Chapter 14 How did you get here, Issei?

"They treated me well. Raynare-sama." The words left her mouth and it reminded both that they still had others in this place. Issei cut Mittelt and Kalawarner loose while Asia took care of Raynare.

From all three, she was the only one who was conscious.

"Thanks for the call," Issei said as he helped her up. The Fallen beauty looked at him and when her eyes found Issei, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed a searing kiss on his lips. Issei's eyes widened. A very nice reward if he was to say. But Asia's blush, adorable pout, and glare were something that he really wasn't sure if he should be that grateful.

When Raynare let him go, she buried her head in his shoulder as she cried her lungs out. It looked like Asia wasn't the only one terrified. Because he had to comfort Raynare, Issei turned to Asia to explain to him what happened.

"What went wrong?"

"Raynare-sama had taken me in. After I left Rome. She told me it would be fine. But Donasheek-sama. He found out that she had a way out. And he didn't want to." Issei sighed as she continued to comfort Raynare.

"How did you get here, Issei?"

"I left Rome as you did. When I knew you'd come here, I went after you. When Raynare came around, I offered her to get her out. She agreed. It was about the only way I could save you." Asia nodded as she wrapped her arms around the two as well.

"What about those two?"

"They defended me. Raynare-sama called someone. You, I presume." Issei nodded to her.

"Yes."

"Now, this is all very touching. But can you explain this to me, Issei Hyoudou?"

Turning his head, he was greeted by Rias Gremory. The four Devils were presumably in her Peerage. One was a woman that showed the same beauty as Rias. Long black hair and violet eyes and Issei would be sure she had the biggest pair of fun bags he ever saw on a woman.

The other one was Koneko Toujou. She gave him a simple nod as he returned it. Petite with yellow eyes and short white hair. The two knew each other. The last person was the boy in his class.

Blond hair and blue eyes and Issei could think that he had smelt some Holy energy of him.

"We should talk yes but I doubt that this place around with dead is the right place to have this conversation. My place it is."

Issei untangled himself from Raynare and jumped down. Handing Rias a card, she was surprised that he could afford to live there.

"Meet me there and we discuss the rest later." Rias was about to protest but Issei's eyes showed that he was very adamant about this.

And just like her Peerage, she hadn't missed the bloodbath that Issei unleashed. So she agreed. Issei turned to the ladies there.

"You're coming with me." Raynare nodded to him and Issei expanded his wings. Gently, he took Mittelt and Kalawarner up. He didn't waste time flying through the roof. He had better check the upper floor. One body had removed himself from the floor.

Scene skip

When he landed in his place, he wasn't surprised to see the Devils already in his living room. They had made themselves at home. It was fine by him.

"You owe us a story." Rias had crossed her arms while she sat on the sofa. Real boss babe.

"I'm going to change first. And do you mind if Asia checks on the other two first? They are still unconscious." Issei placed the two fallen in his room. Asia luckily still had her [Sacred Gear].

"Come with me." He ordered Raynare who gulped.

"Don't worry." His gentle tone comforted her.

"I'll protect you." Asia had luckily started on them.

"Asia, do you mind joining us when you are done?" The Blonde nodded at him. She was good to work at them.

"Will do." Then she gave a wink to Issei.

"Lady-killer." Issei blushed when he heard sweet, little Asia say those words. Raynare looked gobsmacked. Asia had more traits to her than she would have guessed.

And even more in common with her than she thought.

Issei had taken a shirt and some sweatpants. Without a hint of shame, he changed into his room. Raynare gulped when she saw his muscles and just like the Fallen Angel, Asia was blushing as well.

Turnabout was fair play.

With that done, Issei walked down and firmly wrapped a hand around Raynare's waist. She had no escape as Issei came down the stairs of his bedroom.

He took a seat on the couch, opposite of Rias, while Raynare stood behind the one he was sitting on.

"Sorry for the wait. I've been a terrible host. You'd like anything to drink?" He asked the Devils who had been waiting patiently on him.

"No, thank you. We've been dying to hear what happened in that Church." Rias' tone was much like his. Severe, strict, uncompromising.

"I know about much as you do. I got a call from Raynare an hour ago, telling her to get my ass to that Church. Blasted through, saw them captured. Decided to level the place." Issei simply answered as he sat back.

Nodding to Raynare, she began to speak.

"Red, what did you tell your Peerage about the agreement?" Forming a tick on her forehead, this Fallen Angel really had no proper decorum but Rias understood that there were times and places for everything.

"Just about all they needed to know."

"Good, that makes things easier," Raynare announced to the group.

"As we agreed, I'd call Issei when they'd start the ritual. Donasheek found out, he overpowered me and my friends. I gave Issei the call. And the White Dragon saved us all." Issei sighed when he heard that line.

"There you have it," Issei said as he looked at Rias. The Devil Lady crossed her arms.

"As per the agreement, I have turned a blind eye to this predicament and now, you will help me when I need it." Issei knew that part.

"There remains one last thing. What are you going to do now with these Fallen and Asia Argento?"

Raynare shrugged on that matter.
