Reincarnated

This year marks the fifth year after the leadership selection in the previous period. That means soon there will be a battle between the young and old generations of two prominent families in the city of Luminae As the young master, Tiberius Julius is chosen to represent his family in the upcoming fight, even though he is considered less talented.

"Did he faint again during training?" asked an elegantly dressed elderly man, disappointed, as he saw Tiberius Odin and Tiberius Maxlin come carrying Julius who was unconscious.

"You are right, leader. This child is nothing like his father, who had above-average abilities in our family. He is too weak and fragile, easily discouraged, and finds it challenging to grasp the lessons we provide. We've given him various rare concoctions, but there's been no improvement at all," replied Tiberius Odin, also expressing disappointment.

"Hmmmm... it seems this time the city leadership will be under the control of the Starfall family. Not only do we lack any talented individuals in the young generation until now, but even our elders may not be able to compete with the rapidly advancing Starfall family," uttered Tiberius Achilles, the leader of the Tiberius family and Tiberius Julius's grandfather.

Tiberius Achilles then entered his room, leaving his two nephews, who shared the same surname, to take his grandson to the nearby resting place. A gloomy expression adorned the old man's face as he entered his resting chamber, contemplating the upcoming match for the city's leadership.

"In this family, I am the only one with the ability to reach the seventh level of the Heavenly Spirit Realm. The other Tiberiuses have, at best, reached the second level. Meanwhile, our enemies have more than three individuals who have reached the ninth level of the Fatigue Spirit Realm," lamented Tiberius Achilles in his thoughts.

The old man was truly overcome with despair. In times when their family had to face the Starfall family, rumored to have made significant progress in their martial arts, the Tiberius family experienced a drastic decline. Until now, he was the only one with a martial spirit realm at the seventh level.

Meanwhile, after Tiberius Odin and Tiberius Maxlin left Tiberius Julius's room after taking him to the resting place, the young man began to regain consciousness. Despite the pain and aches all over his body, Tiberius Julius struggled to sit up on his bed. 

"What exactly happened? How did I end up here? Why does my whole body feel so sore? Is it because of the tremendous power of those two immortal birds?" mumbled Tiberius Julius.

Attempting to sit cross-legged and muster his strength, he was surprised to feel a minimal amount of energy within him. Nevertheless, he tried to utilize that energy to heal himself. In a short time, the young man, who had the soul of the Light God Emperor trapped inside him for some unknown reason, easily cured himself.

Feeling somewhat better, Tiberius Julius got up from his bed. He reached for a nearby basin of water only to be shocked by the reflection that stared back at him—it wasn't his face.

This was easily explained, as at that moment, the Light God was within Tiberius Julius's body, who had actually died when he fell into the abyss.

"Have I reincarnated into this young man's body? This means I haven't disappeared from this universe. But why can't I sense the power of the gods here? Has my ability vanished with my reincarnation into this young man's body?" pondered the Light God inside Tiberius Julius.

The Light God then attempted to use the techniques he mastered to enhance cultivation within his new body. However, his attempt failed as he suddenly coughed up blood. The Light God realized that the young man's physical strength was too weak. He didn't even possess a physical strength that could support the original power of the Light God.

"The physical strength of this young man is too weak. If I force the use of my techniques, this body will crumble, and I will perish with it. Alright then, I will try to merge with this body and play out the journey of life as him," thought the Light God to himself.

The Light God then entered a state of meditation, recovering his energy and unifying with his new body. Shortly afterward, all memories, thoughts, and everything belonging to Tiberius Julius instantly became a part of him. The Light God now knew that his current name was Tiberius Julius.

"It turns out this young man is under pressure from his own family because he lacks the ability to quickly learn martial arts. How can he solve everything by learning in this way? Anyone surely won't make progress as expected if they practice like this. And it seems I am indeed in a different universe from the one I used to rule, because the cultivation levels and processes here are different from where I was before," muttered Tiberius Julius or the Light God after studying the knowledge present in his new body.

The Light God decided to live life as Tiberius Julius while trying to find out what actually happened to him after his battle against two Immortal Birds at the level of the God Emperor and the soul fusion with those two creatures. On the other hand, the Light God, through the thoughts of the young man whose body he occupied, discovered that the cultivation levels and cultivation methods in his current location differed from his previous place. The fundamental difference was that in this place, cultivators were determined by the levels of martial spirit realms within their bodies.

The realms of martial spirit cultivation itself consisted of:

- Earth Spirit Realm, basic level 1 to 9

- Earth Spirit Realm, intermediate level 1 to 9

- Earth Spirit Realm, peak level 1 to 9

- Heavenly Spirit Realm, level 1 to 9

- Semi-Fairy Spirit Realm, level 1 to 9

- God Emperor, Level 1 to 4

- Supreme God Emperor, only one level

The Light God couldn't gauge the level of the martial spirit realm within him, which was now merged with Tiberius Julius's body. Perhaps, fundamentally, the martial spirit in Tiberius Julius's body, which was the Light God, was at the God Emperor level. However, due to his weak physical condition, Tiberius Julius's or the Light God's abilities, currently residing at the intermediate earth level, were limited. Each realm itself consisted of nine levels.
