It wasn't long before she was hit with dizziness followed by realization. As her eyelids turned heavy she placed the wine glass on the table clumsily before trying to get back on her feet. She tried to support herself, only to loose her balance each time. She gathered all her strength and turned towards Bohai and asked him,"The w..i..ne.?"

She could hear him say as he lowered his head, "I am Sorry".

She cursed herself for letting her guard down before loosing all her consciousness.

Bohai rushed to hold her to avoid her hitting the ground. He held her up closely and placed her on the chair. He gazed at her closely. At the thought of what he just did resurfaced on his mind he turned his head away in remorse.

He stood up and texted,'Done.'

He stared outside the balcony into the endless darkness. 'I can't go back to the past to change what I have done but I hope I could just see your nonchalant smile again.'

It didn't take a while to hear a knock outside the door. He walked towards the door and unfastened the locks.

He pulled open the door to see Lin. He brushed past him and went inside.

The scant moonlight outlined her unconscious frame. Her hair slowly fluttered along with the rhythm of the wind.

Lin slowly went closer to her. He bent down to take a closer look at her harmless state. He cautiously raised his hand and stroked her face.

"What are you planning to do now?"

The question interrupted his actions,"Just talk"

"A dinner or coffee would be more preferable over an abduction when it comes to talking."

Lin slowly lifted Mei of the chair and prepared to head out. He stopped beside Bohai and said,"Sometimes things need to be done in a different way."

Without waiting for a response Lin carried her away. Bohai stood there motionless for a moment. He closed the door and headed towards the balcony to make his exit.

The tall black thick metallic gates creaked lightly as it was being opened. The vast meadow that followed only consisted of darker shades of green. The name suited it perfectly 'Blackmedows'.

As the car pulled over in front of the entrance of the huge villa, instead of a line of servants a few bulky guys wearing suits lined up to welcome the owner.

Lin got down and opened the back door of the car to carefully carry out Mei. As he walked into the villa he ordered to prepare a room.

He carefully placed her on the bed and covered her with the blanket. Then he headed out of the room.

"Bar all the windows in this room and lock the doors. I need two of you in front of the door all the time. No one is allowed to enter or exit without my permission. "

"Yes Boss"

Her heavy head made it hard for her to lift herself up. She tried to focus despite the uneasiness. As she attempted to get off the bed she slumped to the floor. She gathered herself up and tried to stand up. Just then the door opened.

Su Lin entered to see Mei on the floor. He grabbed a chair and sat a few meters away from her.

Mei struggled to get up to walk towards the door.

"Why don't you stop trying? It is of no use. I have guards surrounding the area."

"So do you expect me to comply to whatever you are saying."

"You have no other choice." he replied coldly as he kept track of her moves.

'THUD' she landed roughly as she lost balance.

He mechanically stood up only to see her raising her hand signaling 'No'.

"Why is it different? Why do you keep rejecting me every time for everything?"

"Do you expect me to accept someone who paved way to my family's destruction?"

"It is not like what you think."

"Why? You never had a hand in everything that happened?"

"I can explain."

"If an explanation could solve everything can you give me back my brother and Niu? What about Zixin? What did he do?"

"I never knew it would turn out like that. It wasn't intentional."
