Literally Anything?

Jam made his way to the library after leaving the sparring ring. Though he was still a bit embarrassed from all the trouble he caused, he was nonetheless still fired up to train as there were so many things he could improve upon. There were still dozens of not hundreds of Daos to comprehend, and his own personal move set could get an upgrade as well.

Jam entered the familiar library lobby at the ground floor of its pyramidal shaped building. He greeted the library receptionist that he hadn't seen in eight years and asked a most ridiculous request "Hey~ Can I can ALL the techniques that are up for sale?"

"Pardon? What did you just say?" The receptionist didn't even get the chance to tease Jam for not seeing her in eight years before the knucklehead spouted off some insane words.

"Yeah, I said, Can I Get ALL The Techniques That Are Up For Sale???" After selling pills to the academy and trading with Latoya, Jam was more than just "stacked;" he had enough money to support the sect for years to come…

"OK… Do you mean all the techniques in the first floor? Do you mean all the techniques for a certain type of energy? I'm not sure if I'm following you correctly..."

"I want all the techniques of all the Daos and energies up to the third floor. I'm only a Saint after all~"

"..." The receptionist did some quick calculations before showing Jam a piece of paper, hoping to quell his ridiculous fantasies.

The paper Jam received simply stated a large number "18,990,379,555,014,574." "Mhmm..." Jam felt a headache incoming as he didn't expect the number of spirit stones to be this high. Even if he did make a fortune in the last couple days, 18 quadrillion spirit stones was a bit off the amount he currently had on himself.

It then hit Jam that he didn't need the techniques from the first and second floor, so he changed his request to only techniques that are suitable for Saints. Still, that didn't do much to change the number of spirit stones required, as techniques only got exponentially more valuable as they became suitable for higher and higher level cultivators.

Changing the parameters to only the techniques for Saints only knocked off about 4 quadrillion spirit stones. Fortunately, that was enough for Jam as he had 15 quadrillion safely tucked away in his storage dimension. He gave the receptionist a nod and was glared at all the while the receptionist took him to the place where he could deposit his spirit stones.

As Jam was left to summon his payment in an empty white room, the receptionist left to go get his jade slips. Now that Jam had a Space Dao Domain, the process of emptying out or filling in his storage dimension was much more convenience as he no longer needed to cast rifts in the void. Instead, Jam could just displace whatever he wanted from his storage dimension, no matter how large it was, to the outside world so long as it fit the range of his Space Dao Domain. Given that his Space Dao Domain was well over a thousand kilometers at his peak range, Jam easily displaced all 15 or so quadrillion spirit stones in a instant; which he did, just in several chunks, separating the spirit stones into space storing artifacts of the sect.

He talked with Tzatziki as he waited for the receptionist to return with jade slips. "So, you're saying that you can arrange for me to train in the challenge areas of the Core Nexus?"

"Well, not just that. I can also help you find… Oh right, you have Seeking Form… nevermind. Anyways, I think I have a solution for you to test whether or not you really do have some sort of draconic bloodline. It'll be a bit risky, but worst case scenario is you feeling a bit "down" for a couple days; nothing too major."

"Uh… come again?" Jam asked, but his attention was brought to the room's entrance as the receptionist had returned with a space ring for him.

The receptionist covered the white room in her divine sense as she checked for Jam's almost 15 quadrillion spirit stones. Counting calculations were fast for cultivators, but they weren't welcome; it was a pain having your mind process numbers with dozens of digits, even if the one counting held the powers of nature itself.

Luckily, because the academy was so considerate, the receptionist only had to make sure that the storage artifacts within the white room were full; each artifact could contain exactly 100 trillion spirit stones. Thus, after making sure that 150 artifacts were up to the brim with spirit stones, Jam was allowed to leave the room and go on his merry way.

The receptionist glared at Jam as he walked away, as if he hadn't just spent enough resources to cripple a Sage King's wallet, but the man in question didn't bother with her. Even as he walked back home he began wasting jade slip after jade slip of technique after technique. And through the process Jam became more and more agreeable to the fact that literally ANYTHING could form a Dao; he had seriously underestimated the sheer quantity of what could be a Dao.

In the space ring that Jam received from the library's receptionist, he primarily found techniques for Daos that were widespread and relatively common. The Dao of Fire, for example, held over five different Saint techniques that covered all the aspects of that Dao and from different angles of attack. But where, the common Daos held precedent, the unorthodox Daos held Jam's interest, amusement, and most of all, his attention…

As Jam combed through the list of new Daos he could study, his face changed so quickly, that bystanders on his path could be said to have been treated to a show. Jam read through the Daos in this order: "Dao of water, earth, wind, fire… thunder, light, darkness..." his face didn't change much for these, but then… "Dao of spark, plasma, nihility… sound, antimatter, decay..." now things were getting interesting, but the end had yet to come… "Dao of love, romance, dual cultivation… guns, brick, potato..."

Ok, now Jam was starting to get frustrated. How was he to understand the subtle differences between love, romance, and dual cultivation? They all seemed to be a part of one common Dao… And then those last couple "weapon-based Daos," who in their right might would cultivate them?

The Dao of Guns seemed normal enough, until it was but beside a tool for construction or an ingredient for cooking. Honestly, if there existed a Dao specifically for bricks and potatoes, Jam could understand finding a Dao on literally anything… This discovery was both a blessing and a curse for Jam as it signified two things: first and foremost, an increase to his fundamental understanding of the Dao, and secondly… That he couldn't hope to practice ALL the Daos that existed as he would literally never make any sort of progression that way; he'd be too busy trying to use leeks as swords to see any improvement in his cultivation…

Thus, Jam made a plan in his mind as to what he'd do for practicing new Daos. First, he'd focus only on Daos that were essential to his cultivation and then maybe, if he felt it could improve his foundation, he would study some Daos that were at least remotely close to the aforementioned major Daos.

By the time Jam reached his house, he had only finished reading though half of the jade slips that he purchased from the library. He was so busy scanning through the various jade slips that he didn't notice Evangeline was still visiting her clan. Jam just ignored everything and hovered over to his cultivation cushion, within his cultivation chamber.

Danger Noodle had already taken up the task of meditating by herself as she knew Jam would remain behaving like a robot until every single technique was copied over to his psyche. She took up her humanoid form and played around with some pieces of light and yang to improve her mastery of her chosen fourth subtype of thunder.

After a couple hours, Jam had completely used up all the jade slips he had bought. It was a bit of a hassle sorting through the seemingly endless ways he learned could improve his Dao Cultivation, but the regardless of the physical and psychological cost, the payoff was worth it.

The light in Jam's eyes returned to their regular splendor as he told Tzatziki that he could begin training in the Core Nexus whenever he wanted. Tzatziki told Jam to pick up Danger Noodle, and immediately afterwards teleported the party back before the mechanical eye within the Titanic Beast Mountain Range's world.

I'm not one to make worthless vows, my promises (usually) always come true! So, rejoice as this autheroni, right here and now, so solemnly swears that the Dao of Bricks and Potatoes will be used! (I hope...)
