A foe or a friend

As I teleported back to my room, I sat Amelia on the bed. After a few hours passed I waited for her to get her strength back. "Rose is it true am I actually pregnant?" she asked in a soft voice. "Yeah, it is," I said in a calm voice. Tears started dropping from her face. She pulled her knees up to her face and started sobbing. "Now you're stuck with me forever," she said teary. "I'm not worried," I said calmly.

She started sobbing harder than ever. "Shh, it's okay," I said trying to calm her down. I gave her a hug and she hugged me back. "Amelia looked at me," I said calmly. She looked up to me her eyes filled with tears. "I promise I'll protect you and the baby," I said in a sturdy tone. "Thank you rose," she said tearfully. As she fell asleep, I stroked my hand through her hair. I gave her a kiss on her forehead and fell asleep.

As morning came Amelia looked so peaceful sleeping beside me. "Morning love," I whispered. "Mm good morning," Amelia said softly. I got out of the bed Amelia yawn and looked at me in a strange way. "What's wrong?" I said hesitantly. "I don't feel so well," she said nauseously. She jumped up and ran to the bathroom. She started throwing up quickly. "It hurts," she said faintly. I handed her a glass of water and gave her a hug. "it's going to be okay," I said calmly. As she got up from the floor, she ran over to hug me. "How did I get such a good girlfriend?" she said softly. "I don't know however, you also have a child, so you need to stay by me at all times," I said in a sturdy tone. She nodded her head and went to lay back down.

"Amelia, we have a ball to host," I said in a cold voice. This was the first time in a while I had used that tone. She looked at me and smiled. "You're right let's do this," she said proudly. She got up from the bed and picked out a long pink dress. She chose white gloves and a lace vale. She handed me the purple dress I chose yesterday and gave me black gloves. "I don't know how long I'll be able to last during the ball however I'll try to last all night," Amelia said hesitantly. I nodded my head and put on my dress. As Amelia put on her dress it looked like she was struggling a little bit. I went behind her and grabbed the dress from her waste and slid it up her body. As I zipped up the dress, she turned her head and look at me.

"Why'd you do that," she said in a concerned tone. "You know I could've gotten it on it just would've take taken a little bit longer," she added. "I'm sorry," I said softly. She nodded her head and put on white earrings. I bit my lip and walked out the door. She followed me with her head down. "Head up please that's not how a queen should walk," I said to her. She held her head up high and walked with a straight back. When we got to the garden, I sat down by our picnic area. "Let's eat while we still have time to do something," I said in a modern tone.

She nodded her head and sat down. "You don't have to be so controlling," she said in a heartbroken tone. "I'm done with you for today I'll be back by the time the ball starts," she said tearfully "Wait!" I called out. She turned her head with tears. "You've been so controlling ever since you found out that I was pregnant with your child" she said frantically. She walked away with her head down. I knew I should have let her go, but something in me said to keep trying.

I grabbed her hand and tried to pull her close to me. "Rose, stop!" she said in a harsh tone. "Please don't go," I said beggingly. "I'll stay here I just won't stay with you," she said with her eyes flooding with tears now. This could not be happening. Was she going to leave me again? While I watched her walk away, I felt my body hit the ground. I laid there crying for what seemed like hours.

She left me there without a second thought. I guess I really was that controlling if she would leave like that. As I picked myself up and got my emotions together, I felt as if it would be better to go to the forest for a few minutes. As I left the palace I wondered deep into the forest. The air felt cooler. The air felt heavier like it was going to collapse soon.

As I tried catching my breath I realized that someone was behind me. "Poor simple queen, I see not everything you wished for became what you expected," the voice said in a gruesome tone. "However, as I said before, you have one wish remaining. So my sweet and simple queen wish for all power to be yours and no one will ever stand in the way of you. You might even be able to be in your child's life," the voice said temptingly. "And how do you know about my child?" I asked in a concerned manner.

"Why my sweet queen everyone knows your girlfriend Amelia is set to have a child in a few months," the voice added on. My lip quivered at the tempting offer. "Why do you hesitate my queen," the voice said confused. "Because it wouldn't be right, power should be earned rather than forced," I replied. "Oh, I see. Well, if it's power that you want to earn, I recommend you showing everyone who truly rules this world," it said temptingly. I nodded my head and walked away. "Dear queen, why do you still try to save her. Even after all she's put you through?" it asked concerned. "Because I love her," I said hesitantly. "Why do you hesitate?" it said confused. "Because I know that no matter what I do I'll always end up making a mistake," I said tearfully.

"I see, well if you think you're going to make a mistake. Wear this," it said handing me a necklace. "Since I pity you, I will now be of your service," it said with a smirk. In a bright flash something started to happen. The light was getting darker and started fading into a light pink. Soon there were fox ears on this person's head. There was a tail too. I gasped in shock at what I saw. It was a human with light pink hair and the ears and tail of a fox. "Woah," I said shocked.

They had on tight pants with a simple dress that was open in the front. "I'm also your garden fox the ancient world has sent for you," it said showing it white teeth. "The ancient world?" I said puzzled. As the glow faded, I could see a woman. She had long hair and it nearly touched the floor. She nodded her head and gave a subtle smile. I wondered why the ancient world had sent her. "The ancient world has sent me to protect you due to the demon that you have in that purple necklace," she said fearfully.

"I come from the palace of the ancient world. That's also the strongest animal spirit there is," she added on in a joyful mood. "As you know you got three wishes from a demon. However, the demon you received the wishes from is one of the most murderous demons there is," she said hesitantly. "The spirits that go out and protect people who got wishes from demons normally come back alive. However, every once and a while a powerful demon escapes and recks havoc on the world. I didn't really think the demon you received wishes from was powerful till we saw the energy you gave off," she said explaining it.

"So, you now are queen of this world, and you have a family. So not only do we need to kill the demon inside of you we also must transform this world into a new planet. The spirit planet," she said excitedly. "Wait will the wars still exist," I said in a concerned tone. "Sadly, they will but any demon that tries to cross into the spirit world after it has been transformed will evaporate and die getting rid of them forever, she said running out of breath.

"How would we transform this world into the spirit world?" I said puzzled. "Like this," she said pulling out a scepter. The scepter she had was a light pink with white wings at the top. There was a ball of white light in the middle of the wings. She slammed the scepter into the ground. I watched as the normal forest trees started changing into white and pink cherry trees. The dark green grass became a light green and it started to look healthier. I stared in shock as the dark gloomy sky became a vibrant blue.

The buildings weren't just normal buildings they had a red and black color on them. Suddenly spirits started emerging from these portals. "Welcome to the new spirit realm," she said excitedly. I stared in shock as I watched everyone look around in shock. "Would you like to explore your new castle," she said curiously. I nodded my hand as she took her scepter and teleported us to my new castle. "Wow this looks amazing," I said in awe. "Rose!" a voice called out from behind. I turned my head to see Amelia running towards me. "Amelia," I said a little unmotivated.

"I'm so sorry, I never should've left you," Amelia said sobbing. "Back away from her," the spirit called out. "Why should I, you don't even know her," Amelia said expecting an attack. "Actually, I do and unlike you I won't be leaving her any time soon," the spirit said spitefully. Amelia gasped in shock at what she just heard. "Rose I'm sorry but I can't be under a bunch of stress right now I'll see you late," Amelia said tearfully. "And why can't you be under stress. Does it make you feel unsafe or are you to much of a baby?" the spirit said teasingly in a rude way. "I can't be under stress because I'm pregnant okay!" Amelia shouted at the spirit with tears in her eyes. I decided to step between Amelia and the spirit. "Please leave my girlfriend alone," I said with a little bit of rudeness. "As you wish," the spirit said kindly. Amelia was holding onto my back with tears in her eyes.

"Rose why does everyone hate us being together," Amelia said tearfully. "I don't know," I responded. "Well, I would hope that you wouldn't leave me a second time today after all we may still have a ball to host," I said with a little joy. Her eyes lit up and she seemed a little happier. Just then eight mages flew down and stood in front of us. "Rose Crystal, we've received news that the world here has changed, and we expect a good reason," the first mage said responding. "Lumia, go check to make sure both Amelia and her child is okay," The first mage added on.
