Kami’s lookout

6 years have passed since the defeat of the androids and society is slowly rebuilding itself. Much to the unwillingness of Chi-Chi, Gochi managed to convince her to allow the two of them to move in with Bulma after she offered since Gochi and Trunks became as close as brothers. Over the 4 years the two have trained rigorously so as to not let down the memory of their master Gohan. One morning as they began to do their morning practice Bulma stopped the two with some shocking news.

"Boys I think you will be happy once I finished working what I am working on. I have two projects going right now. I have managed to rebuild one of the gravity rooms and I remember that it helped Goku get a lot stronger fast. The other project is the one I am really excited about. Once I figure out a few kinks I believe I will have made a Time Machine!" Bulma exclaimed to the two excitedly

"With a Time Machine does that mean we can go back and save Gohan?" Trunks asks

"I hope that is the case but that is also the reason I split some of the time and made the gravity room. I am unsure if the effects on the timeline will effect our time or if it will produce a branched off timeline that is completely different than ours. Either way with the chance of saving some version of us the turmoils that we have been through, I am ok with either one happening. My plan however is a little more than just saving gohan but saving all of us by going back before Goku dies to his heart disease and curing him. Hopefully by doing that it will stop everything else from happening." Bulma sighs with a hopeful tone

"Is there anything we can do to help?" Gochi asks

"Just keep doing what you two do best and all will be good. I have the cure for Goku ready to go should it work. In the mean time you boys try and stay out of too much trouble. In saying all that if all goes well the Time Machine should be done in around a month." Bulma says as she leaves the boys to their training.

As soon as Bulma left the duo darted towards the now constructed gravity room and took to it like a fish in water. With a max gravity multiplier of 300x the boys, after getting over ambitious and about flattening themselves by attempting 200x from the get go recharged their strategy and slowly begin increasing the gravity from 1x yo find their current limit.

Even with all their training with Bulma's gravity room, Gochi and Trunks did not neglect attempting to help the world rebuild. One morning during their patrols Gochi's walkie-talkie beeps signaling Trunks was calling him.

"What's up Trunks?" Gochi asks

"You will never believe this, I just found a giant floating platform. Get to my location and let's check it out" Trunks says

"Heading your way now" Gochi

Arriving at Trunk's location Gochi is surprised that Trunks was not exaggerating at all. As the two land on the platform a voice rings out from

"Welcome to the lookout you two are the first visitors I have had in quite awhile. And judging from the looks of one of you your father used to visit here quite a lot." The voices says and it's figure is slowly revealed from the shadows

"Who are you and what is this place?" Gochi asks

"You can call me Mr. Popo I am, or at least i was, the attendant to kami when we had one, and this is the lookout. It is the home for earths god which allows him to watch over the planet" Mr.Popo says

"This is the home to god what happened to him" Trunk's asks

"He died when the androids attacked. I sense that the two of you have a pure heart how would one of you two like to take over the roll of Kami?" Mr.Popo asks

"I will pass on that Mr.Popo, what about you Trunks?" Gochi says

"What would I have to do if I said yes?" Trunks inquires

"You would become the planets guardian and protect it to the best of your ability." Mr.Popo says

"let me think on it and get back to you. C'mon Gochi let's go back home it's getting close to lunch time" Trunks says blasting off towards home

"By Mr.Popo I'll come back and visit some time" Gochi says before following after Trunks

After thinking it over Trunks decides that he will take Mr.Popo up on his offer. He had already planned on protecting the planet anyways so he may as well.

"Alright young Trunks there is a ritual that we must perform but before that let your family know this ritual will take 1 week to perform" Mr. Popo says

"Hey Gochi can you let mom know I'll owe you big time" Trunk asks

"Fine I guess but if I get in trouble because of this I'm kicking your ass" Gochi teases flying home to inform Bulma

"And so Trunks is at Kami's lookout with Mr.Popo undergoing the ritual to become earths new Kami" Gochi explains

"That little twerp when he gets back I'll let him have a piece of my mind for not letting me know. But that is fine at least we know where he is. In the mean time Gochi come with me I have some explaining to do about the Time Machine and some other specifics." Bulma says
