Diary of a Teenage Alpha

Big-hearted and witty, Samantha Kingsley is the Alpha's daughter who grew up learning to meet everyone's expectations. But Samantha isn't a pup anymore, she's in high school now, and is just about to discover that her life is written by her choices. Not by dreams, or prophecies, or even the moon goddess. This girl is going to protect the happiness of her pack and everyone she loves. Read her diary here. Updated every night. Mon-Sat Volume Synopsis VOL 1 It's the first week of school. Despite my failed attempt to make a friend, I somehow ended up surrounded by a handful of wolf classmates, got accepted by the human "cool" girls, and became a vampire's guard dog? VOL 2 I think I'm just starting to get the hang of school. From navigating school halls, new friends, vampires, and school clubs... Back home it should have been the usual drill, but things started shifting. And I urm...might have been messing around where I shouldn't. VOL 3 I had to miss a couple of school days this week due to my ah, long term bout of "anemia". It's been pretty intense at home. My alpha position was challenged, rogues burnt down our home, I rescued my first fight dog, discovered the Lorent's secret oracle, almost rescued my mate...and accidentally stumbled into my Alpha Dad's secret. VOL 4 My worlds collide as some members from my pack come to my school to sell concert tickets. And when Grandpa Alpha shocked us all by dying, my dad's family comes together to pay their last respects at the Night Forest Pack. VOL 5 It's February and the Vampire Queen is celebrating her birthday. Would Rebel's plan to escape work out? Meanwhile, I'm stuck in school dealing with high school drama, an evolving wolf, and a new human sister. In the Red Packlands, war nearly breaks out. (This might have been a very little bit my fault.) VOL 6 It's the week of Valentine's Day, but I've got a highschool play, Lorent drama, Vampire slaying training, and an underground army to deal with first. And then warlock weather threw an extended snowstorm at us. The whole of Green Packlands goes into lockdown - but what about Valentine's Day? VOL 7 Exams are a week away, and it feels like my time at Winderhill is really coming to a close. I'm trying to be a good student, but there are paparazzi camped outside my school, I ran with rogues (I'm shocked too), Maria just had to enter her dark cycle in school...My life is too exciting to study for exams. VOL 8 It's exam week, but I've got far greater problems brewing at home. The prophecies are merging. River's stone had unlocked warlock trouble, the rogue king has moved in, and then there's Uncle Louis' economical problems... one at a time. Just let me survive Code Black and figure out what's going on at Heller's first, and I'm sure everything else will work out somehow. VOL 9 Its the last week of school and the exams are over. Its like for better or worse, all the big bad things are over now. At home, My pack works to clean up the aftermath of the rogue war, the warlock's defeat, and Jude's betrayal. In school, everyone treats me more or less the same... like a freak. Meanwhile, our school play is in dire straights, and as the Last Hurrah's debut draws near, I get ready to say good bye to Winderhill for good. VOL 10 We follow Dad to the past to stop the traitor (AKA Jude), from ever stepping into our Packlands. It would've been a good plan too - if it didn't change EVERYTHING. Now, I can't help but feel my life is ruined. Nobody understands me. Is it selfish of me to wish none of this ever happened? Why does my world have to be so magical?

CLASSIC BEN AND JONAH

"What do you want us to do?" Ben asked.

"Might I remind you that it would be in our interest not to have videos or photos or public displays of humiliation of any of the Betas or Gammas serving our Alpha Princess?" Killion smiled gently.

Nix facepalmed, "So much for my plan."

Jonah looked relieved, "Ah, good. Also nothing too gross please."

"Like what kind of gross? Just so I could avoid it." Nix asked, he wore an expression far too bland to be honest.

"Anything is fine." Jonah said, "Just not exchanging underwear cos that's really gross."

"Shut up, Jonah." Ben growled.

Nix smiled, but it was not a nice one, "Yeah, okay. Then exchange underwear - and wear it for a month."

"Noooo!!!!" Jonah said.

"That's going to be nasty." Harvey said, "Nix, you're going too far."

Ben didn't say anything. He just growled very lowly.

"Deal is a deal." Nix said. "I'm not the nice guy Harvey is, so keep your word dweebs and start stripping."

"What? Here?" Jonah said.

"I have to make sure you really exchange them with my own eyes. And I will do spot checks throughout the week." Nix smirked.

"You're sick." Harvey told him.

Jonah looked like he might just cry.

I almost stood up to stop this when Ben stood up before me. He pushed Sir Sparklalot into my face, "Fine, Nix."

Wait! I wanted to protest but Harvey and Killion were suddenly standing right in front of me, so I couldn't see past their backs.

"What? That's hilarious! You two are wearing matching SpongeBob and Patrick boxers?" Nix was seriously enjoying himself, "Well that'll make it easy for me to track. Swap them now."

"Alright, just don't look. I'm shy." Jonah said.

"Shut up and change Jonah." Ben growled.

"Nix, don't look!" Jonah insisted.

"Yeah whatever. I don't want to look either!" Nix shot back.

So I supposed Nix turned away or closed his eyes or something because I heard them shuffling a bit and then Jonah saying, "Okay."

"Satisfied?" Ben asked.

"Yeah, make sure you keep wearing them all month." Nix reminded them.

The guys shuffled some more before I heard the sound of flies being zipped.

Harvey and Killion stepped to either side revealing Ben and Jonah fully clothed again.

Nix stood up, "See you, losers!"

Harvey hit him over his shoulder, "Excuse yourself first."

Nix stopped laughing. His features became earnest. "Sorry." he bowed shortly in my direction, "Please excuse me, Alpha."

I nodded and Nix made another quick bow and left.

With Nix I never knew what to think. He was always switching like that. Was he a good guy with a lot of issues? Or a nasty guy trying to be good?

Jonah and Ben fist bumped. They looked rather pleased with themselves. These two... Didn't they just suffer that one specific forfeit that they hadn't wanted to do?

I watch them celebrate like they won. The yellow band of Jonah's boxers was still showing from his low rise jeans.

Hey, wait a minute... If Jonah was wearing the yellow band, then he was wearing SpongeBob, which I was quite sure was his own underwear.

I remembered Savy telling me that Jonah wore SpongeBob boxers to school a few weeks back.

Which meant that these two clowns had already swapped their boxers earlier and then tricked Nix into making them swap back! Hahahahahaha.

Oh, but they still had to wear them for a whole month. Oh well, if you're stuck with only one underwear, better your own than somebody else's.

"That's sneaky, Beta." Killion said.

"Yeah, you guys are just wearing your own underwear." I said.

All the guys turned to look at me.

"You were watching?" Jonah gasped, wrapping his arms around himself. I laughed at his silliness, "No, but the yellow band of your boxers is showing."

"How do you know what my underwear looks like?" Jonah adjusted his clothes to cover the yellow band.

"I heard about my gamma flashing his SpongeBob Squarepants boxers in school." I calmly replied, and then I couldn't resist adding, "Don't get your panties in a twist."

The guys laughed.

"They were also wearing underwear under the boxers." Killion informed me.

"You looked!" Jonah gasped at Killion.

"Were you disappointed, dog?" Ben smirked.

Killion smiled sanguinely, "Somebody had to stand guard."

"Next time stand guard with your eyes closed!" Jonah snapped.

Killion just laughed it off.

"What's the big deal?" I asked, "You're all guys anyway. Plus you were still wearing your underwear right? That's like the same as wearing trunks at a pool. So it's not like you were undressed at all."

"Wow, I love your sense of logic, Sam." Ben laughed.

"Yeah, but I have to ask... Jonah, aren't you the captain of the football team? How would you change in the boys locker?" Harvey wondered.

"He wasn't always like this." Ben said.

"Captain gets the stall." Jonah said.

"Seriously?" Harvey looked genuinely surprised.

"I'm very modest." Jonah said.

"Since when?" I challenged the gamma who used to think flashing his new underwear to the class was funny."

"Since today." Jonah answered.

"Even so, how are you going to shift with the other warriors? There are no stalls in the woods." Harvey pointed out.

"It'll be fine after I shift." Jonah explained, "I'm just protecting my purity now."

At this, all the guys burst into laughter. Killion laughed till he had tears in his eyes, "Oh pop. When did a teenage guy have purity?"

Jonah growled and looked determined, "Laugh all you want, but my wolf is going to be huge."

Ben said to Harvey, "This is your fault for telling him those grandmother stories just now."

Killion had just recovered from laughing, "Wearing double underwear would surely help protect your purity."

And then he was laughing again.

"Nix is going to be so pissed when he finds out." Harvey warned.

But of course that only pleased Ben and Jonah more.

"Yeah. Good!" Jonah said.

Ben just looked pleased... It's hard to tell through his generally stoic expression, but trust me, he was very pleased.

"Wait till the both of you shift." Ben promised, "It's going to get even better."

"Yeah? What are we going to make him do?" Jonah asked.

Ben smiled, "Make him drink and then call someone to confess his true feelings."

Harvey's mouth dropped open.

Killion's smile grew brighter, "Beta, you are very evil."

"Yeah, let's do that." Jonah agreed "We're going to be in so much trouble for this. But it's worth it."

I was surrounded by idiots, yes, but in comparison, that made the pink unicorn I was carrying home in my arms perfectly respectable.

I took some time off writing last month. Hopefully, you hadn't even noticed thanks to webnovel's timed release function. But anyway, I'm back at it again!

I'm very excited about showing you the new developments in the upcoming Vol 5, but it's taking time to type out. Grrr... I'm actually typing in queues and on public transport just to get it all out, one chapter at a time. So the next time you see a crazy person tapity tapping on her phone... yeah. She could have a good reason for it - like a webnovel on her hands. Lol.
