2-4: Progress, Grimoires & time skip!

Damon continued training in occulumency, while also training in legimency every day , and he was getting closer ( his current self ) to everyone , but Damon always kept a distance from everyone except Jasmine and Xia Qiangyue , since they're group members they won't know about the time he needs to leave this world...

He didn't want to get attached to this world too much , so he kept a little bit of distance to everyone , who didn't go unnoticed by them.

And in a day , in what seemed four months have passed , Xia Qiangyue and Jasmine have finally gathered up their courage to ask him - as Xia Qiangyue was either too shy to ask him or Jasmine was thinking that it was beneath her to ask something he should've told her.

Damon was still on his occulumency training , as he was pretty close to being half-done. As for his legimency, he could read only the superficial thoughts of somebody - but it was progress nonetheless , as he wasn't discouraged since people on this world would take decades in order to reach his current level.

After noticing some presences walking towards him , he ignored them and continued talking - as everyday Noelle along with Luna would come to him , and say the same thing , which was something like:

"You're far too dense for your own good! You should go research about relationships or you're gonna leave us hanging behind!" , then they would run away to their rooms.

Damon of course only glanced at them, then shook his head as he didn't think too much - He already had 3 girlfriends and he wasn't planning to get more.

And today was different though , as Jasmine and Xia Qiangyue came , they noticed him ignoring their presence , but it seemed pretty normal as they too heard about what happened , while no one can really blame Damon , as they respected him even more due to him not dating 9 year old girls while being 18.

They sighed as they realized that there was a blush on their face which explained their feelings which were a bit of mix from their past self - which still was on their hearts but wouldn't affect their decisions.

They shook their heads , sighed and wondered why it would be this troublesome for them to love anyone.

They then proceeded to Damon , shook his shoulder gently to wake him up , who then opened his eyes , and then Jasmine said with a voice full of triumph:

" Humph! Ignoring this princess once you sense her presence!"

"Yes, yes , princess whatever , just get it done what do you need?" Asked Damon in a tired manner as he was training at the same pattern in the past months , which was - doing his part-time job, coming back and training legimency and occulumency.

Which put a toll on his mind as he didn't experience much else , but he didn't mind as he knew that he wouldn't gain anything by just doing nothing, as this would prove useful later on.

Jasmine also was used to his words , so she got to a serious voice and asked'

" Tell this princess , honestly. Why are you keeping your distance away from everyone? "

Then it was Xia Qiangyue, who was silent all along , to ask in with a slightly flushed face to him:

"Yes , Damon. You've always been keeping away some distance from all of them , except for us of course , and that didn't make sense ."

Damon sighed as he remembered that although they were powerful ok their past selfs , they didn't deal with humans too much as they were cultivating most of their lives.

He then said to them : " It's simple , when the mission time ends I have to make some way for my disappearance problem, like what would happen if I , who would be powerful in the academy but I wouldn't surpass the limits , suddenly be as strong or stronger than the council masters , and fight with the group which consists of us there?

Well pretty simple , after everything's over, I'm not so naive to think that they would appreciate my efforts , and then offer me a couple of rewards , and everyone's good.

No , everyone would be affected their greed regardless of who it is , as they would want how I got my hands on this power , or do human experiments on me in order to find what's the speciality in my body.

While some would fear , thinking that if I was stronger than both council masters then I'd be able to kill them easily , there are some fools who would think that I'd be weakened as to capture me for either questions or directly doing experiments on me after killing me.

Now the best solution to this would be pretty simple - keeping a distance from everyone and when all's done , I'm disappearing straight to Rui , Hina's world , and maybe pay a visit to Esdeath's" He talked with the same serious voice as ever throughout the conversation , but then put a loving tone as he said about the 3.

Jasmine and Xia Qiangyue were stunned as they didn't expect that he already had partners from last missions , which broke their hearts but didn't show it on the outside as they just nodded and left.

Damon sighed , shook his head as he continued training..

After going back to their room , Xia Qiangyue and Jasmine looked at each other while tears could be building up their eyes , they sighed as their past selves finally affected them , which meant one thing - the system was intervening in order to avoid past selves affection to affect them right now.

It kept their affection for him previously due to it not affecting their thinking - as all emotions wouldn't affect their thinking , but the system didn't know about love as it had already bloomed in their hearts.

After the system pop up showed , which just said that it was going to get rid of unnecessary emotions , they sighed as they felt the huge sadness that built up earlier being removed.

They didn't say much , as they glanced at each other , nodded while no

one knew what they were thinking about...

And just like that , the days continued until the month before they get the admission letter arrived - for all of the group members.

Jasmine , Xia Qiangyue and Damon though didn't act much differently as they knew they had to do so in order for them to successfully seem like 'abandoned children with magic talent'.

And finally , all of the group used at least felt the magic in the surroundings - Asta of course being an exception as he had devil-slaying magic.

They then got their admission letters - which was according to the Wizarding Law mandatory as everyone would bear too much concequences on their shoulders if they knew about magic but still didn't go to the Magicapex academy .

The group then arrived a week before their arrival at the academy at the place where grimoires where given for them.

All of them had gotten at least one grimoire, while Damon , Xia Qiangyue and Jasmine met 3 people whom they knew about but didn't talk to as of yet.

These 3 people were of course : Daphne , Secre , Hans Schuster.

It was different as everyone, whether nobles or commoners , all needed to go to get their grimoires at such places , as it also gave them more interaction with commoners which others' families either wanted them to feel like they're above them or feel like they're the same.

And the ceremony didn't change much , as a book chose everyone - even Asta whom the 5 leafed book chose him this time from the library.

Asta got a devil-slaying magic book, that was of course five-leafed

Yuno got wind magic-book that was four-leafed.

Harry got lightning magic-book that was three-leafed.

Daphne got nature magic-book that was four-leafed.

Hans got a fire magic-book, which stunned him as he expected to get a book that had all magic...

Secre got illusion magic-book that was four-leafed.

Damon got an unknown magic-book that wasn't leafed at all, that he expected as something related to a dragon's magic, though he was right but there were all types of magic in there..

Xia Qiangyue got ice magic-book that was four-leafed.

Jasmine got blood-magic book that was four-leafed , which she expected due to her future fate that consisted of her killing millions..

Noelle got slightly different magic-book , which was ice magic-book , that was that was three-leafed.

Luna got a seer's magic-book that was four-leafed , which was rare as none present in the ceremony got another one similar to hers.

Hermione got mind magic-book that was three-leafed. , which consisted of being able to read people's mind if they didn't have occulumency ( which they do not as only the top of the magic society had ) ,and also made it easier for her to read books..

A lot of nobles were stunned , as they didn't expect to see such a huge number of four-leafed grimoire users..

But for some reason, they quickly forgot about it as if it was normal to have a four-leafed book..

Xia Qiangyue ,Jasmine and Damon , went a way so that they could meet both Daphne and Secre , as they haven't met them as of yet the whole time.

After they arrived , they were greeted by a young Hans who was looking at Jasmine with a look of owning her , who in turn didn't like it and was about to cast a spell to turn him down ,only to be turned down by Damon as he gently touched her hand , and said:

" Don't , he's someone we might get in touch with in the future , and we also need his help.

In case you haven't noticed him , he's Hans Schuster - this world's previous protagonist.

He's confused right now as all the girls whom he looks at with that look of his become his , but now that I'm the main character , and since your existence in this world is special , that's not gonna happen to either you nor anyone else."

Jasmine just blushed a bit , nodded at him without staying anything..

After which , they went and told both Secre and Daphne about their identities , and that they'll meet in the Magicapex academy , who nodded in response as they didn't say anything..

As for Damon, when he came back he checked his current strength : he reached a level higher than the council masters themselves in both occulumency and legimency - but wasn't able to master it as he missed something but he didn't know what , but he had a feeling that he'd get the answer to his question later on..

As for his strength , it recovered to the soul establishment realm..

And then time passed until it was finally time for going for the Magicapex academy , as they all left..

A.N:

Remind me if I forgot someone else's magic book, also I still don't know about Luna or Noelle...

As for the reason Luna couldn't see the future, well it was just explained , as she can't unless she has a grimoire.

And magic-book= grimoire , I might have both in the future so just remember.

Noelle getting an ice magic-book.. Honestly I wanted to change her from cannon as she was pretty useless at first with control over water , so when she starts ice magic training in the academy , it'll be like a different version of Noelle who's good at controlling ice , as ice is the same as water but it's a bit more powerful ( Well at least in this world's magic.)

As for the matter of nobles forgetting about four-leafed being great , well system's world for them to make it more convenient~?

I did say Secre gets back her memories once she gets the grimoire right..? She was a shy naive girl before , but not anymore as she got back her personality, memories and such.

As for Xia Qiangyue , it's like a whole different person since all her arts are gone , shes gonna be like a normal shy girl in love right..?

Well not anymore as they are still in love, but won't just blindly go to Damon just because they love him...

I hope I do a better romance on this arc...
