Chapter 74 Seeing you half-naked was more fun.

How did this woman know that a tied-up shirt was something he appreciated? How did she even manage to find one that could capture her magnificent chest?

The trousers were longer than his but they didn't stop showing the legs. They had some elasticity in their material and it showed off.

"You would be the only one who would sneak into my house like that. Although, I'm happy that you followed my instructions."

Somewhere, Issei was happy that both Rias and Akeno wanted to shoot guns.

"I think that would be for the best. Although, I do admit that seeing you half-naked was more fun." He remembered the lessons that he gave her, before and during the training.

"You can't say that I am covered up." While his broad chest and six-pack were hidden, the arms showed enough and Akeno could look inside.

"Can't say that, no. What do you think of my outfit?"

It was like she was showing off her fantastic body and Issei wasn't one to deny a woman who looked that good.

"Awesome. Now, before we begin. Do you promise that you'll pay attention?"

The lady nodded and sat before him as Issei began to explain the rules and guidelines.

Guns were dangerous tools and had to be handled properly.

Her eyes kept flickering to the two that Issei had used during his match with Riser and somewhere, Issei could read that she would love to test those out.

Issei had a hint of worry but as soon he was done with the safety briefing, he looked at Akeno.

"Okay, what would you like to try?"

"The ones in front of you."

That was a surprise for sure and Issei's expression showed it.

Scratching his cheek, the Dragon didn't know what to say. He had expected her to say something like that but she had to feel the Holy energy coming from them.

"If you can touch them, without your hand burning off, sure?" He admitted that to her and he just looked her over.

There had to be warnings coming off from the gun.

Issei had seen Strays trying to turn his guns against him. It always ended with them, getting horrible burns to the point that it often resulted in them getting killed or making the job, remarkably easier for him.

It came as a huge surprise that Akeno lifted the Casull without those gruesome injuries. He imagined that he would jump in as soon her fingers grazed the handle yet, his mind was boggling on how Akeno could lift that weapon.

"What made you think I couldn't?"

"I am more worried about how you can do that. Do you mind telling me? You have reasons why you chose those weapons" Akeno sighed as Issei asked. But the Dragon was right to be surprised that she could handle those guns.

"Let's just say that I wasn't born a Devil."

"Most Evil Pieces aren't born as Devil. And it still prevents them from coming close to anything Holy. Akeno, I have one question for you. Were you a Fallen Angel?"

The [Queen] couldn't blame Issei for being suspicious. Why did she test this out? But then again, she had wanted this.

"How did you figure that out?"

"Angels would rather Fall than become a Devil. Not that there are many out there. Believe me, I would know. Plus, it's remarkably easier for Fallen to procreate it. It also explains your affinity for Lightening Magic."

Issei had a dozen more reasons but he would give the most obvious reasons.

"I think I should have known." Akeno lamented the fact that the man in front of her, was way sharper than most gave him credit for.

"Why choose such a roundabout way to tell me?"

Akeno's sigh wasn't one that fitted a girl that pretty and sexy.

"If we continue on this, I think that honesty is the best policy. So this is why I wanted to tell you this."

"You're not like Raynare or Kalawarner, though. Akeno, I don't need details. Rough lines would be enough."

The [Queen] looked him over. In his eyes, she could read no hatred, no disgust. Just pure and utter acceptance and honesty.

"Given your intelligence, I'd prefer you ask questions. I think that is easier for me to handle."

It was not an unreasonable request and Issei would handle that, just fine.

"Very well. But please, put that gun down. I don't think we need to have the talking when you are handling something that could kill both of us."

Akeno followed the order while Issei was carefully considering his line of questioning.

"I am ready."

"Okay. Born in Heaven?" That would be the one that could be most telling.

"No, here on Earth," Akeno replied which made Issei think what else to ask.

"Human mother?" There were few Fallen women in the Grigori and if she was born there, there would be no way that she would become a Devil.

"Yes."

For a few tense seconds, it remained quiet.

"Okay, that's all I need to know."

"No questions on how I became a Devil? Or what my story is?"

Part of Akeno hoped he would say yes so she could continue talking. But a bigger part was relieved when Issei shook his head.

"You can tell me when you are ready. I just wanted to know how you could handle those guns. That was my question."

Putting a heavy hand on her shoulder, she could see the smile on his face.

"I don't discriminate. I don't judge. Who you are in the past, is what you made you today but it is not my place to call on that. Thank you for telling me."

Akeno had been a proper lady for most of her life, raised by the Gremory's after she got turned into a Devil, more than ten years ago.

That did not stop her from giving Issei one tight hug, to the point that she was using the [Rook]'s strength that made Issei gasp for air. But he quickly recovered and returned that hug.

"Thank you, Issei-kun."
