Marriage Proposal.

"Make sure she wears the pink dress this time. The blue dress was horrible. Oh and pin up half her hair so they can get a look at her eyes. The brown hue is beautiful at this time of day."

Leona figured the brunette woman barking orders was her dream mother. So far all morning she was being dressed and dolled up by maids of theirs. She still couldn't wrap her mind around the fact that she was still asleep and dreaming. Everything felt so real to the touch.

After she was finally fitted in a long pale pink dress that hung to her shoulders by two small straps her mother rushed her to the living space. It was large and beautiful surrounded by giant glass windows separated by white flowing curtains. In the middle of the room were two cream colored velvet couches surrounding a wooden antique looking coffee table covered in treats like tarts and macaroons.

Leona went to take a seat and reached for a dessert when her mother slapped her on the back of the hand with a fan.

"Don't. The prince will be here any moment. You don't want to be caught with your mouth full."

Leona rubbed at the back of her hand as she grimaced up at the lady.

"Why am I meeting the prince again?" She asked, trying not too much to get out of character. She still wasn't sure where her dream was leading her to.

Her mother gasped and then flipped her fan open to fan herself. She too had on a gown and her hair was now all pinned up. She was quite beautiful, Leona thought.

"Oh my goodness, Leona, don't you remember the prince is looking for a bride and your father was lucky enough to get you a visitation."

Leona squinted and assumed she was an option for the prince in her dream. I hope he's handsome, she thought to herself.

"Wow, we must be high up in the ranks." She said jokingly.

Before she could smile her mother gasped again and fanned herself faster.

"We are! Your father is one of the Master's mens who directly reports to a Master who directly reports to the King himself! Oh my we will have to get you another tutor."

Masters? Leona pondered.

There were footsteps rushing from the entrance and a butler entered the room announcing the arrival of the royal prince.

"Get up, get up…" The woman waved her fan at Leona to rise.

Leona stood up and brushed at her dress. When she looked up there was the prince and his servants. Wow, he is handsome. She thought as she looked him up and down. He was tall and slim. Everything on him looked perfect. From his finely combed silver like hair and his blemish free face. Are those pointy elf ears? She thought when she saw his ears which came to a slight point on the sides. He had on a really expensive looking dark blue tux.

"Your majesty." Her mother announced as she bowed and walked over to meet him halfway. She motioned for Leona to follow.

Leona walked around the couches to her mother's side trying not to trip in the small heels they put her in. She wasn't used to wearing heels.

"Prince Cornelius, this is my daughter, Leona Brown. I'll leave you two to chat." She smiled the most charming smile as she and the servants left the room together.

The prince looked around the room before he finally laid his eyes on her. One of his brows slowly lifted. Leona noticed his dark emerald eyes looking her up and down. She tried not to twitch a limb. When his eyes rested on her bosoms she coughed slightly to get his attention. This will do. He told himself. Although he found her blonde locks to be beautiful as well as her figure.

He gave her a cold look and then walked over to the windows to look out at their garden view. Leona instinctively followed. When she saw the view her jaw dropped. It was the most beautiful sight she had ever seen after the prince. The colors were so vibrant. She had never experienced seeing flowers and greenery so appealing.

"You and I are to be wed." The prince said. "I expect you to learn your place as the future queen of Lucens Terra."

"Lucens Terra…?" Leona thought and bit her bottom lip.

Cornelius took a breath. Dear God, she's dimwitted. He thought.

"You will take classes. Everyday. I can't have a foolish bride."

Leona whipped her head to the man and gave him a look of disdain. Who does he think he is? She said in her head. A prince duh. Well this is just a dream after all. Let's play. She told herself.

"I am not foolish and who says I want to marry you?" She said with confidence she would never have in real life.

Cornelius returned a displeased look and grabbed her forearm. His grip tightened when she struggled.

"I say you will marry me. You will be my wife, you will be smart, you will stay attractive, and you will have many children for me." His voice was stern and serious.

Leona tried to pry his fingers off her forearm and when she couldn't she looked up at the dark emerald eyes and frowned. All the handsome qualities he had were now gone and all she saw was a greedy narrow minded man. In her world you could say he was a fuckboy.

"No, I won't! Now let go!" Leona shouted in his face.

He was shocked by her outburst and let go. He had never been yelled at by any other than his father his whole life.

Leona rubbed at her now red stained forearm. The group that left before now returned to the room.

"What's going on here?!" Her mother screamed as she rushed to Leona's side.

"She has bad manners." Cornelius said now back to his blank composure.

Leona looked up at him in shock. Are you kidding me? This guy. She said to herself.

"I am so sorry, your majesty. We will work on her, please forgive us." Her mother bowed her head as she did so she grabbed Leona's red forearm, yanking her down to bow as well.

"Ow," Leona grimaced. Her mother gripped tighter.

Cornelius looked at them in disgust and then walked out the living room to his servants addressing them to ready his carriage.

Leona and her mother stood back up. Her mother turned to her with angry eyes. She swatted Leona around her body with the fan.

"What do you think you're doing?! Your father worked so hard for you to get this proposal and you shame him?!"

Leona was in disbelief by all the pain she was enduring after being objectified. This dream was horrible, she thought to herself. Time to wake up.

"Wake up now Leona!" She shouted to herself.

Her mother's jaw dropped at the sight of her daughter losing her mental state.

"You've gone mad…"

"Maids, lock her in her room. No dinner for her."

Leona's eyes widened at her dream mother. She could not believe how horrible this dream was getting. And why couldn't she wake up?
