Chapter 23 The Auction (Part 3) Final

Hostess " Our next item is a set of earrings with four in total they were found in a set of ruins from over 20 years ago, it took our craftsman 2 months to repair them. "

While the hostess spoke another man carried towards the stand. When he finally reached the stand he placed the container down and opened it and what was seen were 4 sets of beautiful earrings in green, blue, black, and red they were very well done.

Hostess "As you can see they are exceptionally beautiful and so the starting price will be 10 gold let the bidding begin."

As soon as she finished a yell was heard that stopped most people in their tracks.

??? "100 gold!!."

Hearing the shout the audience sighed and cursed quietly blaming their luck and lack of money, this certainly wasn't the first time they heard this voice

Audience member "dammit again"

Audience member "fuck there goes that item"

Audience member "let someone else win for once"

Audience "sorry dear looks like I won't be able to get it"

As all of the audience were complaining there was one person celebrating and that person was, of course, the winner of the earrings

Arata "I got them hehe"

Yes it was our very own Arata who shouted was anyone surprised who knows but if we ask the audience then I say no as this wasn't the only time this had occurred this was just one of many times that Arata or the other girls bought something. In reality, they had bought more than 20+ items already and there have only been about 50 items so far so you can imagine how the audience feels.

Sasaki "yes it looks like nobody else wants to bid for it lucky you"

Yōumêi "haha yeah right like anyone would bid against Arata just her alone spent more than all of us combined"

Zhuqing and Jiāngù nodded as it was true. Arata by herself easily spent more than 10k from overbidding.

Arata "hehe it's fine right Silver"

Arata said while turning to Silver who was chugging down a large jug of wine. Hearing his name Silver put down the jug and let out a burp.

Silver "burrp whatchu want? I'm drinking"

Zhuqing "is it alright to spend so much money"

Silver laughed "is that all yeah I don't give a damn go crazy and have fun now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go raid the food."

Silver said well going towards the food to eat while everyone but Madara watched speaking of said person he's currently sitting down with his eyes closed like normal waiting for something to catch his interest.

Arata "told you so don't worry and keep buying"

While they continued to talk the hostess announced the winner who was, of course, Arata after moving the item the auction went on.

20 minutes later

Sasaki "Madara do plan on buying anything"

Sasaki asked while looking at Madara a who so far hasn't shown any interest in the items so far. Madara hearing Sasaki opens his eyes and as he was about to answer Sasaki he was stopped as the next item caught his attention

Hostess "ladies and gentleman we finally hit the 75th item from here on all the merchandise will be 10,000 gold and above so be prepared now than to start it off we have our first slave"

The hostess spoke loudly as a boy who looked younger than 16 was brought out. The boy was neither overly handsome nor ugly he had a square jaw bright golden eyes and said like eyebrows when he grows up he definitely look like a warrior.

Hostess "As you can see he's quite young only 12 years old he came from a medium-sized clan but was disowned by his family and was kicked out from the clan from the information we received his spirit is a bow and he's currently a rank 19 spirit master quite a genius if I do say so myself. He can be used as a simple slave or trained into a bodyguard your choice so let's begin the starting price is 10,000 gold"

This time it was the VIP section that went into full bidding mode as this type of slave was quite good soon the price had already reached 13k and still going. But while they were bidding Madara was observing the bit with his Sharingan.

Madara 'For someone who's being sold as a slave he has no fear interesting'

Silver sighed as he knew Madara would buy a slave he just didn't know which one.

Hearing Silver Madara smirked and made his bud

Madara " I bid 100,000 gold!"

The entire auction room froze from Madaras bid

Hostess 1-1-100,000 g-going once twice sold"

Audience member "seriously that's a crazy amount"

Audience member "who the hell is this guy first it was that girl now him damn"

As the audience slowly recovered Madara made his way out to have a talk with his new teammate and to find out his name.
