrences of chaos that will happens all over the world until years in the future.

After I saved Lavinia and talked with the representatives of the Five Principal Clans, I directly teleport to my mansion.

I teleported and appeared in the living room where Scathach-sama, Sakuya-san, and my newest family members, Yamato-san, have been waiting after I told them to back home first before I went to check on Lavinia.

"Good work, Rey-sama. Are you okay?"

Sakuya-san approached me and asked if I was alright.

I nodded slightly to her.

"Nn. I'm fine."

I replied shortly and then sat on the couch.

On the other hand, Kulshedra-san who's earlier still in black gauntlets form, released herself from my arms and accompanied by black light transformed back to her human form and sat beside me.

"Huh~.... I'm tired~...."

Kulshedra-san said with a yawn and then leaned herself on the couch.

And I know that though it's indeed already past midnight, it's not like she's sleepy because of tiredness or anything. It's ridiculous to even ask one of the strongest being in this world right now if she's tired. It's just because she's indeed a sloth who's preferably spend most of her time lazing around.

".... So, what exactly happened to Lavinia?"

Scathach-sama calmly asked me.

"She's basically possessed. But I successfully saved her."

I replied and then explained about what happened in more detail. From the start of her mission with the few young Sacred Gears wielders including Vali, until the end where I met with few representatives of the Five Principal Clans and then left.

"I see.... That means Lavinia-sama already safe, right?"

Sakuya-san asked while she served two cups of hot tea for me and Kulshedra-san.

"Yeah...."

I nodded slightly and then sipped my tea.

"Hey, you're not forgetting me, right?"

Yamato-san asked me with a bit pout.

"I'm not. And I'm so sorry I suddenly have to go previously."

I said to Yamato-san with a bit bow.

"It's no matter. But now what? Do we continue what we left before?"

Yamato-san asked again referring about how she's about to show us her other ability where she said she could transform into a wolf or wolf-human but then I suddenly have to go before I felt something happened to Lavinia.

"Well, it's already too late, right now. So let's just save it for later when the day is bright."

I said to her with a shrug.

"Also, about the plan to conquest this region with you as the spearhead, what do you think?"

I asked her again.

"Hmm.... Hey, you said there are some who's suffering because of the chaos here, right?"

Yamato-san asked me with a bit serious tone and expression.

"Yes."

I nodded slightly.

"You know, I already told you before that in my place of origin, Wano, just recently got freed from oppression."

She continues.

I replied.

And after all, the one who first proposed this plan was Shigure-san.

And she said that if we interested to try, with the two Oni-Miko sisters, Tsumugi and Yunagi, as the figurehead banner, and Yamato-san as the main commander, we'll try to rally the youkai tribes from around here, especially the oppressed ones, to join in our plan.

And after the conquer of Chubu finished, then we'll distribute the region into few territories with some of them for those youkai tribes who swears allegiance to our faction. So it's like feudal system basically.... I heard that in other regions, like in Kanto region which lead by the Nurarihyon, their system also similarly like that and that's why we'll adopt it too.

"Okay then! It's decided!"

I said in conclusion.

We'll surely busy from now on.

But it's a good thing too because it means I'll have many opportunities to engage in real battles to sharpen myself further.
