I arrive at the studio welcoming my guest, once everyone arrived I led the way to the art studio showcasing a few of my artworks there..a particular set that I worked on over the years, more like sketched over the years. It included my journey with Zafar and the times we faced together.
“ I would love to buy the entire set, ” he said taking out his checkbook.
“To me it’s priceless…how much are you willing to pay?”
“ All the money and property I have,"
I laugh at his seriousness taking out the original sketchbook handing it to him, “This one's for you, free of charge. Memories we made together…through our hardships and happiness, happy anniversary.”
Before he could speak Mutaq announced the snack bars opening and the provision of drinks. He then gazed upon the crowd calling out to Elham, from the stage bent onto one knee, he yelled out her name placing the ring in one of his hands and the other hand holding the mic close to his mouth.
