CHAPTER 36

He opened the door and was surprised to see his right-hand man, Rocco, on the other side. Rocco entered the hotel suite where Vittorio and Ellis were staying, holding a yellow envelope. He respectfully bowed before Vittorio and handed him the envelope.

"Don Vittorio, here's the updated marriage contract. It still needs your signature, but I think it's better if you read it first," Rocco said, remaining motionless in front of Vittorio.

Vittorio looked at the envelope and frowned.

"Can't it wait until tomorrow, Rocco? Ellis is changing in the bathroom, and I don't want her to see this now," he replied, pointing to the bathroom door.

"Don Vittorio..."

"Now is not a good time to discuss this, Rocco," Vittorio responded with a cold voice. "Go away and take this with you."

"But Don Vittorio, you asked me to deliver this as soon as possible," Rocco reminded him.

"Yes, but not on my wedding night," Vittorio shouted.

Ellis came out of the bathroom to see what was happening and found Vittorio and Rocco in the room.

"Rocco, what are you doing here?" she asked, concerned.

Vittorio looked at her and then at Rocco on the other side of the door.

"It's a business matter," the mobster replied.

"Rocco, this is my marriage contract, right?" Ellis asked Don Vittorio while pointing at the yellow envelope.

"Yes, ma'am," Rocco admitted.

"Okay, come in, Rocco," Ellis ordered, surprising Rocco. She adjusted her black robe and stared at Vittorio with cold eyes. "Let's resolve this quickly."

Vittorio seemed embarrassed for a moment but then regained his composure.

"Ellis, it's not what you're thinking. I just wanted us to have our wedding night before dealing with this matter. The contract can wait," Vittorio tried to justify.

"Business doesn't wait, Don Vittorio," Ellis said, shaking her head in disdain. "That's your motto, remember?"

She took the yellow envelope from Rocco's hand and started reading the contract, paying little attention to Vittorio. The mobster sighed and looked at Rocco.

"Alright, Rocco. You can wait outside for now. I need to talk to Ellis about this before signing," he said, gesturing toward the door.

Rocco nodded and quietly left the room, closing the door behind him. Ellis continued reading the contract attentively, showing no signs of stopping.

CLAUSE ONE - PROPERTY REGIME

1.1. The property regime of the marriage shall be a total separation of property, in which all assets, movable or immovable, acquired by either spouse before or during the marriage, shall remain the individual property of the acquiring spouse and shall not be shared, except when acquired in co-ownership.

1.2. In the event of the dissolution of the marriage, the assets acquired by either spouse during its existence shall not be divided between the spouses.

CLAUSE TWO - PRE-MARRIAGE ASSETS AND RIGHTS

2.1. The FIRST SPOUSE declares ownership of the assets and rights listed below, acquired before the commencement of the marriage governed by this agreement, which amounts to a total of:

Value: $32,850,199,058.75 (Thirty-two billion, eight hundred fifty million, one hundred ninety-nine thousand, fifty-eight dollars, and seventy-five cents).

2.2. The SECOND SPOUSE declares ownership of the assets and rights listed below, acquired before the commencement of the marriage governed by this agreement, which amounts to a total of:

Value: -$500,000.00 (Five hundred thousand dollars negative).

2.3. The assets acquired before the commencement of the marriage shall be considered the separate property of the respective spouse, as well as any assets substituted in their place, even during the marriage.

2.4. The assets acquired during the marriage shall be the separate property of the acquiring spouse and shall not be shared between the spouses, as well as any assets substituted in their place.

CLAUSE THREE - MANAGEMENT OF ASSETS AND COUPLE'S RELATIONSHIP (ENGAGEMENT TO HONEYMOON)

3.1. The expenses shall be paid by the FIRST SPOUSE, who shall attend to their own expenses and contribute to the couple's and SECOND SPOUSE's expenses in proportion to their obligations, as follows:

3.1.1. ENGAGEMENT DINNER: The SECOND SPOUSE's participation in the engagement dinner shall be mandatory, actively contributing to a good relationship with the guests, the FIRST SPOUSE's family, as well as the FIRST SPOUSE. Additionally, the following obligations shall be defined:

3.1.1.1. SPEECH: Value: $15,000.

3.1.1.2: ACCOUNT OF THE COUPLE'S FIRST MEETING: Value: $15,000.

3.1.1.3: ATTENDING TO GUESTS AND FAMILY: Value: $20,000.

This implies a total payment of $50,000 (fifty thousand dollars), if satisfactory to the FIRST SPOUSE. The amount shall be paid by the FIRST SPOUSE, and immediately deposited into the SECOND SPOUSE's account.

3.1.2. WEDDING: The SECOND SPOUSE's participation in the wedding shall be mandatory, actively contributing to a good relationship with the guests, the FIRST SPOUSE's family, as well as the FIRST SPOUSE. Additionally, the following obligations shall be defined:

3.1.2.1. CHOOSING APPROPRIATE ATTIRE FOR THE WEDDING, MAKEUP, AND HAIR: Value: $10,000.

3.1.2.2: WRITING AND DELIVERING VOWS: Value: $10,000.

3.1.2.3: PASSIONATE KISS DURING THE CEREMONY: Value: $10,000.

3.1.2.4: CUTTING THE WEDDING CAKE: Value: $10,000.

3.1.2.5: BRIDAL DANCE: Value: $10,000.

What will imply the payment of the total amount of $50,000 (fifty thousand dollars), if it is satisfactory for the FIRST SPOUSE. The amount will be paid by the FIRST SPOUSE, in the form of an immediate deposit into the SECOND SPOUSE's account.

3.1.3. WEDDING NIGHT: The participation of the SECOND SPOUSE in the wedding night will be mandatory, actively contributing to a good relationship with the FIRST SPOUSE. This clause will define the obligation to:

3.1.3.1. choose appropriate attire for the wedding night, makeup, and hair: VALUE: $10,000

3.1.3.2. FIRST SEXUAL ENCOUNTER:

This clause will be fulfilled according to the INTEREST of the FIRST SPOUSE, as defined:

a) ONE SEXUAL ENCOUNTER ON THE FIRST NIGHT: VALUE: $100,000.

b) TWO SEXUAL ENCOUNTERS ON THE FIRST NIGHT: VALUE: $200,000.

c) THREE OR MORE SEXUAL ENCOUNTERS ON THE FIRST NIGHT: VALUE: $400,000.

IN CASE THE SECOND SPOUSE IS A VIRGIN:

VALUE: $500,000.

This will imply the payment of the sum of the values if it is satisfactory for the FIRST SPOUSE. The amount will be paid by the FIRST SPOUSE, in the form of an immediate deposit into the SECOND SPOUSE's account.

3.1.4. HONEYMOON: The participation of the SECOND SPOUSE in the seven-day honeymoon will be mandatory, actively contributing to a good relationship with the FIRST SPOUSE. This clause will define the obligation to:

3.1.4.1 PARTICIPATE IN ALL MEALS:

VALUE: $5,000 (PER DAY).

3.1.4.2 PARTICIPATE IN ALL RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES (PER ACTIVITY):

VALUE: $5,000.

3.1.4.4 HUGS AND AFFECTION:

a) HUG: VALUE: $500.

b) HAIR CARESS: $500.

c) NECK CARESS: $750.

d) OTHER BODY PARTS: $250.

This clause does not include MASTURBATION.

3.1.4.3 KISS:

a) ONE KISS DURING THE HONEYMOON: VALUE: $2,000.

b) TWO KISSES DURING THE HONEYMOON: VALUE: $2,500.

c) THREE KISSES DURING THE HONEYMOON: VALUE: $4,000 FOR EACH SATISFACTORY KISS.

The kisses exchanged between the SPOUSES must demonstrate affection, attention, and above all, passion to be considered valid.

3.1.4.4 DANCE:

Each song danced by the SPOUSES will have the following value: VALUE: $1,000.

3.1.4.5. SEXUAL ENCOUNTER:

This clause will be fulfilled according to the INTEREST of the FIRST SPOUSE, as defined:

a) ONE SEXUAL ENCOUNTER DURING THE HONEYMOON: VALUE: $20,000.

b) TWO SEXUAL ENCOUNTERS DURING THE HONEYMOON: VALUE: $40,000.

c) THREE OR MORE SEXUAL ENCOUNTERS DURING THE HONEYMOON: VALUE: $40,000 FOR EACH SATISFACTORY ENCOUNTER.

What will imply in the payment for the sum of values, if it is satisfactory for the FIRST SPOUSE. The amount will be paid by the FIRST SPOUSE, in the form of an immediate deposit into the account of the SECOND SPOUSE.

FOURTH CLAUSE - MARITAL OBLIGATIONS OF THE COUPLE

4.1. Household expenses will be paid by the FIRST SPOUSE so that they will cover their own expenses and contribute to the expenses of the couple and the SECOND SPOUSE in proportion to their obligations, as follows:

4.1.1. KISSING: The SECOND SPOUSE may, optionally, actively contribute to a good relationship with the FIRST SPOUSE by engaging in intense and passionate kisses with them. Each kiss will imply a payment of $1,000 (one thousand dollars) if it is satisfactory for the FIRST SPOUSE. If the kiss is initiated by the FIRST SPOUSE, the paid amount is half the specified value. The amount will be paid by the FIRST SPOUSE, in the form of an immediate deposit into the account of the SECOND SPOUSE.

NOTE: PECKS WILL NOT BE COUNTED.

4.1.2. HUGS AND AFFECTIONATE GESTURES: The SECOND SPOUSE may, optionally, actively contribute to a good relationship with the FIRST SPOUSE by exchanging affectionate gestures and hugs with them. Each hug will imply a payment of $250 (two hundred and fifty dollars), and each caress will imply a payment of $400 (four hundred dollars) if it is satisfactory for the FIRST SPOUSE. The amount will be paid by the FIRST SPOUSE, in the form of an immediate deposit into the account of the SECOND SPOUSE.

4.1.3. SEXUAL INTERCOURSE: The SECOND SPOUSE may, optionally, actively contribute to a good relationship with the FIRST SPOUSE by engaging in sexual intercourse with them. Each sexual encounter will imply a payment of $20,000 (twenty thousand dollars), which may be increased in the case of MASTURBATION ($5,000), ORAL SEX ($10,000) if it is satisfactory for the FIRST SPOUSE. The amount will be paid by the FIRST SPOUSE, in the form of an immediate deposit into the account of the SECOND SPOUSE.

4.1.4. CHILDREN: The SECOND SPOUSE may, optionally, actively contribute to a good relationship with the FIRST SPOUSE by having children with them. Each child will imply a payment of $300,000 (three hundred thousand dollars) if the legitimacy of the parent is proven. The amount will be paid by the FIRST SPOUSE, in the form of an immediate deposit into the account of the SECOND SPOUSE.

4.1.5. HOUSEHOLD MANAGEMENT: The SECOND SPOUSE may, optionally, actively contribute to a good relationship with the FIRST SPOUSE by managing the household of the SPOUSES. Each function performed in support of the home will imply a payment of $50,000 (fifty thousand dollars), doubled if the SECOND SPOUSE organizes social events for the FIRST SPOUSE and if it is satisfactory for the FIRST SPOUSE. The amount will be paid by the FIRST SPOUSE, in the form of an immediate deposit into the account of the SECOND SPOUSE.

4.1.6. SOCIAL EVENTS: The SECOND SPOUSE may, optionally, actively contribute to a good relationship with the FIRST SPOUSE by attending events with them. Each social event will imply a payment of $5,000 (five thousand dollars), doubled if the SECOND SPO

USE dances with the FIRST SPOUSE or the amounts from any of the obligations stated in other clauses of the contract, if it is satisfactory for the FIRST SPOUSE. The amount will be paid by the FIRST SPOUSE, in the form of an immediate deposit into the account of the SECOND SPOUSE.

4.1.7. VACATIONS: The SECOND SPOUSE may, optionally, actively contribute to a good relationship with the FIRST SPOUSE by going on vacation with them. Each vacation will imply a payment of $15,000 (fifteen thousand dollars), in addition to the amounts from any of the obligations stated in other clauses of the contract, if it is satisfactory for the FIRST SPOUSE. The amount will be paid by the FIRST SPOUSE, in the form of an immediate deposit into the account of the SECOND SPOUSE.

4.1.8. ACCIDENTS, ILLNESSES, AND OTHER AILMENTS: The SECOND SPOUSE may, optionally, actively contribute to a good relationship with the FIRST SPOUSE by attending the hospital in case of illness, accidents, and other ailments affecting the FIRST SPOUSE, and by taking care of them if necessary. Each of the described situations will imply a payment of $2,000 (two thousand dollars) if it is satisfactory for the FIRST SPOUSE. The amount will be paid by the FIRST SPOUSE, in the form of an immediate deposit into the account of the SECOND SPOUSE.

NOTE: IN CASE OF THE DEATH OF THE FIRST SPOUSE, CONSULT THE ATTACHED WILL.

4.1.9. FEELINGS: The SECOND SPOUSE may, optionally, actively contribute to a good relationship with the FIRST SPOUSE by demonstrating any type of feeling towards them. If the SECOND SPOUSE falls in love with the FIRST SPOUSE, it will imply a payment of $500,000 (five hundred thousand dollars), doubled if the SECOND SPOUSE genuinely declares love for the FIRST SPOUSE and if it is satisfactory for the FIRST SPOUSE. The amount will be paid by the FIRST SPOUSE, in the form of an immediate deposit into the account of the SECOND SPOUSE.

NOTE: IF THE FIRST SPOUSE FALLS IN LOVE, THE AMOUNT WILL BE TWICE THE VALUE SPECIFIED IN THIS CLAUSE. IF THE FIRST SPOUSE LOVES, THE AMOUNT WILL BE FOUR TIMES THE VALUE SPECIFIED IN THIS CLAUSE.

4.1.10. INFIDELITY: The FIRST SPOUSE may, optionally, engage in extramarital sexual relations if the SECOND SPOUSE agrees. If the FIRST SPOUSE engages in extramarital relations, it will imply the payment of $5,000 (five thousand dollars) per case. The amount will be paid by the FIRST SPOUSE, in the form of an immediate deposit into the account of the SECOND SPOUSE.

FIFTH CLAUSE - DURATION

5.1. This prenuptial agreement will be effective from the date of the marriage of the SPOUSES and will end with the settlement of the amount of FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS to be paid to the SECOND SPOUSE if they fulfill their obligations.

5.1.1. The FIRST SPOUSE may, exceptionally, waive the obligations of the SECOND SPOUSE and request the dissolution of the marriage, the termination of this contract, and the settlement of this contract.

5.2. At the end of the term, the FIRST SPOUSE must grant the dissolution of the marriage to the SECOND SPOUSE, as well as the total of all amounts owed to the SECOND SPOUSE.

5.3. By this instrument, the parties undertake to comply with the duties of loyalty, respect, and assistance, as well as the duties of custody, support, and education of the children.

SIXTH CLAUSE - CONSENT

6.1. The SPOUSES declare that they fully understand this agreement, knowing and agreeing to its binding nature, which will also benefit them and their respective heirs, successors, and beneficiaries.

SEVENTH CLAUSE - JURISDICTION

7.1. The parties choose the jurisdiction of New York to settle any doubts regarding the enforcement of this agreement.

In witness whereof, the SPOUSES celebrate and sign this instrument in two identical copies, in the presence of the undersigned witnesses, who also sign it, so that it may have legal effects.

Vittorio silently observed her, feeling guilty about how he was handling the situation. He knew the marriage was a sham, but he had never stopped to think about how Ellis would feel.

"Ellis, I'm sorry, we shouldn't be dealing with this now... especially the new clause about infidelity," Vittorio began, receiving a freezing look from Ellis.

"Why not? That's all we've been dealing with. Everything is just a big business deal," Ellis commented, staring at the mobster.

"I know, but I wanted at least this night to be different, I didn't want you to deal with this. I asked Alessio to include it because I was angry with you. But now I'm worried..."

"Don't worry about me, Vittorio. I know how to handle business situations very well," she reached out her hand and then commanded, "The pen, please."

Vittorio took the pen from his pocket and handed it to Ellis.

"I promise I'll do everything in my power to make this easier for you," he said, approaching her.

"Now you want to make things easier? Funny, because you could have simply not forced me to marry you. But then you wouldn't be the all-powerful Don Vittorio, and I wouldn't be the woman you managed to buy," she replied, signing the contract with the pen. She tossed the contract at Vittorio and stood up, saying, "I'll be waiting for you in the bedroom."

Vittorio sighed once again, knowing he couldn't change the situation. He sat in the armchair, watching Ellis go to the bedroom without looking back.

He knew their relationship wouldn't be easy, but he hoped that over time, he could make Ellis truly fall in love with him. For now, he would have to settle for being just a contractual husband.
