2 one: Revealing the truth

"I think he is going to propose me soon. He wants to tell me something but he hesitates too much to say that. But I have no problem. He could tell me anytime. He should take some time for it." After this there was blank space. On the other page she wrote again, "Today he proposed me, but not for him. He doesn't like me as a woman. He likes me as her friend, nothing else. He was trying to tell me that his best friend likes me and he wants to date me. But I told him that I won't date his friend. He asked me what's my problem but I can't tell him that my problem is that I like him. He is calling me now again. What should I do?

I talked to him and I can't believe that I told him! He was asking me again and again. I can't understand why he was so crazy for his friend. Too pure friendship! However, He asked me why I didn't want to date him. What's wrong with him? Why am I like this? I couldn't bear more. So I screamed by saying this, "Can't you understand that I love you?" Ah! Wasn't I too shameless! How could I say this! I am dying right now out of embarrassment. I cut the line after saying this. How could I face him tomorrow? I can't understand." Wow! Awesome! She proposed to him! She is not like that! People really change quickly! Then, what happened between them that they are not like a couple now? And if they don't like each other now, why don't they get divorced? He was thinking a lot about it. He wanted to read more, and time his phone started ringing. He came to the room and took the phone which was kept on the bed. It was from an unknown number. But he received the call.

"Who are you?" asked Dae Ju confusedly.

"Hi! Are you Mr. Rumi?" asked a guy from the other side.

"Yes, why?" asked Dae Ju.

"I don't know if you remember but I want to tell you that I am Manager Bong of Cc bank. And you have to pay one million won yet but you didn't pay one penny for the last three months. So, I am eagerly saying to you, if you don't pay five percent of it within two weeks, I will have no choice but to sue you. Then you could live your happy life in jail. Got it?" saying this he cut the line. Dae Ju got shocked and couldn't think of anything.

"One million won! How could I pay this without any job! Ah! Seriously! Who is the guy? Why is his life so miserable! I am really getting more and more curious!" said Dae Ju to himself and started thinking.

"But i don't need to be worried. I will went back to my place soon. But, before that, i need to do something very important!" saying this Dae Ju kept the diary in its own place and put on warm clothes. Then he went outside. He wanted to do everything what he couldn't do after becoming an idol. He went to a restaurant where he used to come with his friend when he was in college. He liked the spiciest food here though he doesn't like spicy food that much. After he joined the agency he could not eat that dish because he was forbidden to eat too much spicy food. They said that it will effect on his skin. He remembered that he came here with his friends. As that dist was expensive they had to collect money from everyone and then they ordered that and ate by sharing. He wanted to eat that alone but today, he has not enough money to buy it. So, he felt disappointed. He went away from there and start walking. As he had nothing to do, he was bored. So, he went to a small and cheap karaoke and start enjoying his time by himself. He sang too many songs and he also danced while singing. He was missing singing too much that he didn't notice about time. He spent here almost all day and when he have no money left, he had to come outside. He was too tired but happy. His heart was pounding like crazy and he couldn't breath well. When he was near his home, he felt little pain in his chest. He thought it was caused because he was singing and dancing for all day and will be gone soon. Without concentrating on it, he went inside and sit on the couch.

"Ah! I am feeling very tired! But it feels awesome!" said Dae Ju to himself. "Ah! You are home! Where did you go? I was worried about you!" asked Lina.

"Oh! You already came! I thought I was early." said Dae Ju without looking at her.

"Where did you go?" asked Lina. Seems like she was requesting him to tell her. "Just here and there." replied Dae Ju. "Why are you looking reddish?" asked Lina again.

"Is it a must to answer you?" said Dae Ju. He was too tired to talk and right now he doesn't want to talk with her.

"If you don't want to then you don't have to." said Lina and came in front of him. "Put off your jacket. You are sweating!" saying this she touched the jacket and pulled to take off. Suddenly his heart began to beat at its top speed and to control it, he shouted. "Hey! Don't touch me! I am not a kid!" But suddenly his chest pain begins to increase slowly. He thought it was nothing so he patted his chest and asked for water. When Lina went inside to bring water, he turned on the TV to breaking news. There was news about him on TV. His body was moving to America for better treatment. The hospital gate was fully crowded by normal people and reporters because they will put him in an ambulance soon.

"As you can see, we all are waiting here to see him once. Oh! There they are coming with his body. Let's go and take a look at him!" said the news reporter and rushed to the spot but she couldn't go near because of the crowd. All the members of "EXTREME", staff, and Dae Ju's parents were there. All their faces were looking pale, anxious and sad. While Dae Ju was watching it, his chest pain was increasing slowly. After some moments when the ambulance finally left, he wanted to stand up but he couldn't because his pain increased too much. He couldn't take a breath. His heart was like it would not support him anymore and he felt hot. He wanted to scream but no sound came from his throat. He put his hand on his chest and wanted to calm down. While trying to get up, he fell down. His half body was on the couch and half body was on the ground. He turned red fully and his every single vein of neck was seen clearly. Lina came back with a glass of water and seeing him like this, the glass fell from her hand and broke.

"Rumi-sshi! What happened! Are you alright? What's wrong with you? Ah! What should I do now!" being afraid, Lina shouted. She ran to him and held him tightly. Seems like she won't let him go anywhere. After some moments Dae Ju finally fell on her lap. When he woke up, he found himself on his bed.

"Ah! What is this place? Am I dead already? What's this smell?" Dae Ju's eyes were only half opened. When he opened his eyes, he saw it was the same place where he used to live after the accident.

"Ah! Here again!" saying this Dae Ju pulled his head up then lied again.

"It was too close to a heart attack. You have to take care of him more than before. Or else, he will have a real heart attack and...." said a female voice.

"Stop! Don't say anything like this!" Now it was Lina's voice.

"It's not my words. Doctor said it to me and I am repeating this to you. And why do you care for him too much? It's not like you love him so much or he loves you? I am telling you, he never likes you even for a day. So, don't worry too much. Evils never die too soon." said the lady voice. Then Dae Ju could hear footsteps. It was not Lina's. And the sound was going far. Lina opened the door of his bedroom and entered.

"Oh! You woke up? How are you feeling now?" asked Lina with a smile.

"I am fine now. Don't worry." said Dae Ju calmly.

"What should I do with you? Where did you go? And why didn't you take your medicines? Are you a child whom I have to take care of? Can't you take care of yourself? Or you want to give me more pain?" said Lina. Her voice was not harsh but her face was looking anxious. "Sorry." replied Dae Ju while finding no other answer.

"Sorry! It's too cheap word. Do you think this word can make the world better? No, never. You can't earn money by saying sorry. You can't bring back someone who already passed away by saying sorry. Then why did you try to cover your guilt just by saying sorry?" said Lina with a disappointed face. Dae Ju can't answer her right now. But he was quite surprised by hearing these words from her. Her patience level broke today so she can't control her mouth. And as Dae Ju knows the reason he couldn't find anything to say.

"I will take care of myself from now on. I promise!" said Dae Ju.

"Take these." Lina took some medicines on her hand and helped him to get up. Dae Ju sat down and took those pills like an obedient boy.

"I'll go and make some porridge for you. Take some rest." Lina stood up and was going to leave. But Dae Ju grabbed her hand and said, "Lina-sshi!"

"What?" asked Lina with a low voice. "Why are you so nice to me?" asked Dae Ju like it was a very simple question. "You know that very well." saying this she wanted to go away but Dae Ju held her hand tightly.

"What? Leave me!" surprised Lina. Dae Ju also didn't realize why he was doing that. When he realized, he left her hand and looked another way. Lina left silently. When she left from there, Dae Ju started thinking that he had to tell her the truth. What if she finds out one day? She loves her husband too much and she is taking care of him because she doesn't know the truth. If she knew the truth, she would never have treated him like that. So, he decided he will tell her the truth by hook or by crook. He is a man so he has to gain strength to tell the truth. If she won't let him stay here after knowing the truth, that would not be a big deal. But he can't betray her anymore. And also he doesn't know why but he feels very abnormal whenever he sees her face. After about half an hour, Lina came back with a bowl of porridge. "Get up and eat this." saying this Lina kept the bowl on the table. Dae Ju sits down but suddenly he can't match his eyes to her. He wanted to tell her the truth but he couldn't. She brought a tray in which she put the bowl and a glass filled with water. Dae Ju felt hungry seeing the food but he lost his appetite while feeling guilty. He sits on the bed without movement and stays like a statue.

"What happened? Aren't you feeling well?" asked Lina. Dae Ju didn't answer her question. Seeing him like this, Lina felt bad.

"Okay, stay like this. I'll feed you." saying this she took the spoon and put some porridge on it. She brought the spoon in front of his mouth but Dae Ju didn't open his mouth.

"Say aah." said Lina. Dae Ju took the spoonful of porridge and gulped it directly.

"Is it too bad to eat?" asked Lina.

"No, It's tasty." said Dae Ju.

"Then, eat properly." saying this Lina fed him continuously and Dae Ju kept eating like an infant. He was confused and also scared. He wants to tell her the truth and go back to his normal life. But what if she became upset? What if she couldn't bear it? And what if she would never have cared for him like this? But he didn't think if she would believe him or not. He was immersed in his thoughts and he didn't notice that Lina was calling him to take another batch of medicines which will help him to stay chilled. He finally took his decision and gained some strength in his mind to tell her the truth.

"Lina-sshi!" "Rumi-sshi!" Both of them call each other's names together.

"What?"

"What?" This time they replied at the same time.

"You go first." said Dae Ju.

"No, you can tell me first." said Lina.

"No, ladies first." said Dae Ju.

"Okay, then I'll tell you first. I got a new job at the roadside salon." Lina said with a bright smile.

"Really? That's good news." said Dae Ju smilingly.

"Yes, but I have to get some training too. So, from tomorrow I will be very busy. You should take care of yourself from now on. I won't always be there for you." said Lina and looked at the floor. Dae Ju couldn't say anything so he stayed silent. After a few moments Lina broke the silence and said, "Now it's your turn." "About what?" asked Dae Ju.

"You have something to tell me too!" said Lina surprisingly.

"Ah! The thing is...." saying this he stopped.

"Yes, go ahead," said Lina.

"Lina-sshi! I am not the Rumi whom you knew before." Dae Ju said with a very low voice.

"Then, who are you?" asked Lina.

"I am Kim Dae Ju from EXTREME." said Dae Ju with a serious voice.
