--------------------------------------------------------------------

On a bright and sunny weekend, the streets were packed with cars and pedestrians bustling about. The air-conditioning inside the mall was running at full capacity, with people leisurely strolling through it, enjoying the cool air while shopping for goods. Some were watching movies in the cinema, while others relaxed or enjoyed thrilling experiences.

Just like any other peaceful weekend, people were celebrating their time off...

Suddenly, two meteorite-like objects descended from the sky, piercing through the dome of a large shopping mall and crashing onto the ground. The earth shook violently, causing the surrounding area to collapse and leaving behind a deep pit. Buildings crumbled, and countless people screamed and ran in panic, causing chaos and disorder.

Gray smoke rose into the sky, fires erupted, and explosions continued, spreading to other buildings and roads nearby. Just as people were bewildered and scrambling to escape, two individuals emerged slowly from the smoke.

These two individuals were dressed in peculiar outfits—one with a bald, incredibly strong physique, and the other with a small yet arrogant demeanor. They walked through the fire and wreckage without a hint of panic, emanating a terrifying aura. Suddenly, a woman screamed, igniting an atmosphere of panic.

"Aliens... from another world!"

"What?!"

"Run!"

In an instant, everyone felt an overwhelming sense of dread. Some attempted to flee, while others froze in fear.

"Hey, they're just ignorant humans," Nappa looked around with disdain, observing the panicked people. "Let's give them a proper greeting," he said, raising his hand and extending two fingers, his mouth curling into a smug smile.

"Take this!"

In the blink of an eye, an immense power surged forth, causing the ground to explode and the sky to light up! The area turned into a ridiculous wreckage, with no trace of people, animals, or buildings remaining—everything was utterly obliterated, and smoke filled the air...

"Hahaha! Wasn't that a proper greeting?" Nappa chuckled, surveying the empty ruins.

Vegeta brushed off the dust. "That was a rather boring display. Don't forget why we came to Earth," he glanced at Nappa. "If there's a Dragon Ball in this area, our chance at eternal life will be lost, you fool!"

"Ah, my apologies! I got carried away and didn't notice," Nappa quickly realized the gravity of the situation, panic overtaking his face.

If Vegeta became angry, it would spell trouble for Nappa!

Fortunately, Vegeta merely scolded him lightly, his words carrying a strong tone but lacking much anger.

"I'm searching for a formidable individual on this planet—a warrior named Kakarot. We have to eliminate him," Nappa said, pressing a device. Suddenly, a series of beeping signals filled the air—"beep, beep, beep..."

The signals kept coming, all originating from the same location.

"There's no mistake. There are many strong fighters on this planet, all boasting combat power exceeding a thousand."

"Heh, only a thousand? Are they even a threat? We can easily defeat them all together, wiping them out one by one!" Vegeta sneered, a smirk playing on his lips.

"Let's go!"

Under Vegeta's command, Nappa moved towards the source of the signals.

Meanwhile, the Earth's soldiers had gathered, sensing the powerful energy of the Saiyan warriors drawing closer.

The King Kai had informed them in advance, giving them a head start.

To minimize casualties, they had chosen a desolate hill, a vast wilderness, and remote mountains as the battlefield. The wind blew dust, scraping past everyone. All eyes were fixed on the distance as they stood tall and resolute.

Raditz stood at the forefront, his expression serious.

"They're coming!"

"These two Saiyans are truly formidable. We can feel their anger even from here." Though Krillin was shocked but he didn't panic. After all, both Raditz and Goku standing before him were Saiyans as well, and he knew that these two possessed even greater power!

"Tien Shinhan, are you ready?" Raditz asked.

"Yamcha, if things get dangerous, retreat immediately. Your power level is the lowest, so don't push yourself," Tien Shinhan advised. "I'll be able to engage them in combat right away. I'm really looking forward to it."

"Ah... it's really intense," Gohan's face betrayed a hint of fear.

"Hmph." Piccolo's mouth curved in a disdainful angle, brimming with confidence.

In the past month, he had been training relentlessly, sparring numerous times with Goku. He had grown significantly stronger compared to a month ago. From his perspective, these two Saiyans wouldn't pose a problem. They wouldn't stand a chance against him!

Wearing a flashy cloak, Piccolo stood calmly beside Goku, exuding an aura of tranquility and strength.

"Don't be afraid, Gohan. We've made tremendous progress in the past year. You too possess the power to fight," Piccolo reassured Gohan, who was drenched in sweat.

"Yes, Uncle Piccolo." Gohan felt slightly braver after receiving Piccolo's encouragement.

Gohan had been trained under Piccolo's guidance since childhood. Initially, Goku wasn't the best at teaching, and Goku also found it difficult to face his son in combat. However, Piccolo took it upon himself to train Gohan earnestly.

Currently, Gohan's combat abilities were likely on par with Krillin's. He lacked experience, as he hadn't truly experienced life-or-death battles, making his expression somewhat tense. Goku deliberately placed him behind himself, offering support and reassurance.

"Do we have the Senzu Beans?" Raditz inquired, turning to Goku.

"I have them. But Korin said there are only three left," Goku pointed to a small bag hanging from his waist. "Oh, and I think Chiaotzu is on his way too. I wonder why we haven't seen him yet?"

"Don't count on him. He tends to appear at the most critical moments."

"If what you say is true and his power level matches yours, around 18,000, he won't be a match for you, brother. The Senzu Beans won't be of much use!" Goku smiled.

"I hope so."

Raditz responded casually, but a sense of unease washed over the Earth's champion once again. Although he possessed a combat power of 20,000, combined with King Kai's training and the secret of the Spirit Bomb, he should be more than capable of dealing with Vegeta. However, the more he thought about it, the more uneasy he felt in his heart.

Had the timeline quietly changed? Was it because of this? What had gone wrong?

Raditz racked his brain, but he couldn't find an answer. He anxiously gazed at the sky, sensing that there was still some hidden power lurking somewhere, but he had no clue...

Just as he was lost in thought, Tien Shinhan shouted, and everyone's attention shifted to a figure in the distance. They saw two white flames igniting, charging towards them with unruly momentum.

Vegeta and Nappa, you've finally arrived!
