Back at the Cultivation realm, appearing in front of Seniors Chrysanthemum and Peony.

"How did you get on? Did Jonah like what Li Jing cultivated?" Senior Chrysanthemum asked.

"He did like what she cultivated, but I think he was more interested in Li Jing," Senior Iris confessed.

"Senior Iris, he does not like me in that way. Besides there are far better looking cultivators than me," Li Jing bit back with a blush. Senior Iris gave her a sideways look.

"Sure," Senior Iris teased. "When are you planning on going back to cultivate the rest of the Bird realm?"

Li Jing pulled a face to express how she felt, as she was about to answer Iris's question, her other senior rudely intervened.

"Well? When do you plan on going back to finish the job?" Peony demanded.

"I was just about to tell you if you hadn't interrupted me. I was going to say that I will be going back tomorrow and I am hoping Senior Iris would be free to accompany me again," Li Jing asked, almost sounding smitten.

"I would love to accompany you Li Jing, as long as Seniors Chrysanthemum and Peony are ok with it," Senior Iris accepted.

"I'm ok with this, but I'm not so sure Chrysanthemum is up to the idea. I feel she wants…" Senior Peony began to say before getting stopped by Chrysanthemum.

"Peony! I can speak for myself. I am fine with Iris accompanying Li Jing, since I can go there whenever I want, I just choose not to. Also, I am a busy Cultivator you know," Senior Chrysanthemum scoffed.

"Don't be shy Senior Chrysanthemum, we all know that you like Jonah. It is kind of obvious, especially the way you act around him," Peony teased. Iris and Li Jing smirked a little.

"I'm trying to get him to like me, but it seems that he has his heart set on someone else. I have a fair idea who that might be," Senior Chrysanthemum confessed and then looked at Li Jing.

"Me? Why would he want me? I'm only a junior cultivator, surely he would want someone with a bit more experience," Li Jing insisted, being modest.

"Are you blind or stupid! Of course Jonah likes you, can't you tell he started flirting with you the moment he saw you. I think he was a little disappointed that Elder Orchid had wanted Senior Iris to accompany you," Senior Chrysanthemum explained.

"Jonah was just being friendly, yes he's a charming guy, I like him, but I'm not attracted to him in that way," Li Jing spoke truthfully.

"Come on ladies, that's enough. It is time to get some rest, it's been a long day for all of us," Elder Orchid appeared.

That evening Li Jing couldn't stop thinking about Jonah, her heart pumped faster than usual. She decided to do some breathing exercises to bring her breathing down as she needed to rest to be able to cultivate smoothly.

"Jonah? What are you doing here?" Li JIng asked.

"I couldn't wait to see you, I've missed you, seeing you cultivate for my realm made my heart beat faster," Jonah confessed.

"But what about Senior Chrysanthemum," Li Jing asked.

"She's alright, but I find you more fascinating. You're nothing like your senior sisters or your other sisters. You take my breath away," Jonah spoke as if under her spell.

"Jonah I am flattered you feel that…" Jonah kissed her to stop her from talking, "...way," Li Jing finished her sentence.

Jonah kissed her again. When they broke apart Li Jing made the next move.
