Turn Back the hands of time!
For the next couple of weeks, Charles limited his outings to his mother's dismay. Charles had unconsciously decided to reel back a bit to make Thalia feel like she belonged, and Joy Wanky was not on board … obviously.
That aside, Thalia had also decided that it was best to detach her mind and thoughts from the house proceedings. The emotional rollercoaster was taking a toll on her, and from her pre-natal education, she knew that it was not the best condition for both her and her unborn child. But all the 'zen-den-like' moments that had helped her calm down and be indifferent to everything came crashing down one day.
"Thalia?"
She, who was enjoying a rare sane moment that day, turned from her phone to face Charles, "Mmmmm?"
"Mum and Dad want to see us in Dad's office."
