Talk with Korin

Climbing up the tower was easy for me, and provided no real challenge. Though once I made it to the top I saw no signs of The Cat Master Korin.

"Hello? Anyone here?"

I walked around a bit looking at the various items on the Korin's look out. i wonder over to what I knew were three pots that could show the past the present and the future. When I opened the one that showed the past I saw nothing but darkness, and a swirling golden light. The present showed Goku, he was training under Kami on the lookout, he looked like he did at the very end of the original dragon ball series. When I opened the pot for the future it showed me at the tournament where Goku and Piccolo would conduct there battle for the fate of the world. So I was somewhere just before the 23rd martial arts tournament.

"The Future is often messy, it seems new threats are born everyday."

I turned to see Korin, he was really was a fuzzy cat. As expected though he stood pretty firm, despite me being a complete stranger.

"I assume you understand I want a few thing from you."

"A few the only thing one would want is the divine water, strange that you ask for more than that."

"We both know there is much more value here than just the divine water. I want to start a farm of senzu beans, not to mention the divine water and ultra divine water are obvious desires. Finally I would like you to teach me how to make the things you do."

Korin had opened his eyes, like actually open them. I don't think he has ever done that before. It was so strange to me that he had opened his eyes I had heard what he said at first.

"That is a first... Almost everyone has asked to become stronger, everyone seeks strength or power. Not once has anyone came to me for knowledge. This is unexpected."

"So you will you help me?"

He took a second to pause and closed his eyes before answering.

"No."

I blinked, "What?"

"Prove to me that you are on the side of earth and then I shall help you, you can do that by helping against Piccolo Junior. You have the power to deal with him easily and as much as I am impressed by be the first to ask me about making things. I can also see that your blocked by your desires, you may have gained control of your power, but you did not gain control of yourself. You found peace of mind, but not peace of heart. Can you say your heart is pure, that you truly seek the best intentions? While you wait for the tournament, take time and plan a future here on earth. I've seen a bit of your future and I can say you are both earths greatest ally and its worst calamity."

That was certainly interesting answer, it made sense though. I planned on sparing multiple villains using the evil rending wave, though how many would I actually use it on was unclear. It would be the same as what Goku did many times over. He even would've caused the end of multiple universes later on when he set up the tournament of power. If Universe hadn't wished everyone back Goku would've basically killed entire universes billions to trillions of residents on multiple different planets reaching into uncountable numbers.

Looking back at Korin, "I trained under 300x gravity, but my actual growth was limited. Do you know if the Ultra divine water would unlock the stunted growth?"

He rubbed at his chin and nodded.

"Depends on what caused the limitation, do you mind telling me?"

"My theory is that due to my species and modifications on myself put some kind of limit on me. My species is something known as a Tuffle they evolve on a planet with very high gravity, then I also placed machinery into my body, its wired into me biologically but ultimately it is like a metal bone replacement. I can't fix that until later, but for now I imagine it is poisoning my potential in someway."

"Well...I am not sure about how it would affect a Tuffle as only one person has ever survived the ultra divine water, it's basically a poison. The machinery you added to yourself would most definitely cause problems. After all to my understanding of electronics they don't mix with liquids. The way Ultra divine water would work would mostly affect those modifications, causing damage to them and yourself. Knowing this do you still want it later?"

"yes, I can research it and make potential products from them, maybe I can create something like the senzu beans from that knowledge."

"Very well, why don't you head up to the top of the lookout. Perhaps you could train with Goku, or more likely ask your questions to Kame. Not like I could stop you heading up there anyway, if you knew about the ultra divine water it would make sense you know about Kame as well."

"I was going up there next, though your permission does make it easier. Don't you have a bell to give me or something."
