Bulla's Big Test

Bulla and Towa have an intense standoff between eachother.

"Are you just gonna stare at me, lady?"

Towa sighs.

"Oh so young. So foolish."

Towa sends out two fast Ki blasts out that Bulla goes to block, but is confused when the Ki blast miss, creating smoke around her. After a few moments pass, Towa appears behind her, causing her to be surprised. Bulla quickly throws a punch, but Towa uses a form of the After Image Technique, avoiding the punch.

Towa then comes from the side of her, jumping into the air, preparing to dropkick her. While in mid, Towa smirks at a caught off guard Bulla.

"Too slow." Towa says.

She then kicks Bulla, sending her flying. Bulla quickly stops herself to catch her breath.

"She packs one hell of a punch, I'll give her that." Bulla thinks.

The female Saiyan then notices that she is still surrounded by smoke, despite being sent flying by the kick.

"Somethings wrong." Bulla's thinks.

Outside of the smoke Towa devilishly smirks as she creates red Ki blades in her hand.

"It's just smoke. I should get out before she uses it to her advantage." Bulla says.

As she tries to fly out of the smoke, a red Ki blade comes at her with incredible speed, piercing through her armor, cutting her arm. Bulla falls backwards, while blood drips down her arm.

"Do you really think I'll let you? You'll never see the light of day again." Towa says.

Bulla quickly regains her balance, landing on her feet while clutching her arm. Her suit then uses nanotechnology to reform itself back on her arm.

"Damn." Bulla thinks while gritting her teeth.

Before she can have another thought, a dozen more Ki blades are launched at her with great speed. Bulla is surprised by this, but dodges them, quickly maneuvering around them with great difficulty. She quickly creates a shield using her suit, but it is easily destroyed, and she gets cut on her arm and legs. This angers Bulla as she let's out a loud scream.

"That's it!"

She powers up her Ki, trying to blow the smoke away but it reforms around her as quickly as it disappeared. Bulla is shocked by this, dropping to her knees in despair while Towa's laughs are heard.

"That was a nice try. But not good enough. That's what I like to call a waste of energy. Still, I can't say this has been boring for me." Towa says.

Bulla tries to figure out a way out of the smoke but can't even come up with a single plan. She tries to calm down, but is too panicked. She then remembers something that happened with Goten awhile back.

Weeks ago, as Goten and Bulla walk with each other, Bulla talks with a few friends that all are obviously not as smart as Bulla. Goten notices that Bulla is acting as dim as they are, talking about clothes and shoes.

When the girls leaves, Goten ask Bulla a question.

"Why do you act like that around those girls?" Goten asks.

This question surprises Bulla.

"What do you mean?" Bulla asks.

Goten gives Bulla a reassuring smile.

"It's ok to be smart, Bulla. I wish I was as smart as you are." Goten says.

Bulla sighs.

"It's not that easy. I'm not like anyone. I'm not like those girls, and I'm not like my dad, Trunks are you. I'm not like anyone."

"Then don't be like anyone. Just be you. "

As Goten continues to walk, Bulla smiles and blushes.

Back to present day, Bulla has a determined look on her face.

"Think Bulla...You got this." Bulla says.

She stands to her feet and quickly puts up a barrier. She then uses her suit to analyze the smoke around her.

"The smoke isn't toxic, but it doesn't allow me to see or sense her." Bulla says.

After a few seconds of thinking, Bulla finally knows what's going on.

"The smoke is made from your energy, right? That's why I can't sense you or the blades." Bulla asks.

Towa chuckles.

"Your power may be mediocre. But your intellect is remarkable. Now what do you plan on doing about it? No one has lived long enough to counter it." Towa says, sending out more blades.

As more blades hit her barrier, she struggles to keep it up.

"I can't keep this up for long. But, if I try to escape she'll pin me down. What's frightening about her is her accuracy."

Bulla then gets an idea.

"Wait, can she see me through the smoke? Or can she sense my energy?"

Towa waits for Bulla to make a movie, seeing sensing her energy leaving the Barrier. Towa smirks, sending out a Ki blade that hits her target but still confuses her.

"That's odd. No scream. No blood."

Towa then realizes what's going on.

"Damn. A decoy." Towa says.

She then sees that Bulla has created multiple Ki decoys as a distraction. This annoys Towa, feeling as if Bulla is insulting her intelligence.

"Let me show you how pathetic you are!"

Towa sends out multiple Ki blades, destroying the decoys one by one. This causes Bulla to smile.

"It's working." Bulla thinks to herself.

She then notices that Towa's blades are coming from one direction. She then smirks, ready to act.

"I got her now." She thinks.

Bulla then flies towards the direction of the blades. She avoids being hit by the blades, this time anticipating where they are coming from next. Towa quickly throws one more Ki blade as Bulla makes it out of the smoke. The blade cuts Bulla's cheek, but doesn't stop her at all.

"Your mine." Bulla says.

The female Saiyan then lands a powerful punch right into Towa's face, knocking her into the side of an empty building. While Towa is stuck in the side of the building, Bulla charges up her energy, and prepares a massive Ki blast. Towa gets afraid of this, quickly putting up a barrier of her own.

"FINAL! FLASH!" Bulla yells, firing a Ki blast that destroys the barrier and hits Towa head on.

Bulla slowly falls to the ground, both her and her suit being out of energy. She soon drops out of Super Saiyan and falls to her knees with a big smile.

"It's... over. I-I did it." She thinks to herself, falling unconscious on her face.
