Chapter 116: Girl Talk

~Third POV~

Earth. Fire. Air. Water. Only the Avatar can master all four elements and bring balance to the world.

Republic City welcomes a new citizen into our arms. Avatar Korra!

After years of seclusion in the South, this master of water, earth, and fire seek to add air-bending to her list of skills.

And under the tutelage of Tenzin, Avatar Aang's son, she should go far. But will this cool, calm, collective master of air be able to tame this hotheaded teen?

Inside the Air, Temple Korra has already begun to train under the only living Air Bender Tenzin to practice the art of air-bending.

Air-bending, one of the four elemental bending arts, is the aerokinetic ability to control and manipulate air. The peaceful Air Nomads utilized this type of bending in their everyday lives.

Air is the element of freedom.

The Air Nomads detached themselves from worldly problems and concerns; finding peace and freedom was the key to solving their difficulties in life.

Airbenders continually sought spiritual enlightenment, and, as a result, all children born into the Air Nomads were benders. The first air-benders learned their art from the flying bison.

The key to air-bending is flexibility and finding and following the path of least resistance. Air-bending is notable for being almost purely defensive, as well as the most dynamic of the four bending arts.

Airbenders can overwhelm many opponents at once with large and powerful attacks that could prove fatal; however, due to the pacifist nature of the Air Nomads, such attacks are rarely used. Instead, an air-bender strives to use the opponents' energy against them.

Due to their aforementioned spirituality, they often adapt to the situation surrounding them and employ negative jing, preferring evasive maneuvers as opposed to direct confrontation.

While on the trip to go to the Air Temple Tenzin was annoyed with Korra's views on the Pro-Benders arena as she always dreamed as she spoke out positive about them, "And, in the final round, the Buzzard Wasps won with a decisive knockout! What do you say we go to the arena tonight, catch a few pro-bending matches?"

However, Tenzin wasn't much of a supporter to Pro-Benders as he gets serious with Korra of her reason for being in Republic City become one while Tenzin returns to the situation of her stay while she trains in the Air Temple, "That sport is a mockery of the noble tradition of bending. Korra, you're not here to watch that drivel. You're here to finish your Avatar training. So, for the time being, I want you to remain on the island."

Tenzin and Korra finally arriving inside the Air Temple with the White Lotus guarding and keeping watch began walking outside underneath a wooden shed. A ring-tailed flying lemur soars by as the camera slowly pans to the left as the duo is walking on. Korra is now wearing typical Air Nomad attire instead of her usual Water Tribe clothing.

With that, they both began to start her training in the arts of air-bending.

Tenzin and Korra as they climb some stairs as does Tenzin's children come to view with Ikki is jumping excitedly up and down while clapping her hands; Jinora stands solemnly in the middle; Meelo is vividly waving at the upcoming duo.

Behind them, there is a circle filled with several wooden gates, all standing in a different direction. The elemental symbol of air-bending is applied to every gate.

But that sadly got her ass beaten by the wood element of the gates till she finally destroyed them and went back on Tenzin's word to finally go to the Pro-Benders Arena joining a group called the Fire Ferrets after their water-bender dipped on them…

Elsewhere inside The Triple Threat Triad was another issue discussed with the other members of the chat group with Tatsumi and Kaina seeing the progress of the criminal gang activities leaving Saeko and Ruby to talk about something else more important…

~Saeko POV~

Sigh…

Sighing over inside the building of a criminal group of elementals they have been rather very obedient ever since Tatsumi made a demonstration of their boss Zolt as they cater to us like queens.

Glancing my eyes over to Ruby she seems to change the group of criminals as they blush a lot and follow her words as she speaks kindly to them, "No Lee you have to mix the dough here to make a good batch of cookies. You guys Fire-Bending is convenient to cook you know. Makes me jealous of you guys."

That was when one of the guys called Lee smiled and bleed through his nose seemingly at bliss as he cover his eyes as he rubs them off as he spoke, "No thank you very much miss Rose. To have a beautiful gal like you teaching us scum to be proper people is the greatest that us men could hope for!"

"I agree brother!"

"To the queen Rose!"

"Ruby Rose!"

"Queen Rose!"

Pfft…

Ruby seems to enjoy herself as she flusters at the sudden attraction she seems to have gathered as she waves her hands defensively as she spoke flustered, "Wha! No please stop I'm just your ordinary girl with normal knees! No need to do this please!"

Of course, that is when the men stopped as they cried away like they have seen something bless them…

Must be Ruby's cuteness rubbing them off on them.

Later they soon left as I began to talk to Ruby as I wanted to hear something from her about our only male friend in the chat, "Say Ruby I've been meaning to ask for a while now. How do you feel about Tatsumi being in a relationship with multiple women?"

I wonder what would be her response about the Tatsumi case?

However, to my surprise, Ruby seems to blush at this as she clears her voice as she began to explain herself to me, "Uh… I'm not really sure how to feel about that honestly. I would say normal I guess? I mean my dad married Raven and my mother Summer so… I don't know if I'm the right person for this Saeko?"

Tch.

I didn't know Ruby's dad was a player or a harem man in the making. Maybe-

Ruby's voice then asked me in surprise as she spoke in an innocent tone as she responds to me getting me by surprise, "Why ask Saeko? Do you perhaps have feelings for Tatsumi but don't know how to react with multiple women right?"

Damn it when did Ruby get this observant.

But…

Getting some words of a friend could help me out so… sighing out loud I began to reply to her with a defeated tone of my voice, "Ok you got me, Ruby. I do like, LIKE, Tatsumi Ruby. But… him having to share… I'm not so sure about that idea really."

I mean it sounds wrong to have a harem of women? How would one even take care of them all?

I mean Ruby's dad Tai, for example, left him with two daughters and from the stories of Yang, it seems to me he was hit by depression once Summer died leaving Yang to grow up more to help Ruby out as a kid.

It's just… those ideas don't work out much but…

I can't just have the idea of HIM of all people having a harem but… Ugh!

Why can't this be a very easy idea to confess but he already has two women with him? And one of them is my friend Hinata and another he agreed to never abandon Juvia taken responsibility to make her happy.

I want him to look that way to ME alone. At least I'll have what we both want but…

*Pat*

Huh?

At that moment Ruby patted my shoulder as she responds to me something surprising as she replies to me with a shocking answer, "Let me guess you want to have him to yourself right? Guess you ain't the only one to like him right?"

My eyes widen scandalously even viewing Ruby as she briefly flashes a grin at me as she explains herself to me, "Hehe. Never thought you make that face. But I do like Tatsumi but I don't feel like I'm ready for THAT kind of relationship yet. As for him having more woman though…"

There was a brief silence between us as I can't help but feel very conflicted about this endeavor of love. But still having multiple partners though… it's not something I'm very comfortable having wrapped around my head.

Next, the silence was broken as Ruby began to talk again as she replied to me finally as she spoke to me, "But is it a wrong thing thought Saeko? I mean so long as everyone is happy isn't worth it being with the person you love right?"

I…

Shaking my head for a bit I returned to my thoughts when I remember the first time hearing their relationship with Juvia and Hinata…. I mean Hinata I could understand but someone who he didn't meet but agreed to be his lover…?

I can't help but feel cheated on that how easy it is to get his affection… Jealous even. I wanted to be with him ever since he agreed to accept me back at the One Piece world at first it was admiration then at the MHA world…

The freedom and trust he placed in me against the fight villains and fire bastard…

Shaking my head at this as I thanked Ruby for some talking about this I replied to her kindly, "Thanks for the talk, Ruby. I think I need some help with some ideas for sharing. Maybe Mavis would help with this."

Ruby shrugs her shoulders at this as she began to get back to whatever she was doing. But for me, I need some time to think things through first on what I decided to do about my feelings for him…

A/N: Thanks again for the reaction idea to how Ruby and Saeko took it. As for Saeko having a hard time is rather simple since most modern and realistic people won't agree to such ideas. For Ruby though it's possible because of her dad Tai having multiple partners.
