Chapter 64

Even Rank 1 Warriors use Spiritual Energy to reinforce their body when they are fighting. So their consumption is still large. And if one runs out of energy they will quickly lose to their rival.

And even more importantly, multiple Artifacts with this type of strength exist. And people can carry multiple of them! There is no limit. Each hand can carry dozens of rings alone! That's dozens of recovery items!

Samuel slipped the Energy Ring onto his white slender finger and focused on the next object.

It was actually a ragged old book. As soon as Samuel touched it he realised what it was. A Warrior Skill!

[Do you wish to place the skill into the System Gallery?]

'

''Yes!''

[Rank 2 Warrior Skill 'Iron Body' : Use Spiritual Energy to encase your body, boosting your defence largely, scaled based on how much Spiritual Energy is used.]

''Impressive a Rank 2 Warrior Skill, and it's a defensive one!'' Samuel already has the Horned Charge as an offensive skill and now a Defensive skill to supplement it!

Of course it needs to wait until Rank 2 to be used.So Samuel only took a quick glance before he focused on the fourth object.

This time it was a sheet of paper.

Samuel looked down at the complex patterns on the sheet and took a moment to realise what it was. It's actually an architectural drawing.

However, different from ordinary blueprints, it contained detailed instructions on a large Array.

As Samuel picked it up he felt a flood of information file into his mind. Shockingly enough it was the blueprints for a practice room.

It can boost the practice of Warriors within 30% when it is constructed. Although not as good as his system purchase Training Room, this lower level practice room is much cheaper.

According to the blueprint it only costs some basic Spiritual Metals and woods. The most expensive thing is the materials needed for the Array.

Each room needs 9 beast hearts and 50 Spiritual Crystals on each beast heart. Meaning a total of 450 Spiritual Crystals are needed per practice room.

But this is still really useful. Samuel has 1,700 Spiritual Crystals which are more than enough for the Training room. And Eleflare hearts can easily be used for the beast hearts. Samuel still has hundreds of corpses of Eleflares.

This means Samuel can easily build at least 1 practice room if he still wants to summon a Dog of War with a 2 Inch Spiritual Root. As for the last 300, 100 will be saved in the treasury while the 200 will be used for 1 Inch Dogs of War.

And finally Samuel turned towards the last item, and also the most intriguing for him.

Because as he looked at it his system alerted him!

[Detected a Leaf of Eternity, does the host wish to fuse with a Dog of War and create an Eternal Guard?]

''Huh? Leaf of Eternity ? System explain this to me!]

[Host the Leaf of Eternity is a leaf fallen from the Eternal tree in the centre of the Eternal Battlefield, each leaf contains endless power and endless possibilities.]

[The Eternal Battlefield randomly awards the Leaf of Eternity to participants in a Racial War, the host only receives it due to the effect of B1's luck.]

[Normally the Leaf of Eternity boosts your lifespan by countless amounts and can forcibly increase your rank by a large realm regardless of your current realm except for Rank 9 Powerhouses.]

[However the host has a special use for this, he can create an Eternal Guard Dog of War, this Eternal Guard Dog of War will permanently follow the host. Even if it is killed it will slowly reform with the help of Spiritual Energy.]

[Eternal Dogs of War also match the Hosts Cultivation, however the purity of their Spiritual Energy is far from comparable]

As soon as Samuel heard this he had made a decision in his mind.

Yes the other effects of the Leaf of Eternity are powerful, increased lifespan and boosted the realm. But the best it can do him is getting a Rank 2 Warrior. After all, Life Span is quite useless for Samuel and the Dogs of War.

However an Eternal Guard is just too useful!

Not only do they follow Samuels cultivation, they are immortal! And it's not the same as the Spiritual Form in the tomb. The spiritually formed resurrection stops potential growth and limits the movement.

But the Eternal Guard can do all sorts of things for Samuel, after all it doesn't matter if they die. And it makes it much easier for the Eternal Guards to gain combat experience, after all they can actively seek battles.

As for the candidates, naturally they would have to come out of the 18 Dogs of War who followed Samuel as a bodyguard.

After reading the System Prompts, Samuel focused on the Eternal Leaf. According to the system this actually originated from the centre of the Eternal battlefield!

The leaf was as small as the palm of a hand, which seemingly glowed golden, but with Samuels new eyesight as a warrior he saw that the actual leaf was green but there were such dense amounts of runes it made it look golden.

However as Samuel looked at the leaf for less than five minutes he felt his head start to get dizzy. Imperceptible patterns began to float in front of his eyes as the ruins seemed to begin floating.

And before Samuel noticed it he had been knocked unconscious.

It took three hours for him to finally regain consciousness. Samuel awoke to a stinging pain in his head, as he felt his spiritual energy was bottomed out.

''Oh shit, the power contained in the leaf is too much for me now.'' Samuel realised his mistake.

How can a low Rank 1 Warrior stare directly at something from the Eternal Tree, even if it is just a small leaf.

As for the protagonist's treatment of receiving a special talent just by glancing at it? How could Samuel be so lucky? That type of stuff is destined for the Sons and Daughters luck.

Luckily Samuel could deposit the Eternal Leaf into the system to be used later, which he did.

Then he turned his attention towards the two smaller orbs.
