Dragon Lord of Starling City

「 Hiatus 」 Rebirth, Reincarnation, Transmigration. Caden was killed in cold blood as he slept, on the night of his late parent's wedding anniversary, by the very same man who killed them on his birthday when he was only five years old. He had only been fifteen years old at the time of his death. Given a choice of what he wished to become, he admired those who could fly, he loved the stories of dragons, and he was infatuated with the Arrowverse television series on the CW. And so... He chose to become a Dragon Lord, a powerful mythological being, an Alpha of his kind. His very essence materialized upon the gravesite of Oliver and Robert Queen in the year 2010, two years before the emergence of the Hood. The body of the draconic being was endowed with powerful magical energies far beyond his initial comprehension.

My Way, Moonstone Spire

That same day, Thea Queen hadn't returned home like she was suppose to that day after school. Moira Queen who was genuinely worried didn't know what to do. She didn't call, when she did call the phone, no one picked up. It had been three hours since she was suppose to be home, it was seven o'clock at night and the sun was practically below the trees.

She sent Walter several texts, but he didn't respond for hours either. She was sitting in the kitchen within the Queen's homestead. Her hands were clasped over her blond locks that winged over her ears as she rested her elbows on the table.

Moira was getting angry that people weren't paying attention, that they weren't responding.

It took her thirty minutes until she pulled up her laptop from her son's old school satchel and put it on the table. Logging into the main user, she would open the website for her cellphone service provider and login to that as well.

Within a few minutes she was able to get the exact location within the Core City that she was being 'held' as she had no idea why she would be there.

The first thing she noticed was that Caden wasn't home either. He wasn't answer his phone that she had given him. When she traced his phone, she found that it was dead and wasn't giving reception.

Thoughts were pining through her head as if there was no tomorrow. Could they have been kidnapped? Of course because of all the interference earlier within the year, she had no idea her daughter's boyfriend was an nigh all powerful Dragon Lord. So if they were being hostage, why hadn't she gotten a ransom demand? Why wasn't anyone answering their phone?

With the location of her daughter found, she closed the laptop and stuffed it back into the bag. She then went on to pick up her purse and a holdout pistol she had for a rainy day.

Stuffing that into her bag, she made her way outside as she had a bodyguard ready the car beforehand so that they could readily leave at a whim.

So after they drove into the core of the Starling City that they loved so dearly, the driver pulled over to the side of the road in front of the large white and black building. Moira looked over the front door, narrowed her sights on the terminal. It was clear that only people who were expected guests or people who lived in the building could even enter the lobby.

Pushing her way out of the vehicle, she assaulted the cement walkway and made her way over to the front doors. With a black peacoat and a business casual dress, she knocked on the glass doors.

Petra who was reading a book at the front desk, glanced up and looked at Moira. Raising a brow, she pressed the button beside her computer, causing the doors to open. She didn't bother to use the intercom as she knew who the woman was.

"Ms Queen, what can I, Petra, do for you today at Moonstone Spire?" Petra asked as the woman walked up to the front desk, a stern expression on her face.

"Have you seen my daughter," She took out her wallet and revealed a picture of Thea Queen. Though it was clear Petra was in half the mind to answer her right away before she even gave a picture. She knew who Thea Queen was, she was one of her avid followers.

"Yes, I have seen them." Petra said as she leaned back in the office chair, looking up at the woman who was soon joined by the bodyguards who entered the lobby a second before the doors closed.

Moira turned her head to the side slightly as Petra didn't say much more, didn't inform them where they had gone. "And?" She wanted the woman to give more information.

Petra could definitely see the distress written on the woman's face and let out a sigh. "Use the intercom to call on room four one four." She pointed towards the terminal beside the elevator doors.

"You can't just give me a key to the room?" Moira asked rather snobbishly.

Petra raised a brow slightly, "It's the heir's room. I'm not able to do that," she responded with a huff of air. "I'm sure Thea is fine."

Moira scrunched up her nose slightly and marched on over ot the terminal and pressed the digital button to call upon the room. She could hear it buzzing and ringing, then suddenly it was answered. The song "My Way" being sung by Sinatra could be heard playing loudly, followed by the sound of sizzling on a deep frier.

"Mom?" Thea asked as her face appeared on the terminal screen in an fisheye view, making her face seem really long and squished like a teardrop.

Moira raised a brow slightly when Thea answered the call, "Thea Dearden Queen, what do you think you're doing young lady? You were supposed to be home at seven!"

Thea immediately ended the call, terminating the connection between the room and the terminal.

"You little..." Moira was clearly miffed, completely annoyed with the situation. The moment she got a hold of her daughter and tried to scold her, she hung up! She buzzed the room again and Thea appeared on the screen once more.

"You've reached the Price Residence, how can I help you?" Thea said in a sarcastic and snarky tone, she was clearly feeling same about her mother, aggravated and obviously annoyed.

"Price Residence...?" Moira stood there for a moment dumbfounded. So this was Caden's place? She glanced over towards Petra as she hadn't told her that Caden was the owner of the Heir's flat. She then turned back towards the terminal with a frown across her lips. She figured if she tried to strong arm her daughter, it was clear she would just hang up again. "Why didn't you call and tell me you weren't coming home on time?"

Thea simply gave her a vacant glare, "Why would I have to tell you anything?" She was giving attitude again, "Why would you care anyways?" She spat back heartbreaking and angry words. Thea obviously hadn't forgiven her mother for putting metaphorically her to the curb after the supposed death of her brother and father.

"Because I am your mother!" Moira responded with much hostility, palming the wall beside the door.

"Thea, who keeps ringing the doorbell?" Caden asked as he stepped out of the kitchen with a skillet in his hand filled with chinese stir fry with minicorns and a number of fresh garlic gloves.

Moira paused seeing him come into the view of the Camera when Thea pulled back.

"Some rich blonde stranger, they won't stop paging the room for some reason." Thea pouted at Caden who simply looked at the Camera from a distance.

After a few seconds, Caden looked towards Thea with a smug grin. "A blood related stranger?"

Thea just looked at him and mouthed words like no and don't do it, as she could see the ideas bursting from his seams.

"Does Ms Moira Queen like Chinese beef stir fry with wild fried rice, peanuts, sesame oil and fresh extra garlic cloves?" Caden asked as he flipped the food in the skillet into the air.

Moira stared at the image of the boy who she had been housing for several months, and somehow seemed to have cooking skills. Though she did recall him making an egg breakfast for at one point. When Thea shifted a bit more to the side, unblocking more of the camera. She narrowed her eyes at the black wood table with a red cloth with white candles and green flame. "Candle lit dinner?" She blinked several times, believing it was a bit old school and looked to be something a hopeless romantic. "Why is the fire green?"

"Special order candle wicks," Thea immediately blurted out before Caden could answer the questions that her mother had asked suddenly.

Caden looked over at Thea for a moment then back towards the Camera an shrugged. "Supposed to be," he responded to the first question with a snort. He wasn't too approving of Moira, but he wasn't as angry with her as Thea was. "How about you come back at another time?"

"I'm come here to pick up my daughter," Moira responded with a stern tone as if she wouldn't take no for an answer. "I'll come back later."

"Doors lock to unaccompanied visitors at Eight," Caden retorted when she said that she would be back later

Moira scrunched up her face and Thea hung up the comm system before the conversation could go any further.

Thea smiled at Caden who just smirked back at her as he went back into the kitchen with the skillet in hand. He placed it back on the stove and continued to cook the dinner. It would literally be ready in a few minutes.

Caden who was now in the kitchen could hear the doors of a car slam closed and an angry engine storm off down the road. It was clear that Moira was quite a bit angry, her daughter hand hung up on her once again.

"Oi..." He snickered quietly to himself before putting the food onto two empty plates once it was finished and making his way out to the dining room. Thea smiled seeing the food and followed him over, watching as he placed the food on the table.

He even pulled out the chair for her and pushed her in once she was seated. Caden was being the typical human gentleman, as he sat down and put a napkin on his lap. He gazed across the table and their eyes caught one another.

"You really tried to invite my mom up for dinner?" Thea asked with a coy smirk.

Caden shrugged, "I mean, I knew she couldn't accept the invitation." What he pointed out was somewhat false, it was likely she would have accepted simply because. The only reason why she couldn't accept was because Thea hung up.

"Lets get to eating, shall we?" Caden would wink and chuckle quietly to himself as he poked at his food with a fork.
