Smack!

Thwak!

"Haah.... Hah..." Akashi layer on the ground covering his head from the beating he is enduring.

"Akashi, Akashi, Akashi. How many times do I have to tell you? Do your fucking job right!!" The man who was kicking and punching Akashi yelled.

"I'm...I'm sorry, Kouya."

"Hmph, you better be sorry you piece of shit!" Kouya kicked Akashi once more before sitting on the chair nearest to him.

"Yes.. I am sorry.."

"Now get me what I told you to get in the first place! And do it right this time, will ya?" The other guild members cackled and giggled at Akashi as he stood up and exited the establishment they resided in.

'Haa... How long do I have to keep this up for?', Akashi murmured to himself while walking down the busy street bruised up.

002

The heroes were born in a country called Japan that had ended up in this world to defeat the demon lord who seeks to destroy this world.

After getting to know how the world works and training their powers, The heroes party set out to find an extra member for the party.

There were flyers everywhere you turned that hadn't talked about the recruiting for the party. Akashi decided to try it out with no hope in mind thinking he wasn't going to get chosen.

He was born a commoner and barely had enough to get by, so when the heroes chose him, his world filled up with beautiful colors.

"Welcome to the Heroes Party, Akashi." Kouya smiled and held out his hand. Akashi happily shook Kouya's hand after being accepted.

The other heroes that came from the same place as Kouya smiled as well. Including Akashi, there was a total of 6 heroes.

Kouya, the 'strongest' out of all of them, Alice, the healer and buffer, Ryuuya, a paladin knight who excelled in combat that could be mached to Kouya's, Junko, a supporting tank and buffer, Kagomi, a healer and combat fighter, and Akashi, the newest addition to the party.

The heroes never asked what power or how strong Akashi was since you could tell he was weak just by looking at him. They handed him a few bags and told him to carry them as they would be traveling in just a few minutes.

Akashi, who didn't see anything wrong with it just went along with the ride and did whatever they had asked.

4 years gone by and he has still been treated exactly, well, worse than when he first joined. Now he's just a punching bag for Kouya and Ryuuya.

Alice would occasionally help Akashi here and there, and when Kouya found out about it, Alice had disappeared and never came back.

"Huh? Alice? Oh yeah, she's dead. I killed her." Kouya smirked and put his feet on the table.

Akashi's eyes widened with rage as he clenched his palms to the point that his hands started bleeding.

Hating the way Akashi looked at him, Kouya stood up and punched Akashi and he fell to the ground.

"How dare someone as weak as you look at me like that? Do you want a death wish?"

Standing up, Akashi punched Kouya for the first time and Kouya got pushed back 20 meters.

Kouya was shocked at Akashi's sudden change in emotion and laughed. "You finally broke!" He exclaimed. "Now, come at me, shithead."

Wasting no time, Akashi ran towards Kouya as fast as he could and tried to go in for another punch when Kouya took out his sword and cut off Akashi's right arm.

"AAAHHHH!!! MY... MY ARM!!!" Blood spilled onto the floor and left a trail as he took a few steps back away from Kouya now that he knew that Kouya was really going to kill him

In a split second, Kouya stood in front of him and stabbed his heart.

"Ah..." Akashi's face contorted as he fell to the cold ground.

"You are free from your duties, Akashi. The heroes party doesn't need you anymore. Now sleep a deep sleep, never wake up. Stay dead for all of us, okay?"

"..."

"Goodbye, Akashi."

Akashi smiled as he slowly closed his eyes. Kouya left the room, leaving Akashi's breathless body on the ground.

---

A few minutes later, Akashi opens up his eyes and gets up. He puts his hand onto the sword that's stabbed in his heart and pulled it out without making a sound.

"Thank you for giving me this opportunity, Kouya. I'll make sure to kill you and the other members of the party for treating me like this."

Akashi had always been strong from the beginning. When he was at the age of 10, he was able to defeat the strongest knight in his hometown.

Even now, he is still strong. 'All the battles we fought, did they really think that they won by their own power?'

Every single battle the heroes party fought and won was only because of Akashi. If he wasn't there, they would have died earlier on, but now they'll be killed by him.

Akashi holds the sword in his hand and makes a slash in the air to test it out. After that, he straps it on his back and looks around.

Sensing nobody was around him, he used a magic circle and teleported out of the room. He ended up at a certain village named Muen.

Arriving at the entrance of the village, Akashi entered the village and looked around. For such a small village, the streets were lively.

Finding the chief of the Muen village wasn't that difficult, and the first thing he asked when he was there was if he could be able to purchase some land.

"The only plot of land we have left is the cottage at the top of the hill", the Village chief pointed towards the mountain. "There hasn't been anyone living in that house for about thirty years."

"Why is that?"

"Well, legend has it that there are ghosts to take the villagers who went into the forest. But that's just some myth..."

"..."

"A-Ahem! I'll sell that plot of land to you for 30 gold and 20 silver."

"Sure. I'm fine with that." Akashi handed the chief the exact amount and the chiefs eyes widened.

"...Alrighty then, the property is all yours, sir...?"

"Akashi."

"Akashi. I hope you enjoy the village as much as the villagers and myself do." He smiled and Akashi smiled back—watching the chief disappearing in the distance as he got closer and closer to his new house.

Standing in front of the door, he opened the door and froze in place. There is a woman with a White spirit fox mask sleeping on the couch in his living room.

TO BE CONTINUED.

This is a work in progress.

I will be fixing my mistakes in the future but for right now, this story is a beta version of the final piece of the webnovel.
