Chapter 164

What followed was a heavy battle. The defending warriors were caught unprepared. They didn't have time to equip their armour; they could only scrounge up what little equipment they had.

However the Caterpillar legion struggled massively here, they were much weaker than others at the same level.

Whereas the Eltorns move rapidly, slipping between enemies and slaying them easily.

While the fight continued, Serpentine Samuel appeared on top of the wall. Opposite him was the Blue Armoured general, also a Middle Rank 2 Warrior.

''Are you the one in charge of this invasion? No you wouldn't be so stupid. Someone must be behind you.'' The general spoke to himself.

''It doesn't matter who's behind this. Just know you will eventually lose.'' Serpentine Samuel spoke calmly.

''Just you will make us lose? We are a branch of the Simpson Family, our means are beyond your comprehension.'' The general said bravely.

Serpentine Samuel listened to the response, but shook his head slightly. At the same time however, Samuel ordered people to research the Simpson Family.

Suddenly a deep hiss appeared on the battlefield.

A large snake, three metres long and two metres tall, had somehow climbed up the wall. It opened its wide mouth revealing a sharp set of teeth.

''A basilisk? No! How did you tame it?'' The general watched in horror as the large creature swallowed one of his warriors in a single bite.

Obviously this was the little green snake. With Samuels constant feeding of beast meat the snake grew to Low Rank 2.

It turned from a cute green snake to a gruesome looking grey and green basilisk snake. It had two sharp fangs sticking out of its mouth.

Poison would be injected into whoever it bites, slowly paralysing it and poisoning it.

At the same time,Serpentine Samuel began fighting the General. His Slippery body talent allowed most of the Generals' attacks to miss.

However the General was clearly a talented warrior. Every attack struck towards a vital spot of Serpentine Samuel.

The battle continued for a while. Slowly Serpentine Samuel gained the advantage with his excellent talent.

But the General wasn't to lose easily. He pulled out a violent artifact. It was a floating orb that span around the General's body.

Flames flew out of it, causing tornadoes to appear around his body.

Serpentine Samuel tried to attack, but before he could get even a foot away from the General his hand turned bright red and faint blisters started to appear.

''Ouch god damn it.'' His hand stung violently. He hurriedly pulled out a small mashed up mixture of herbs and poured it on his hand.

Slowly it returned to normal.

''Is this the hidden card you boasted about?'' He sneered mockingly at the General. Although this fire is violent it can't increase his combat power directly.

And he could clearly see that the General was already sweating. Such a flame surely takes a lot of energy.

But the General didn't listen. You could see his eyes filled with steely determination.

Then a match of tag began. The General chased after Serpentine Samuel trying desperately to catch him in his flames.

But all he achieved was killing a dozen unfortunate Dogs of War who happened to be in the way.

Seeing his failures the General panicked. With a final decision, he actually ran the opposite way!

The scattered warriors defending the wall saw their leader run and their morale plummeted.

Samuel watched as they slowly got mowed down. Most noticeable was the giant snake now wrapped up digesting the many warriors that it ate.

Although the battle with the wall is over, the war for the plane is far from over.

There are easily seven thousand more warriors on this low level plane. And according to the interrogations the remaining seven thousand warriors were all under one banner.

The Simpson Family branch. At the same time Samuel received a bit of information on the Simpson Family.

The access to information on Families is very limited. Families are often all blood related in the top positions.

However they are definitely an incredibly strong force. It might be difficult for warrior organisations on BlueStar to survive a thousand years, but even the weakest family has lasted a hundred thousand years!

The only information that Samuel received of the Simpson family is the person who controls this Plane.

But a mocking smile appeared on his face when he read it. Not only is the son from almost the thousandth generation of the family, he wasn't even born legitimately.

His father is only a High Rank 2 Warrior, which is nothing for the large families, and has thousands of mistresses.

The son is nothing but a slightly more talented son of the father. But for some reason he no longer remained in the Family territory but was sent here to manage a Plane with little to no resources.

Samuel no longer had any worries. The most support that the son will receive is some resources or manpower.

After knowing this, Samuel began to loot the resources left over. From the bodies of the rogue warriors, over three thousand Spiritual Crystals were looted.

Not to mention a lot of scattered sets of armour, some Pseudo-Artifacts and there were many scattered resources in the Space Backpacks that the warriors brought.

But that wasn't the priority. Samuel focused on the treasury on the wall, and he definitely wasn't disappointed.

Not only were there three large space vaults filled with food and other supplies, enough to supply an Army of ten thousand warriors for five years!

This is perfect for Samuel. He had prepared a few resources for the invasion but definitely not enough.

Finally Samuel got to check out the rest of the resources. Except for a few damaged sets of iron armour there were two thousand Spiritual Crystals. Most likely reserved for quick replenishment of energy.

Fortunately Samuel went for the sudden attack, otherwise they definitely wouldn't be able to afford to out last the defenders.

In the end, Samuel decided to use all the crystals quickly. He immediately used them all to Summon One Inch Spiritual Root Dogs of War.

But instead of distributing them to different locations, he sent them all to the Eltorn Paradise Empire. There they would be trained and prepared for combat as quickly as possible.

He decided on this because of one reason. He sent out a hundred legion soldiers to scout out the Plane, but unfortunately they were all wiped out by an equal sized force from the Simpson Family Branch soldiers.

All because the Simpson Family Branch soldiers have a special Formation. It allows them to share damage between the soldiers. So unless you can do enough damage to kill them all, it is incredibly difficult to win.

Samuel easily predicted that the losses here would exceed his estimations. Although it is a shame to waste thousands of spiritual crystals, it would be worth it in the long run.

Even if Samuel can only get the formation then it would be a valuable invasion. And now he is starting to expect great things if he takes over.
