In the restaurant, Lin Mochen and Mu Hanxia sat facing each other.

When he lifted his head, he saw her mind seemed to wander as she picked up food with her chopsticks.

"What are you thinking about?" he asked.

"Nothing," she replied.

Both fell silent for a moment, then he reached out with his chopsticks to place some food in her bowl, saying, "Don't you love the dishes at this restaurant? Why not eat a bit more?"

"Hm."

After slowly finishing the food he had served her, she spoke up, "I want to take a break for a while, I don't feel like going to work."

Lin Mochen stared at her and answered, "Okay."

To her surprise, Mu Hanxia felt relieved. Yet he added, "But, I have a condition."

She looked up at him.

"Move back to the hotel," he said. "I can't let you stay in this budget hotel indefinitely. Unless you want me to move in as well."

After a moment of silence, Mu Hanxia replied, "Okay."

Lin Mochen smiled, his gaze calm and gentle.
