Rage Of The Machine

After giving both Trunks and Bulla senzu beans, he walks over to Goten and gives him one too.

"Here you go, little brother." Gohan says.

Goten takes it with a smile.

"Thanks..."

He then turns to Granolah, who is still exhausted from the fight the two just had.

"Hey Granolah! Catch!" Goten says, throwing him the senzu bean.

Granolah catches it, staring at it for a moment, confused. He soon eats it, surprised at how good he feels, and how fast he has recovered.

"This is... Incredible." Granolah says.

Goten chuckles, eating one himself.

"I know, right." Goten says.

Meanwhile, Trunks is confused by this.

"Ok, why did Goten give the jerk that shot me a senzu bean?" Trunks asks.

Goten grins, rubbing the back of his head.

"Actually, it's kind of a funny story when you-" Goten starts to speak, but is cut off by a cough.

"Goten? Are you al-" Gohan tries to speak as well, but he gets a cough as well.

Soon everyone, except Granolah who is confused for a moment, starts to cough uncontrollably, falling to the ground. Granolah soon realizes what's happening.

"Dr. Lychee machine." Granolah says.

At that moment, Dr. lychee appears laughing.

"Excellently done, Granolah. Our revenge is at hand." Dr. lychee says

Granolah sees Goten on the ground, in agony clutching his heart, feeling a massive amount of guilt, knowing that the Saiyan's that eradicated the Cerealians and the Tuffles aren't the same ones he has met today.

"Wait, Lychee! Turn off your machine, these Saiyan's aren't guilty of the crimes against our people."

Dr. lychee scowls.

"Aren't guilty?" He asks.

He then gets into Granolahs face with a wicked look on his face.

"All Saiyan's are guilty! Young or Old, they carry the same poisonous blood in their veins! They'll pay... They'll all pay." Dr. lychee says.

Granolah grits his teeth out of frustration.

"They can't all be punished for sins that are not their own. These Saiyans aren't the same monsters that we've seen before."

Dr. lychee scoffs

"You let them get to you. Manipulate your emotions... If all Cerealians are all weak willed as you are, there's no wonder your race was wiped out."

Granolahs eyes widen, seeing that Dr. lychee is just as big of a monanger soon over taking him. While Dr. lychee enjoys the suffering of the Saiyan's, Granolah takes aim and prepares a Ki blast.

"What do you think you're doing?"

Granolah uses his right eye to find the machine that is producing the smoke and fires the Ki blast, destroying it and stopping the smoke. This angers Dr. lychee while Goten slowly stands to their feet.

"You fool! I was this close to avenging the Tuffles! You let them get to you! Manipulate you! What would your people think? What would your mother say?" Dr. lychee says.

Granolah doesn't say anything, and fires a Ki blast that destroys Dr. lychee, watching as he turns into smoke like the other fighters before. The young Cerealian then turns to the group of Saiyan's.

"Are you all alright?" He asks.

"Yeah, we're fine. Thanks, Granolah." Goten says.

"Who was that?" Bulla asks.

Granolah sighs.

"Dr. lychee. A Tuffle who, like me, wanted revenge on the Saiyans. Honestly, if I didn't meet you, Goten, I'd probably be just as swallowed up by rage myself. He used a machine called Hatchiyack, that absorbed grudges."

Goten smiles, happy that Granolah isn't after revenge anymore.

"Of course, it all makes sense. Only a Tuffle is able to handle a machine like that. Years ago, my father pushed them to extinction. Planet Vegeta was originally inhabited by them, but when the Saiyan's came across them- they wiped them all out. Well, so we thought." Vegeta says.

"The Saiyans did. Dr. lychee was a Ghost warrior. A long deceased individual, brought back with Hatchiyack." Granolah says.

"That explains the guys made of smoke. We were meant to defeat them so the air would become toxic to us." Gohan says.

At that moment, the doctors evil laughter is heard.

"What the-" Goten says.

"The Tuffles long lasting grudge won't disappear so easily! Hatchiyack! Absorb my grudge and awaken to your perfect form." Dr. lychee voice says.

Soon, the light on the destroyed machine starts to flash and a green energy beam shines in the sky. Soon the pieces of the machine combine, causing the ground to shake and sky to change. Everyone is stunned by this.

"What power... I've never felt Ki like this." Gohan says.

Vegeta then turns to his daughter.

"Bulla! Get out of here, now!" Vegeta says.

Bulla is visibly scared, unable to move. Goten quickly stands infront of her and turns Super Saiyan two. Vegeta and Gohan also turn Super Saiyan two, while Trunks turns Super Saiyan. Purple lightning combines with the green energy and the machine Hatchiyack comes to life, with what appears to be a skin like substance that is pink while the armor that covers him in parts is red. He also has green oval shaped designs on his arms, chest and head that flickers with green energy.

"That machine... It transformed?" Goten asks.

Hatchiyack slowly walks forward, clenching his fist.

"Perish." the machine says.

In a blink of an eye, Hatchiyack punches Trunks in the gut, launching him through multiple trees.

"Trunks!" Both Goten and Vegeta yell.

Hatchiyack charges at the group.

"All Saiyans must die!" Hatchiyack says.

The machine punches Goten and Gohan in the face, slams Granolah into the ground and headbutts Vegeta, then kicks him away. When Hatchiyack turns his attention to a scared Bulla, Trunks slowly stands up to his feet, angry at the machines attack.

"You damn monster. Take this!" Trunks yells.

He fires a Ki blast into Hatchiyack, causing a massive explosion. When the smoke clears, there's not a scratch on Hatchiyack, shocking Trunks. The Machine turns around and smiles devilishly at the Saiyan.

"How is that even possible?" Trunks asks.

Hatchiyack charges up his energy, making the green ovals over his body glow bright green. Goten notices how massive this attack is going to be, causing him to fear for his bestfriends life.

"Trunks! Get out of the way!" Goten yells.

"REVENGE CANNON!" Hatchiyack yells, firing a massive Ki blast.

At the last possible moment, Trunks is pushed out of the way by Granolah, taking the full brunt of the blast.

When the smoke clears, Granolah left laying in a giant crater.

"Granolah!" Goten yells.

He and Trunks rush to the Cerealians side.

"Hey, Granolah, speak to me buddy, are you alright?" Goten asks.

Granolah slowly opens his eyes, turns to Trunks and smiles.

"I... owed you." Granolah says to Trunks.

He then passes out fully, out of the fight for now. The two boys then rush Hatchiyack after the machine knocks Gohan away. Goten throws a punch, but Hatchiyack easily moves behind him, punches Trunks in the face and grabs him by the face, slamming him into the ground. Goten goes for the attack again, but is punched in the gut with enough force to send him flying.

Trunks tries to throw a kick, but Hatchiyack easily catches his leg, slams him multiple times into the ground and throws across the ground. The unstoppable Machine flies into the air and fires another massive Ki blast.

Before the Ki blast could hit Trunks, another blast, fired by Vegeta, knocks it away. This annoys Hatchiyack as he fires another blast, hitting Vegeta.

"Dad!" Trunks and Bulla yell.

As Vegeta's body is smoking, blood dripping from his head, mouth, chest and arm, he tries to stay on his feet but soon drops to a knee. Hatchiyack then charges yet another Ki blast aiming for the injured Vegeta. An angry Trunks rushes foward, ignoring the consequences.

"No Trunks, stay back!" Vegeta yells.

Before the blast could be fired, Goten rushes in and kicks Hatchiyack in the face, drawing blood from his mouth and knocking him back. Goten soon notices something about Hatchiyack's energy.

"His Ki disappeared while he was defending." Goten thinks to himself.

Trunks and Gohan continue the attack, seeing the opening. The two throw fast strikes at the machine, but Hatchiyack easily avoids them all. The Machine then punches Gohan and elbows Trunks in the face. Hatchiyack follows up with multiple fast, and rapid punches into Trunks and Gohan's bodies.

As Gohan and Trunks fall to the ground, Hatchiyack turns his attention to Bulla again who is still stunned with fear. Goten quickly steps infront of her, with the two having an intense stare down.

"His power might be great... But-" Goten thinks to himself.

Goten then charges up at Hatchiyack, the two trading blows with each other. The machine throws a punch, but Goten quickly dodges, but afterwards Hatchiyack charges up for another blast.

"1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... 10...11... 12... 13... 14..." Goten counts in his head.

At that moment, Hatchiyack fires the Ki blast at him.

"15!" Goten yells.

He quickly dodges the blast, and preparing a strategy.

"Trunks! Gohan! Vegeta! Granolah!" Goten yells.

They all noticed what Goten is talking about, as they all slowly make it to their feet.

"Fifteen seconds." Gohan says.

They all nod, as Goten keeps the pressure on.

"I'll buy some time!" Goten yells.

Goten quickly dodges multiple Ki blasts, getting hit by one, but continues going after Hatchiyack. He soon gets close enough to throw a punch, but the machine flips over behind him and punches Goten in the face, knocking him into a tree, worrying Bulla.

"Goten!" She yells.

Goten slowly gets back to his feet, coughing up blood.

"N-No...Not yet!" Goten yells.

Goten charges at Hatchiyack, throwing an uppercut that misses. As the Saiyan goes head to head with the machine, the others are forced to watch as he is hit devastating blow. Trunks wants to help his friend, but is stopped by Vegeta.

"Restrain yourself, Trunks." Vegeta says.

Meanwhile, Goten is hit again and again but he continues to fight Hatchiyack on his own, not slowing down, even though his body wants to.

"We can't waste this chance Goten has bad for us." Gohan tells Trunks, who is visibly angry by this.

Goten quickly dodges a punch, puts his hand on Hatchiyack's head and flips over him. He looks up towards him and smirks, angering the Machine.

"DIE!" Hatchiyack yells, charging another Ki blast.

"Now!" Goten yells.

While Goten charges up his strongest Kamehameha and the others all charge up their strongest attacks, they all wait for fifteen seconds to fire the attack at Hatchiyack.

"GO!" Goten yells.

They all fire their strongest blasts, while Hatchiyack sends out a blast of his own, clashing with theirs. The two blast create shockwaves, creating a standstill between the two sides. Goten and the others soon put even more effort into their blast, soon pushing back Hatchiyack blast and over taking the machine, destroying it and Dr. lychee for good.

When the dust settles, Trunks, Goten, Gohan, Vegeta, and Granolah fall to the ground, exhausted from the fight they just had. Bulla quickly runs over to them, happy they managed to win.

"Are you guys alright?" Bulla asks.

Goten looks up and smiles, giving her a thumbs up with a smile. Everyone else smile, ending this battle for good.
