Goten Vs Beerus

Three months later, on Beerus's planet, Lord Beerus wakes up from a nap as Whis enters the room.

"Lord Beerus. It's time." Whis says.

Beerus yawns then smiles.

"Finally." Beerus says.

Meanwhile on Earth, Goten sits alone meditating as powerful Ki starts radiating around his body. After finally adapting to the God Ki, he has fully mastered it and made it his own. At that moment Elder Kai enters the room with a smirk.

"It's time, kid." Elder Kai says.

Goten opens his eyes and smiles, jumping to his feet and cracking his knuckles.

"Let's go."

When Goten walks outside, he is met by all of his loved ones. The Saiyan smiles, then starts to walk, as Krillin pats him on the back.

"Go get him, Goten!" Krillin says.

"You got this." Lazuli says.

"Kick his butt!" Marron yells.

He then gets a pat on the back by Piccolo.

"Give it your all." Piccolo says.

Goten nods, then Gohan puts his hand on his shoulder.

"Goodluck, little brother."

"Goodluck, Goten!" Pan and Vidal say.

Goten is then met by Vegeta.

"Show him what a Saiyan Warrior is truly capable of." Vegeta says.

Goten silently agrees, then gets approached by Trunks.

"Make sure you win and save the earth, I have a date Tuesday." Trunks says.

The two chuckle and share a high five. Goten looks over and sees his mother with a worried look on her face. He holds her hands with a smile to reassure her. Chichi then hugs her younger son.

"Just make it back to me in one piece." Chichi says.

Goten smiles.

"You got it." Goten says.

Goten then looks at Bulla and the two share a kiss before a flash of light comes down from the sky. Goten looks over with a serious expression on his face, seeing Beerus and Whis standing across from him. Goten steps foward while Beerus smirks at him.

"I'm impressed that you're still alive. No mortal has ever survived the process of receiving God Ki. So, have you become the Saiyan God?" Beerus asks.

Goten smirks, then closes his eyes as blue energy starts to surround his entire body. As the energy soon fades, Goten emerges from the energy with red hair and eyes, becoming a Saiyan God.

"Are you pleased, Lord Beerus? It seems like his efforts have been successful."

Beerus smiles at the young Saiyan.

"Very. Are you ready, Son Goten?" Beerus asks.

Goten looks at Beerus with a focused stare.

"Yeah, as long as you keep your word."

"Of course, if you can beat me in combat, I'll happily do you the favor of not destroying this planet."

Goten nods.

"In that case, I can't afford to loose here." Goten replies.

Whis then turns to the others.

"Alright everyone, things are about to get dangerous. You all should probably give these two some space."

Everyone then start to move to a safe distance, except for Bulla who waits there staring at Goten for a moment longer. Goten looks over at her and gives her a wink and a smile. Bulla slightly smiles back, then flies away to safety like the others. Goten then turns his attention back to Beerus and the two have an intense stare down. After a few moments pass, the God Ki inside Goten starts to calmly surge around his body. Meanwhile, in other world, Goku, Bardock, Raditz, Gine, and King Kai watch the fight.

"Becareful, grandson." Gine says.

Bardock smirks.

"Don't worry, Gine, now that the kids a God himself, he's gonna wipe the floor with Beerus." Bardock says.

"I'm afraid it's not that simple. Even amongst other God's, Lord Beerus is in a league of his own. Goten still has an incredible challenge infront of him." King Kai says.

Goku stays silent for a moment, paying close attention to the battle between his son and Beerus.

"You got this, Goten." He thinks to himself.

Back to the fight, the two fighters slowly start to walk towards each other. When they get close to each other, suddenly, Beerus starts falling to the ground, shocking everyone. The God of Destruction stops himself while he was inches away from hitting the ground, with a smile on his face.

"Well damn. I can't remember the last time anyone took me down like this." Beerus says.

Meanwhile, everyone is confused by this while Elder Kai smiles.

"What just happened? Beerus just suddenly fell down." Bulma says.

"He almost landed flat on his face. Did he trip?" Krillin asks.

Whis then chimes in.

"I believe I can answer that."

He then uses his staff to replay what happened in slow motion. As the two were walking towards each other, Goten landed a clean punch to Beerus's jaw, knocking him out for a few seconds.

"Wow, it was so fast that none of us saw it. What incredible speed." Piccolo says.

Vegeta then smirks.

"You little punk. So young and you're already there." Vegeta thinks to himself.

Beerus fully stands to his feet.

"Well done, kid. I knew since the very beginning that this fight would be more fun than I expected. However, I still never would've imagined that a mortal would be capable of the stunt that you just pulled. You only had a literal second to act, or else I would've attacked you first."

"I can't afford to loose this fight, Lord Beerus. So you better not hold back, cause I won't hesitate to drop you where you stand if I see an opening." Goten says.

Beerus chuckles.

"Very well, I guess we're skipping the warm ups."

At that moment Lord Beerus vanishes, surprising Goten.

"What? Where did he-"

At that moment, Goten turns around and sees Beerus behind him preparing a punch. Goten doesn't have time to dodge, so puts up his guard to block. The punch connects, sending Goten flying. The young Saiyan quickly recovers, launching at Beerus at top speed, throwing a punch of his own. Beerus catches Gotens punch with one hand, sending out powerful shockwaves that causes the clouds to split apart and a small crater to form around them.

"So tell me, how does it feel becoming a God?" Beerus asks.

"It was a painful process. But it's incredible." Goten says.

Beerus smiles as the two pull back from each other.

"It surprises you. It's hard to imagine what you can do now." Beerus says.

The two then fly up into the air to continue their battle. As they make it to the sky, Beerus throws a cyclone kick that Goten blocks. Goten tries to answer back with a punch but Beerus dodges. The two start throwing fast paced strikes at each other, both either blocking or dodging the other. Beerus then lands a headbutt that sends Goten flying towards the city. Goten barely avoids crashing into a building full of people as Beerus flies straight at him with great speed. Goten flies away, trying to take the fight away from innocent people, but Beerus keeps on the attack. The God of Destruction throws vicious strikes at Goten, but Goten is able to dodge one and land a kick that is able to send Beerus above the city. Beerus then starts to laugh.

"Yes! It's incredible how fast you were able to adapt to God Ki."

He then notices the smile on Gotens face.

"You're enjoying this fight as much as I am, aren't you, kid?" Beerus asks.

Goten smile gets even bigger.

"Yeah, I am."
