Complicated Friendship

"John? What are you doing here?" Ryan turned his head to the right and left, confirming whether John Armando came with someone or was alone. However, there was no one but the man, who was still sculpting at the door.

There was an unspeakable look on the face of the Latin man who was still standing in front of Ryan who was only wearing a boxer without a top, revealing a sculpture on every inch of his body. 

Looking at Ryan, John felt that he had made a mistake coming there. Instead of meeting Hellen, it was the woman's husband who greeted him.

"Ah, no. I heard that you guys are on vacation here because I just to be here too, so I took the time to come to visit. Can I go in?" Already on the responsibility, he had to find the right reason so that Ryan did not ask further about his arrival. 

There seems to be a miscommunication between himself and Hellen. Did the woman say she was in the room? Why is it that John is now stranded here with Ryan?
