Don't Touch My Hand Or You Will Die

If only she could turn back time, Zalina Roston would probably use her time to return to that day. One day changed her life when she was 15 years old. Zalina doesn't understand why she is experiencing strange things she never imagined. She doesn't know if this is a curse or a gift she must accept. Zalina can see pieces of a person's future, even death, by touching their hand. When Zalina touched the hand of a man named Jasper Blackmore, she seemed to have hope. It was because the man was different. There is something connected to their past. With Zalina's abilities, their adventure begins. Jasper and Zalina solve several cases that occur around them. Slowly the love between Zalina and Jasper grows, but they are two different beings. *** "You are greedy and cruel, Simon. You have caused wars and destroyed innocent creatures. You must accept the punishment." Simon groaned as he tried to get up, but he didn't have the strength to do it. He could only lay weak and thought it might be time for him to die. He then looked at the older man who was looking at him. With a smirk on his bloodied lips, he said, "Punish. I'm ready to die." "Dead? No. Your punishment is not death but the pain of loss. And when you meet your descendant, they will receive a curse." Simon chuckled at the older man's words. He didn't have anything of value in his life, so why was he afraid of losing? After all, Simon has not and will never love a woman. How could he have descendants? "This is easy." Simon grinned before finally closing his eyes. ** This is my first work in English. 3. Who Was That Man?

Zalina followed the steps of the man who was now leading her away from the crowd where the accident that killed Mr. Robert happened.

After they were at the end of the intersection, the man let go of Zalina's hand and turned to look at Zalina.

Perfect posture and classic and firm facial features contain masculine traits. One thing that made Zalina feel a strange vibe was that the look in his eyes was like a blazing blue fire. It lit up as if the man could see deep into Zalina's soul.

Zalina was speechless, stunned to see the handsome man in front of her. Her tongue suddenly stiffened.

"When other people criticize you, you can only stand up like an idiot. Before, you were so hard at preventing that guy from coming out."

It turned out that the man had seen the scene before the accident.

"Are you the same as them? Are you accusing me of being the one who caused Mr. Robert to die? I was trying to save him."

The man tilted his head, still looking at Zalina. One of his hands was tucked into his trouser pocket.

"No one can resist fate. No matter how hard you try to prevent this man's death, he will still meet his end. So stop meddling in God's business."

From the man's expression, Zalina could see that the man knew her abilities.

"Do you know my abilities?"  asked Zalina, looking into those blue eyes.

"Are you a shaman?" The man asked back.

Zalina had not had time to protest and asked again when a super luxury car stopped right beside them.

A man got out of the driver's door and immediately opened the passenger seat door. The man in front of Zalina walked and got into the car without saying anything. A red luxury car, leaving Zalina stunned on the side of the road.

"Rich men are always like that." Zalina sneered at the attitude of a foreign man who left without saying goodbye.

Zalina sighed before walking down the sidewalk. She thought back to the incident in front of the door where she worked.

"I won't have the courage to go back there again. Why did this happen on my first day of work?"

Zalina raised her hands, looking sadly at one of her bodies.

"I don't want to have the ability to see the future. This bothers me! Can anyone free me from this cursed hand?"

Zalina suddenly stopped her steps, remembering the strange man earlier.

"The man held my hand, but I didn't see anything from him," said Zalina, amazed. He felt stupid for realizing it too late.

"Who was that man?"

At the same time, in a luxury villa, a family was gathered at the dining table, enjoying dinner. They were Mr. and Mrs. Stump's family, along with their daughter.

"His name is Jasper Blackmore. He's probably about 29 years old. Blackmore's only heir because he's an only child and has no other cousins. You can imagine how much wealth he has for a single man his age."  Mrs. Lily Stump tells her daughter about Jasper.

"You mean you want Chelsea to marry Jasper?"

"Why not? They'll look good, and our finances will be safe for generations too." Lily answered her husband's question.

"What do you think, Chelsea?"

Chelsea, who had only heard Mrs. Lily's words, finally responded to her mother's words.

"He's quite popular among my friends. I saw Jasper once at a friend's birthday party. Although he socializes well, I think he's too mysterious."

"What do you mean?" asked Mr. John Stump.

"I heard that the Blackmore family lineage can only have one offspring, and they are all male. That's why Jasper is Blackmore's sole heir." Chelsea explained what she had heard from her friends.

It turned out that Chelsea knew quite a bit more than her parents.

"That's right," said Mrs. Lily. "But maybe it's the only way to prevent a struggle for wealth between them."

"That's quite strange for a multi-billionaire family. They shouldn't have to worry about that. Having ten children, they shouldn't be in trouble."  Mr. John expressed his astonishment.

"But, I don't mind having only one offspring," Chelsea said with a meaningful smile.

Zalina got off the bus and went to Vanessa's house. She wanted to see Vanessa tell her what had happened this afternoon immediately. Zalina also brought a small gift for her close friend. Zalina and Vanessa have been friends for five years.

When Zalina arrived at Vanessa's house, the atmosphere there seemed lively. She also heard loud music, which could be heard several meters away from home.

"Zalina, why did you just arrive?" Mrs. Lydia greeted Zalina as she reached the door.

"Yes." Zalina's voice could barely be heard over her voice.

"Come in. They're in the back garden."

Even though Zalina didn't ask, she knew that Vanessa was celebrating a birthday party.

However, why didn't Vanessa tell Zalina there would be a party? Or did Vanessa deliberately not invite Zalina?

Vanessa was seen laughing while dancing a little with some friends and also Alex, Vanessa's new boyfriend.

When Vanessa saw Zalina's arrival, the girl stopped dancing. She immediately approached Zalina with a bit of awkwardness.

Zalina forced a smile when Vanessa approached her.

"Zalina."

"I didn't know there was going to be a party. If I had known earlier, I might have worn the right clothes."

"Sorry, I didn't tell you on purpose because I didn't want you to be at my party," Vanessa said.

"W-what? Why?"

"I don't want you to mess up my party like last year. Because of your abilities, you made a fuss and caused one of my friends to have burned almost all over his body."

"Vanessa."  Zalina is feeling hurt, not believing that Vanessa would say that. She had always thought that Vanessa could understand her.

"And I also don't want you to destroy my relationship with Alex like you did when I was with Tommy."

"But, Tommy has betrayed you. I saw him with another woman."

"Everything you say about my friends and boyfriend always makes me think badly, scared and worried. I become restless because I hear your words after you touch their hands."

"Vanessa, I just want to help you from those who only take advantage of you."

"I don't need that. You're a terrible girl, Zalina. I don't want you to be my friend anymore, and I'd rather lose you than many friends."  Vanessa said heartlessly.

Zalina was stunned to hear Vanessa's hurtful words. It turned out that she had been wrong about Vanessa all this time.

"I hope you never come to my house again. And I don't want to be friends with you."

Zalina swallowed the pain of Vanessa's attitude, but she still wished Vanessa a happy birthday.

"Okay, I understand," said Zalina, holding her hand to congratulate her.

Vanessa accepted Zalina's hand even though she had to.

"Happy birthday, Vanessa. I wish you happiness."

After saying congratulations, Zalina immediately left in fast steps. She wanted to go home and cry in her bed.

Not only was it sad to hear Vanessa's words, but Zalina saw that something terrible would happen that night to Vanessa. However, she had to stop talking. Zalina would grant Vanessa's request.

"I'm sorry, Vanessa. You don't allow me to help you anymore," said Zalina while crying on the bus.
