Chapter 70 (Revised)

Spring of 2015.

Looking back now, Mu Hanxia would find that these six years had actually passed very quickly. They felt quick, probably because she was so busy. Initially, all her energy was devoted to her studies. After graduation, she was busy with work. For a woman all on her own, breaking into the job market in the United States was no easy feat. However, she did exceptionally well, receiving pay raises year after year, and earning significant achievements; she had become an elite in the field of business marketing.

At times, she would think, oh, she was living the life she had once dreamed of. She was back on the path she was meant to follow in her life.

But once, there had been another path. It wasn't necessarily a worse one. The scenery along that path might have been even more captivating and exhilarating... Whenever she would dwell too much on this thought, she would force herself to refocus. It seemed that all she remembered was just a road she had missed.
