Chapter 4

'How is it that I, who is a 4 ringed spirit elder, was suppressed by this mere kid,Even if it was just for a moment!.' The soul master thought to himself, shocked beyond belief with what he just witnessed.

'This needs to be reported to the spirit pagoda as soon as possible.' The spirit master made a mental note to assure himself about reporting this fact.

Long Yuan suddenly started to feel dizzy. He tried to clear his mind to not give in and was trying his best to stay awake.

"Kid, Congratulations your Martial soul contains soul power and its rank 8 innate soul power. It's really amazing you can make it to the apex of Douluo Dalu if you work enough." The soul master said, amazed with what he was witnessing.

"Yeah, Thank you for helping me awaken." Long yuan said while slightly bowing and paying his respects to the soul master.

Long Yuan soon made his way out of the Awakening chamber and he noticed a middle aged man walking up and down the streets anxiously. The man on noticing Long Yuan walked towards him as fast as he could.

"Yuan'er what happened in there? Why do you look so pale?!?!." The man asked while holding his chest to catch his breath.

"Father, it seems like I have soul power." Long Yuan said while feeling extremely content and elated.

"That's amazing!! We need to get home as fast as we can to tell your mother of this wonderful news." Lin Tian said feeling the tension leave his body and moreover he wanted to let his wife know of this news right this instant!!!.

Lin Tian drove to their home excited to see his wife's reaction.Glorybound city was not too big and they reached their mansion pretty quickly on the way however Lin Tian noticed that Long Yuan fell asleep. He slowly picked his son up from their car and got into his mansion while holding his son in his arms.

"Honey!!, What happened to Yuan'er!!" Mei gong asked , she felt really nervous and a bit upset about the fact that her husband had not called her to inform how the awakening ceremony went and seeing her son lying unconscious on her husbands arms did not make her feel better.

"Shhhh- It's nothing Mei, He is just asleep. He awakened his martial soul and it also has soul power." Lin Tian replied to his wife with the lowest sound he could muster.

"That's Awesome!!!!!!!!!!" Mei gong bumped her fists up, also trying to stay quiet to not wake up her sleeping son.

Lin Tian then slowly made his way to his son's room and laid him down on his bed there.

"Our Yuan'er looks cute even while he is sleeping!!" Mei Gong said while fawning all over her son.

"Mei let's leave our son alone for a while, he needs to get some rest." Lin Tian said with a serious look in his eyes.

"Hmph, Also you still did not tell me about what his martial soul is and what rank his innate soul power is." Mei gong replied with a small pout.

"Let's go to our room and talk about it." Lin Tian smiled slightly and left for their room. Mei gong soon noticed that her husband was hiding something and took after him after closing the door to her son's room.

After awakening his martial soul Long Yuan was feeling more and more agitated and pained.He fell asleep as soon as he got into his father's car.

White and black lines soon spread throughout his whole body starting from his forehead to all other limbs and toes. On closer inspection we could notice a black and white spear mark had appeared on his forehead which seemed to be from where these lines originated.

Long Yuan at that time was dreaming about a realm filled with the colours black and white. And further away from where he was he could notice two dragons roaring while facing the heavens seemingly in pain. They did not notice his existence. Suddenly both of the dragons looked at Long Yuan with their piercing gaze.

"Ahhh-" Long Yuan exclaimed while holding his chest tightly, waking up from his dream he looked at the clock which was placed near his bed.

"Huh it's dinner time already?!" Long Yuan soon got up from his bed and made his way to his bathroom to take a much needed shower after a long day though he didn't feel like much time had passed.

While he was taking a shower, Long Yuan could notice that a lot of black particles were leaving his body and left his body with a good odour. He didn't notice that his meridians became more pure. Though he did notice that his body got strengthened a bit.

"I did not know that people could get this dirty after awakening their Martial soul." Long Yuan said while sighing innocently.

After wearing some clothes he went to greet his parents and also to ask them if they felt proud about him awakening as a soul master.

"Oh did you have a good sleep Yuan'er." Mei Gong asked her son while showing a kind smile.

"Yeah, I feel refreshed." Long Yuan replied smiling innocently to his mother.

"Yuan'er, I'm a bit curious to know what Martial soul you awakened and what its called. I got to know it is a Tool Type Martial soul from the staff at Red Mountain Academy. Though they also told me that they did not know what your Martial soul is called."

"Grrrrrrr-" Long Yuan's stomach growled

"Err- . Father,I'm a bit hungry right now" Long Yuan replied while smiling sheepishly trying to hide how embarrassed he was.

"Mother will make you the most tastiest dinner you have ever had Yuan'er!" Mei gong replied enthusiastically while sending a sharp look towards Lin Tian to indicate that they should save the talking for later.

"Lets see what the best chef in the Douluo continent is capable of" Lin Tian replied in a provocative tone while smiling.

Long Yuan smiled seeing his parents so lively at this time of the day.
