Once Hyperion felt the surroundings brightening up again, her vision gradually focused.
She found herself standing in a hall as spacious as a theatre.
The dome hung high, painted with complex murals depicting scenes from the myths of the Demon World. Although the colours of these murals were somewhat faded, they still exhibited an indescribable grandeur under the soft yet hazy glow they emitted in the light.
At the centre of the hall, on a high platform stood a deep-purple mirrored Void Teleport Gate. With its help, one could possibly proceed to the lower levels of the prison.
Yet standing at the base of the platform, Hyperion found its surface to be incredibly calm, lacking the ripples that had appeared on the surface of the Void Teleport Gate she had seen at the base level.
It was likely that there was some sort of sealing formula in place. Unless authorized, no one could activate it.
