Shea looks it over again and asks a few questions about how it will function, more importantly how it would prevent her from talking about the information. after a back and forth of the inner workings of the contract she asks about the wine aging. which honestly was just the start of a company I wanted to make, there is a lot to be done with alcohol such as vodka should be possible with the Lala potatoes. but after explaining that we would buy in bulk the cheaper wine then age it 50 years or more as an example then sell it at a much higher price it was just free money. that is assuming we find a buyer for it but just about everyone drank wine in the original story so I don't expect it to be different here. After she signs it burst into flames and we officially have a contract for me to assist with food growth and wine for a price of course. but both of those should acquire more than enough money in time to start the casino, so taking out the casino contract I pass it toward the end of the table and it floats up and toward her.

"The casino is much more challenging to set up but also a huge money maker." giving her time to read through it and then continuing. "The casino will take time to set up but after it begins operating I am confident in the novelty of it to bring people in. from there people will realize they like the games and the thought of winning it big will entice them to keep coming and playing. it will also serve as a proof of concept to bringing unknown business to the demon world."

"So you have other businesses you wish to start?" she sends the contract back to the table and looks over at me.

"Yes but first I would like to have a steady income before moving on to other plans."

"Alright well it will take some time to set up an area for you to grow the crops where it won't attract attention, so I would like to see you age some wine and see how that will exactly work. once I see the value of buying and reselling we can rediscuss the casino as I don't have the funds to waste on it should it fail." She tells Gauss to send someone to grab some bottles of wine. "You will be moving into a house that's in the outer court of the palace I will assign a servant to bring you things you will need and also to avoid trouble you will be employed officially which will explain the living arrangements and the multiple meetings we will have." a servant brings two bottles of wine and some cups and sets them Infront of me and I wait till she is gone before I focus and a light green magic circle appears below one. this is one of the ways I learned from buying magic circle knowledge to better utilize my time trait. the magic circle takes the demonic energy and what is over the circle will age based on the set interval which is currently 10 years. I pour my energy in and the circle begins to spin and makes two full rotations before it comes to a stop and dissipates. I feel as if I have been drained to near emptiness, but it was pretty good to go twenty years with just my higher demon demon power alone and a first attempt at using the magic circle with such a large interval. also, the wine itself felt as if it had no resistance to the aging process, unlike plants which have a subtle pull against aging.

"That is twenty years difference between them now if you would like to quality check." Gauss walks over and opens both and pours himself a cup of both and try's them nodding at the results. after Shea herself tries it she also nods and passes it back. after asking questions like how many can I age at once and how old can I go we agree I will need to test it to get the best result to try to sell.

"Gauss call for someone to lead Nova to his residence and help him get everything he is going to need to get settled in." looking back over me again "Nova, within the next few days we will have prepared a secret location for the food and we will send for you." after that she leaves and I take it as a pretty good first encounter, things could have gone worse.

Now at the residence, I am going to be staying I muse over the best type of circle to set up that will be the most user-friendly to interact with and also not need me to maintain it which is the most important point. simply stretching one circle the size of the field won't work unless I constantly supply it with my energy. it will take one big one and a bunch of smaller ones to maintain the big one and also to power the activation of the whole thing. should only take a few hours to set up and the whole thing will be safe because even if someone perfectly transcribed it and copied it, they wouldn't be able to do anything with it without me the time trait is unique to me and when I lay the circle it comes from me so even if someone tried to copy it, it would be pointless.

before going to sleep for the night I check my sin total and see I have made it to four hundred and thirty. I would like to Tier up again and then try and find some people to fight so I can start to get more accustomed to it. at demon king rank I should be able to handle most situations I run into at least versus low-tier gangs. hopefully, the next trait I get will be more damage-orientated like maybe Bael destruction or Sitri water magic.

Waking up and getting cleaned up, I head out to find some breakfast with the funds I was given. I walk through some stalls and find a few interesting foods and try them. after getting food I just walk through the town trying to find as much sin as possible. lots of people giving me odd looks for looking like a human I guess, need to get a disguise of some kind so I don't have to draw so much attention.

More than halfway probably could try to find a blacksmith and see if he has those ores with the crystals on them. I remember the crystals were a part of Glorfin Beelzebub somehow and probably have a good bit of sin in them. Asking some passersby I then head in the direction of a blacksmith.

* Bang Bang Bang *

approaching the smoking building I hear the sound of hammering and assume this is the place. walking inside there is a female Great Demon at the counter, approaching I ask her if they happen to have any ore that was delivered with crystals covering it, to which she heads in the back and I hear the hammering stop.

"What the hell do you want with some waste ore!" a gruff voice calls out as a burly Great Demon walks through as he approaches me covered in soot and still holding his hammer. wondering how to ask to clean his ore it dawns on me that if I can buy it for cheap enough I could always resell it to a different smith for a profit.

"I am looking to buy it and since it's pretty much useless to you I am paying to take away your trash." the smith snorts and nods.

"Your right about it being trash I ordered some ore and more than half of it was filled with those crystals and it's near impossible to get them out and make the ore useful."

"How much you want for it then?" he looks me over a few times then turns around motioning me to follow.

"It's out back, I don't have any use for it if you can give me ten purple coins you can have them as long as you haul it off yourself!" smiling at that I was willing to spend half my money on this test but he only wants ten coins so that leaves me around seventy-three coins left. Shea had given me the equivalent of one black crystal coin in purple coins. this leaves room to go buy some more and maybe sell it back for a good profit.

Out behind the smith, he points at a crate and I sense it for sin and it glows orange like a ball of fire. It's even brighter than Shea's purple I saw in the palace.

"Alright, here you go ten purple coins." I hand over the coins and he turns and heads back into the shop. walking over to the crate I put a hand on it and try to open my inventory, but it then disappears. thinking about the crate again and it reappears Infront of me, sending it back into the inventory I short distance warp into the alley across from the store so that the smith can't ask me where the crate went.

Pulling the crate back out after checking my surroundings for anyone watching I begin absorbing the sin from the ore.

With that, I am a little over three-quarters of the way to my next tier up. looking at the top of the crate I can see the ore is clean and no dust was left so no magic fertilizer. that's a bit disappointing but not unexpected. taking the crate back into the inventory I exit the alley and head down the street looking for more smiths to try and repeat the process.

After spending thirty-two purple crystal coins and gaining another batch of ores, this one was a pile on the ground so I told the smith I would be back later with some help to move it. then when I walked out of the store out of sight I short distance warped back and absorbed the sin and pocketed the ore. probably could have just robbed him but maybe next time.

After this Tier up, I am thinking of getting the garden, I am curious how it will work and I need to see if I can grab the devil fruit in the black rain forest that Dodo the slime is guarding. I wonder what would happen if I eat a devil fruit? I also want to get the Temple of sin, with a name like that it's not clear what it's for but I'm certain it's useful.
