Gohan Meets The Reappear

Gohan stands across from the Grim Reappear of the Demon Realm, who has a smile on his face. Shroom starts laugh out of excitement.

"You know... it's been awhile since I let loose. It's always a pleasure to find out the names of my victims." Shroom says.

Gohan stares at his opponent in silence.

"The names Shroom. What's yours?"

Gohan doesn't answer the question, causing Shroom to chuckle.

"Fine. An unmarked grave it is!"

Shroom charges at Gohan, who immediately putting up his guard. The Saiyan dodges the scythe, barely being able to keep up with Shroom. Gohan gets cut on his chin, but he quickly responds with a spinning back elbow to the side of his face. He then grabs the scythe, drives his knee through it and into his gut, knocking him back.

When Gohan throws the broken scythe to the ground, causing Shroom to sigh.

"Oh man, I liked that scythe. Oh well, I guess it's time for hand to hand combat." Shroom says.

Gohan then charges in with a punch, but Shroom quickly sidesteps him. He throws another punch, with Shroom again dodging, dipping to the ground and throwing a kick at the Saiyan's head. Gohan avoids the kick as the two gain distance from each other.

While the two have another stare down, Shroom has a big smile on his face.

"He's definitely a lot stronger than I thought. I can't loose too much energy, I want to fight more strong guys like him." Shroom thinks for himself.

"His speed is amazingly dangerous. I can't afford any missteps." Gohan thinks to himself.

The two then charge at each other, throwing fast paced strikes at each other, both fighters either blocking or dodging each other. Gohan quickly avoids a kick, then lands a powerful punch to the side of Shrooms face, sending him flying into a building.

"Ka- Me- Ha- Me-"

As Shroom is knocked off balance, Gohan appears infront of him with a large Kamehameha charged and ready to fire.

"Ha!"

Gohan fires the Kamehameha, landing it right into Shroom. Shockingly, Shroom easily takes it head on, knocking it out of the way. As Gohan is shocked, Shroom lands a devastating gut punch on him, causing blood to drip from his mouth. He then lands a powerful punch to the side of Gohan's jaw, sending him flying. Shroom quickly flies above Gohan and sends him back towards the ground with another punch, causing him to crash through a car.

While Gohan is down, Shroom fires a destructive Ki blast, destroying a city block. Gohan drops out of Super Saiyan, almost unconscious while Shroom looks disappointed at the Saiyan.

"Oh come on. Is it really over already? Oh well, guess I go find the short one. He seemed pretty strong."

As Shroom prepares to walk away, a bright light appears behind him. The Grim Reappear turns around and sees Gohan on his feet, now a Super Saiyan two. A big Smile appears on Shrooms face.

"I knew it. I knew you weren't done yet."

"This... Is my full power." Gohan says.

"So you were holding out on me, huh? Shame on you." Shroom says.

The two then charge at each other, clashing punches that causes a Shockwave that shatters glass. Shroom quickly throws a flurry of punches, but Gohan easily dodges the punches. He then drops down and sweeps his legs from under him, but Shroom flips onto his feet and throws a roundhouse at Gohan's head. Gohan dodges the kick and lands a cyclone kick to his ribs, sending him flying.

As Shroom recovers his footing, Gohan fires a massive Ki blast at him. The Grim Reappear plants his feet and puts his hands up to stop the blast, struggling to keep it at bay. He struggles to hold it for a moment, before soon disbursing it with a blast of his own. Shroom tries to fire a Ki blast at Gohan, but he's too fast, grabbing him by the arm and throwing him across a city block, into a building. Before Shroom can recover, Gohan flies in and drop kicks him through the other side of the building.

Gohan tries to continue the assault, but Shroom quickly recovers and lands a punch into the Saiyan's face. Gohan eats the punch, and throws one of his own, Knocking him to the ground. Shroom lands on his feet and fires a Ki blast up at Gohan. The Saiyan flies down at the Ki Blast, grabs it with one hand and throws it back at Shroom.

Shroom tries to block, but gets caught in a massive explosion. The Reappear has taken damage from the blast, but is still on his feet. At that moment, he sees a bright light appearing behind him. He turns around and sees Gohan charging up a massive Ki blast.

"MASENKO-HA!" Gohan yells, hitting Shroom head on.

When the smoke clears, Gohan is standing over a defeated Shroom, who has a satisfied smile on his face. Gohan drops down to his base form, seeing the smile and being reminded of his father's love of fighting.

"Not bad, kid. Thanks for the fight. It's been awhile since I got my ass kicked." Shroom says.

Gohan kneels down.

"You don't seem like that bad of a guy. Why are you working with someone like Demigra?" Gohan asks.

Shroom stays silent for a moment.

"It's not really hard. I enjoy a good fight, so I joined him. I don't care about world domination, as long as I get to fight like this then it makes no difference with me." Shroom says.

Gohan smirks.

"You know, you sound a lot like a Saiyan." Gohan says.

Shroom laughs through pain.

"A Saiyan, huh? Guess I'll take that as a compliment." Shroom replies.

Soon Shroom passes out, and Gohan stands up, sensing the nearby energy.

"Looks like Vegeta and Bulla have won their fights. Vegeta's going after Demigra and that other guy." Gohan says.

He then feels Trunks energy and is shocked.

"Trunks energy is dropping fast. He needs help, I gotta move." Gohan says, taking off as fast as he can.
