Chp 61 : Doryu Michael

"W-where are you taking me Doryu?!" He was still very suspicious of her though

"I'm taking you to the ritual, you'll be safe there... and isn't that why you sneaked out into the forest anyways Siun?"

Doryu was right so Siun just stopped struggling

"Can you let go of my hand? Your squeezing it very hard" Siun mumbled

"Oh sorry I can't seem to control my strength yet"

"Are all Khawlok children like you? Unable to control their strength?"

[This girl must be a Khawlok I'm sure of it, her pale skin her tall stature and her super strength!]

"Are all Xinthri children like you? So rude! I'm a saint, I can only come from New Cerulean!"

Siun was shocked, how could a person from New Cerulean be this strong, let alone a 3 year old child!

"But aren't people from New Cerulean just normal people? I heard that the only thing special about the country is that they produce saints every one in a while!"

"Huhu, that was pretty offensive to my country! But I totally agree!" Doryu said as she let go of Siun hand "As you can see I'm different from the other New Ceruleans, I am ridiculously tall for a 3 year old and my strength can rival that of a grown man from Khawlok!"

[She's that strong as a 3 year old?!]

"Now that I told you about myself tell me more about you Siun!"

"U-uhm I'm not a pureblood, I'm a mix from Xinthri and Seux! I came here to test out my Seux eyes!"

"Hmm I see, normally kids from Seux can use them as soon as they are born, but I guess it's different for a mixed child"

"Oh and I'm also chosen by the gods! And I think I have awoken my powers already when your supposed to at 4, isn't that cool!"

When Siun said that Doryu suddenly stopped in her tracks

[It's fine to tell Doryu that I'm chosen by the gods right? She's a saint after all?]

Hmm... what makes you think that?" Doryu asked as she turned to face Siun with her hands on her hips

"I-I've been told by... someone" Siun said

"But I sense a different type of mana coming from you" She said with a suspicious smile on her face "I'm going to ask you again, what are you doing here?"

Siun was confused "What do you mean? You already know I'm here to see the ritual and test out my eyes!"

"Haha, you can stop pretending already you demon" Doryu said as she walked in closer towards Siun, she towered over him

"D-demon? Me?! I'm no demon! I'm chosen by the gods that means I can't be a demon isn't it?!" He said as he looked up towards the girl, trying his best to not look frightened

"Who made that rule? Cause you are chosen by the gods, but that holy mana is being devoured by another mana, a demonic one" Doryu said as she smirked "So are you going to answer me now? Your a pretty weak demon judging from your mana so I can probably kill you in an instant"

In this world there are 2 types of mana a holy one and a demonic one, holy mana is possessed by those who are chosen by the gods and a few powerful saints, and demonic aura is possessed by demons

"But my parents a both human!" Siun rebutted

"So?"

Doryu said as she hoisted Siun up by gripping onto his collar effortlessly

"A-aren't you a saint?! You can't harm me!"

"Oh so you do know about our rules... It is prohibited to harm innocent civilians, but your a demon!"

"What if your wrong though! I swear I'm no demon!" He wriggled around trying to free himself

"Prove it"

"H-how am I supposed to prove it?!"

As soon as Siun said that Doryu threw him onto the ground and started chanting

"Oh great and holy lord dragon, heed my faith. Your child, Doryu bestowed with the last name of Michael by thou. Allow me to borrow your power to purge this sinful spawn of demon Niran. Rid this creature before me from this world before it sullies the common and corrupt thy loyal saints with your pure and mighty beacon of judgement"

All Siun could do was close his eyes and duck his head due to the blinding light that started to come down from the night sky, it was like a falling star

[...I guess this is it then, I hope Doryu at least shows me mercy and makes this as painless as possible]
