In the Wanky residence, Eliana hid her smug smile and tried to cuddle up to Charles, but he got fed up and left her outside. Just as he entered the living room, his phone buzzed, and he picked up without checking the caller ID.
"CHARLES WANKY! I WILL BREAK YOU INTO TWO WHEN I MEET YOU. JUST PRAY THAT I DO NOT SEE YOU!"
The voice was so loud on the phone that he moved it from his ear and checked the name, Flora. Even his parents and Mr Jones had heard it in the quiet living area.
One thing that Charles was glad about was that Thalia never mentioned anything about her life in his home to Flora. But as Flora yelled on the phone, he wondered if Thalia had finally told her. Releasing a huge breath that he did not know he was holding and massaging his temple, he asked,
"What is it, Flora?"
"What is Flora? Did you just ask me that? What is wrong with you? You promised to protect her, and what did you do?"
