31. Suspicions.

Akeelah sucks in a breath again and looks away from the police chart.

The Police man notices her attitude of being uncomfortable and closes it politely without making any remarks.

Akeelah seems to think a bit before speaking out her next words.

"Is there anything I can do to get this done fast?"

The police man looks at her full facedly.

"Is there something you're trying to hide ma'am?" He asks with his voice laced with deep suspicion

They have to get this over with so I can ask the others to clean up and not let it look like anything happened. If by any chance the media gets to know about this incident in my own mansion, it will be the final end of the Rose Group that has been hanging on a thread for a little while. Any little shake and it'll all fall down and I will disappoint my parents who died.
