Light

Time passed as time tends to do. Most of my time was spent just thinking about what I want to do in the future and also about my past. I wonder how everything that happened in the past led me to this point in time. Maybe it was fate or the gods playing with the lives of humans. Whatever it is I will live a happy life even if I have to fight the gods. No longer will I have my life controlled by others. Especially if its people like those cultists.

Thinking about things was my only real way to past the time. Other than that I slept. I am so tired. Whatever the system is doing it has taken all of my energy and I am just so sleepy. After more time passed without me realizing I looked at the system timer. 

<6 years>

Sigh.. another 6 years to go. It feels as if an eternity has passed as all I see is darkness. I decided to just shut off my mind and go back to sleep. The void held nothing not even sound although every once in awhile I could hear the faint noise of my parents outside. But as time passed it grew less frequent. I still loved the feeling of their love and caring. 

More time passed in the void and silence. I thought I would feel so alone but I don't. I like the quiet emptiness even if it would drive some people mad. But I guess living 2 lives, having those 2 lives fused into 1 and then being blessed by a god made my mind stronger. Oh and also my parents are an angel and a demon which is pretty cool. I wonder what their wings feel like. I wonder if my own are soft and warm. Letting my mind wander I lost my sense of self again as more time flew by. Before I knew it I heard the system activate.

<Beginning Installation>

Suddenly I felt pain for the first time in forever. It was just a minor headache but it made me feel reassured that I still had a body. It only lasted a short time as the system spoke again.

5 minutes?! I thought I had so much longer to wait. I guess time just slipped by. Also the system sounds more human or at least alive than before. I wonder what will happen when I get out of here.

Outside...

[Usiel] Honey come quick! Something is happening!

[Raziel] I'm here and its almost time for him to come out. Look the clock on the crystal is almost done counting down.

[Usiel] Yes but the crystal is growing larger. It was the size of an apple before and now its like someone stacked 2 melons on top of each other.

[Raziel] Well yeah of course. It shrunk to a smaller size when he became it probably so we could protect him better and now that he is ready to come out it has to accommodate for his new size. I told you he would be okay.

[Usiel] Yeah I know but I am just so worried. Its our only son and I just don't want to lose him.

[Raziel] It will be okay just trust the process.

Inside...

I grew excited watching the timer count down. It feels as if the space I am in is growing larger and larger but I can't really tell how big it has gotten. Looking at the system before the time went down to 0. I watched it slowly ticking. Finally It got to the last minute. Then 30 seconds, 15, then down to 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...0...

As it hit 0 I heard a noise like cracking glass. Slowly I regained the ability to feel my fingers, then hands, then arms. Slowly I regained the entire feeling of my body as I saw a glimpse of light coming from somewhere ahead.
