Goten Vs Granolah

Soon, Goten and Bulla arrive to where Trunks is. Trunks smirks at first but then sighs when he sees his sister's bags.

"Really? You couldn't take your bags home first?" Trunks asks

Bulla scowls.

"Shut up, and tell us what's going on." Bulla says.

Trunks sighs.

"I honestly can't tell you. One minute I was walking, the next I was surrounded by some rough looking guys. Then they turned into smoke when I dropped them." Trunks says.

Goten takes a look on the ground, seeing the residue left from the smoke. Meanwhile, miles from where they are standing, Granolah aims to shoot them.

"Bang." Granolah says as he shoots.

Goten looks over and sees a flash of light coming at him, his widen at how fast its coming for him.

"Look out!" Goten yells.

He barely dodges in time, getting his cheek scraped by the bullet like Ki blast. Multiple Ki blasts follow, as the three Saiyan's are barely able to dodge. They then fly up into the air, causing Bulla to drop her bags.

"Oh man." She says.

"These blasts are deadly accurate, I can barely dodge!" Trunks yells.

"Trace them to the source, that's the only way to find whoever is firing!" Goten yells back.

The two boys quickly powers up, as the Ki blasts pauses for a moment.

"It stopped?" Bulla asks.

"Expect more." Goten replies.

At that moment, they see a flash of light in the distance.

"There!" Goten yells.

The group of Saiyan's fly into the Ki blasts, dodging them while going to the source. Bulla can barely keep up however and gets hit in the shoulder, causing her to fall to the ground.

"Bulla!" Both Goten and Trunks yell.

Goten immediately flies after her at top speed, but Trunks gets hit in the back of the neck while he's distracted, dropping him from the sky, knocking him out. Goten catches Bulla, with worry in his eyes.

"Are you ok?" Goten asks.

Bulla clutches her shoulder.

"Yeah. It stings a bit, but I'll live." Bulla says.

Goten then looks over and sees Trunks falling towards the ground.

"Hang on!" Goten tells Bulla.

He then flies after Trunks at top speed, catching him by his leg and flying them both to safety, while avoiding the Ki blasts being fired. He soon makes it somewhere safe and puts them down safety.

"Is Trunks ok?" Bulla asks.

Goten checks on Trunks condition, seeing that he's still breathing.

"He's alive. Just knocked out."

As Bulla breathes a sigh of relief, Goten reaches over and puts his hand on the side of her face.

"Listen. I need you to stay with Trunks, keep you and him safe. Ok?" Goten says.

Bulla grabs Gotens hand.

"What about you?" Bulla asks.

Goten gets a serious look on his face.

"Just stay hidden. I'll be back as soon as I can." Goten says.

While Granolah waits, Goten rockets out of cover and directly at where Granolah is standing. Granolah fires multiple Ki blasts but Goten dodges them, then fires a blast of his own. Granolah quickly jumps out of the way, allowing Goten time to reach him, finally getting the chance to stand face to face with the sniper. The two have an intense standoff with each other.

"Ok, you got our attention. Who are you?" Goten asks

Granolah stands in silence for a moment.

"I am Granolah. The last of the Cerealians."

Goten is confused by this.

"Cerealians? I don't think I've ever heard of you guys." Goten says.

"You may not know us, but I know your kind all too well, Saiyan."

Goten is caught off guard by Granolah knowing that he's a Saiyan.

"So you have a grudge against Saiyan's?"

Granolah doesn't say anything and fires a pinpoint Ki blast right at Gotens head. Goten barely dodges in time, attempting to counter attack but Granolah has disappeared. Goten slowly walks through the woods, looking around his surroundings.

Granolah then leaps out with an attack aiming for the back of his neck. Goten barely dodges in time, being surprised how fast Granolah is. The sniper then flips into the air and throws a kick, but Goten blocks it. Granolah starts throwing multiple strikes, causing Goten to either block or dodge, barely being able to keep up.

Granolah then lands a strike with his finger tips into Gotens stomach. The young Saiyan slowly stumbles back, smirking at how fast Granolah is.

"Well, seems like you're not just good from long distances, you're pretty good up close and personal to-"

At that moment, Gotens eyes widen as he drops to a knee and coughs out blood. Bulla sees this and gets worried about Goten.

"Goten!" She yells.

Goten clutches his stomach, feeling the pain of that last attack, despite barely being hit by it.

"He hit a vital point? How is he learning my weaknesses so quickly?" Goten thinks to himself.

"You've been able to avoid most of my attacks quite well. However... even a flawless fighter cannot hide his vital points. I observed your blood flow and muscle movements, and I learned exactly where to strike." Granolah says.

Goten is surprised to hear this.

"Blood flow? You can see all that?" Goten asks.

"This right eye of mine is the sharpest in the universe. It sees all."

Goten smiles, standing to his feet.

"Wow, you really are amazing, Granolah. This should be a great fight." Goten says.

Granolah is confused for a moment, seeing a kind looking smile on the face of someone who he thinks is a blood thirsty monster. He soon just puts it off as the Saiyan trying to trick him.

"That's not all my eye can see. You're concealing your power, aren't you?" Granolah asks.

Goten is a little surprised by this.

"I don't know what you're up to, but you really don't have the luxury of holding back. Today is the day, you Saiyans pay for your crimes against the Cerealians."

Goten gets a serious look on his face.

"I don't know what happened between you and the Saiyan's. But if you want a fight, then so be it."

Goten then starts charging up his Ki, causing the ground to shake, surprising Granolah a bit. His eyes soon turns green, and his hair becomes spiky and golden, going Super Saiyan.

"Golden hair? What happened to the great ape transformation you people are known for?" Granolah asks.

Goten chuckles.

"We can't achieve that transformation anymore. This is called Super Saiyan." Goten says.

Granolah scoffs, taking a fighting stance.

"I couldn't careless what this form is called. The outcome will be the same." Granolah says.

Goten smirks, taking a fighting stance of his own.

"We'll just see about that." He replies.

Meanwhile, Vegeta flies to where the fight is happening.

"Seems Goten is engaging the enemy. I have a bad feeling about this." Vegeta thinks

At that moment, he is joined by Gohan.

"Hey Vegeta. I'm guessing you've picked up on the stuff happening too, huh?" Gohan asks.

"Yes. Someone's definitely leading us in a trap. Stay on your guard." Vegeta says.

"Right." Gohan answers.

Meanwhile, Dr. lychee secretly watches them while his machine produces a large amount of smoke.
