Chapter 37 — Third spirit ring (1)

Yu Long closed his eyes in delight as he sat inside the pool of hot water with his entire body getting relaxed as the hot water massage his body.

The uncomfortable ache also slowly disappeared as he bathe in the hot water.

Yu Long opened his eyes and then frowned seeing Fang Lin who was constantly staring and listening carefully toward the female hot spring.

A disgusting smile was etched his face.

Yu Long splashed the hot water toward Fang Lin's face.

"Fatty, didn't they tell you not to peek," Yu Long said looking at Fang Lin slightly red face due to the hot water.

Fang Lin flinched, then nodded at Yu Long's word and decided to relax his whole body under the water.

The hot spring water effect was truly good.

Yu Long then spent two days relaxing inside the Hot Spring Inn, but he decided to end this vacation. He was gonna go to the Star Dou Forest to get his third spirit ring and he might also awakend Luna after getting it.

Luna said she was gonna go into a deep slumber for a while, but she hasn't woke up even after two years.

Yu Long went toward Lou Shi who was spending her time with her husband, Lou Yue.

He asked for Lou Shi's permission to go out and get his third spirit ring in the star dou forest.

Lou Shi quickly agreed and asked if Yu Long wanted her husband to accompany him. Yu Long immediately declined since he didn't wanted to bother them when he can get his own spirit ring fairly easily.

Yu Long had also wanted to get his third spirit alone to test his strength and he was also wary that another peculiar event might happened.

He quickly prepared his basic stuff for his journey toward the Star Dou Great Forest after getting Lou Shi permission.

Xiao Yi wanted to joined Yu Long, but he refused her. He wanted Xiao Yi to have a nice rest.

Xiao Yi could only pout seeing Yu Long reject her.

Yu Long then arrived infront of the Star Dou Forest entrance after travelling for hours. He paid the entrance fee and immediately went toward the inner area of the forest to find a suitable yet formidable spirit beast for himself.

He knew that he could absorbed a 10,000 years old spirit beast as his third spirit ring with his strong body, spiritual strength, and soul suppression.

The soul suppression was also the might that his <Cosmic Regulus> released and was the reason for the spirit rings becoming obedient and scared.

Yu Long travelled the inner area of the forest while suppressing his presence and energy signs using his <Star Vigor> and <Star Spirit Power> to avoid being detected.

He had to become careful and cautious when traveling the inner area of the forest.

Yu Long looked around the forest for a suitable spirit ring, but without Xiao Yi's luck with him, he was not able to find a suitable spirit beast for hours.

He quite regretted not bringing Xiao Yi along with him. But what has been done has been done. He should focus on the present for now.

Yu Long then managed to find a large and long brown snake with a large horn on it's forehead and also had some grass covering it's scale.

He immediately knew what the spirit beast is called thanks to his YUwiki or then library of information inside his mind.

The brown grass snake was a variation and was superior than a normal grass snake and also seems to be near the age of 9,135.

Yu Long thought it was suitable for his <Cosmic Nature Tree> to be absorbed.

Yu Long summoned both of his martial soul at the same time. Using the feeling that he remembered when he first used his spirits at the same time, he practiced with it to get used to it.

A illusionary silver and crimson lion followed Yu Long figure.

Under the force of his strong body which was also enhanced by his two energies and spirit ability, pierced deeply inside the brown snake head.

The brown snake hissed in pain, it's whole body released a bright green light and brown light.

A green light covered Yu Long's surrounding in an enclosed dome.

Yu Long was surprised seeing this.

The many towering trees that surrounded him disappeared and only a large brown tree can be seen in the center of the dome. Several roots, grass, vines, and flower flourished and spread inside the dome.

Yu Long felt he was now trapped inside a domain that blocked the real world.

His <Spiritual Strength> tingled as he jumped and the brown snake appeared beneath the ground.

It's mouth were opened fereciously, revealing it's razor sharp teeth.

Yu Long legs were stopping the snake moutn from closing as he didn't want to fall inside the snake mouth.

Yu Long looked inside the snake mouth and smelled the pungent smell coming out from it.

An idea crossed his mind as a smile grew on his face.

Yu Long used his <Cosmic Regulus> second spirit ability.

He pointed his spear head that was burning in bright crimson and silver flame, toward inside the snake mouth.

"Grow!"

The spear suddenly grew longer and pierced the snake inside it's throat.

"Scatter..." Yu Long said quietly as the snake tried to close it's mouth strongly.

The spear grew longer as wooden spikes grew from it's tip and shaft, creating hundreds of wooden spikes piercing out from the insides of the snake.

"...and explode into flames."

A crimson silver flames spread with the wood spikes as a medium throughout the snake's body setting it ablaze as it spasmed violently.

The brown snake released a miserable cry as it's body was pierced and roasted. The snake died with it's body burned charcoal black.

A large dark purple ring condensed at the top of it's body.

Yu Long then saw the mysterious domain disappearing after the brown snake died. He sat on the ground to absorbed the dark purple ring.

With his soul suppression, Star Vigor, Star Spirit Power, and massive spiritual strength, Yu Long managed to completely absorbed the purple spirit ring in just a few minutes.

Yu Long felt his body and mind growing stronger due to the nourishment of the purple spirit ring. He also felt his <Star Spirit Power> breaking through the invisible barrier and he advanced toward the rank 33.

Three shining purple spirit rings appeared behind Yu Long back. The three spirit rings then disappeared, replaced by two silver and crimson silver rings.

A large, mighty silver muscular lion with blazing crimson mane appeared behind Yu Long back with it's tall and prideful nuzzle pointing toward the sky illuminated in silver and crimson color.

All the people near the Star Dou Forest was shocked. This event had also happened two times before, but everyone didn't know what was happening.

They could only call this phenomenon as 'Crimson Silver Light Judgement'.

A third silver and crimson silver spirit ring was also condensing next to the two rings.

Silver and crimson lines appeared everywhere on Yu Long's body releasing a radiant luster.

Yu Long eyes became blank as it lost it's star-like glow. He found himself again inside the dark dimension.

A tall man releasing a hazy black smoke from all over his body was standing infront of him while holding a black spear.

A long black spear also appeared before Yu Long's eyes. He reached toward it and held it with his arms.

He felt the spear was like his long lost limb.

A small smile crept unto his face. A crimson lightning flickered across his eyes.

The white hallowed eyes of the black man released a terrifying red light.

Boom!

The two immediately appeared infront of each other with a menacing bloodthirsty smile reflecting each other.
