Kia ended up still wanting to reincarnate after helping her mom and her get free without it. originally I thought I would need to kill them to make it disappear if I couldn't worthless it completely. then I would reincarnate them, but now it's not necessary, she still wanted to and I had no problem with it. I gave her mom a rook since I don't know how many queens I will have and she said she didn't want to fight unless necessary. doesn't mean she can get out of training, she wilted when I told her she would have to at least make it to overlord on her own if she wanted to pay me back after she kept pestering me about it. shouldn't be a problem though, I made sure they both had eaten a devil fruit before and after and also black potions before and after and Freya made it from no power at all to devil king. if someone saw her progress they would likely just kill themselves for working all their lives to make it that far. Freya needs a lot of training though, she's got the power to defend herself but doesn't know how to use it.

And that's why we are out in the backyard, I am currently letting her get the feel for defending herself by fighting her. it reminds me of when Paglio used to teach me, but I am obviously not dragging her face through the dirt. she doesn't really have much natural skill for fighting but she has some drive after Kia told her she would feel more at ease if she could at least stop most thugs from hurting her. she will have a way to escape and also Phenex tears for injury's but I still agree with Kia that she should be able to break the legs of the over-enthusiastic demons that are out and about bothering women.

She also said she wants to work with her daughter and that includes watching out for little Alice. soon I will be able to start buying recipes and materials, then I will gear out everyone with some self-defense items that kick the teeth out of anything available in the demon world. the items in this world have very game-like enchanting mechanics and abilities and the ones I can make just break the meta.

I am looking forward to a cheap item set that has stupid effects, with the whole thing equipped it gives resistance to all forms of damage except light. then I can give them a bracelet that gives resistance to light and a perfect resistance set is made that also increases the power of the wearer by one small realm, an example would be going from mid-demon king to peak demon king. sad it stops working after great demon king though or I would honestly wear one.

Eventually when I get a few more projects complete I plan to train my own force and fully kit them out and give them all at least one set of black potions and devil fruits to have an elite force at my disposal. will not only be useful for my business's defense but when things hit the fan later on with Abyss.

"Nova?" I tune back into reality as I notice Freya standing Infront of me.

"Yes?"

"I am done catching my breath if you want to continue."

"Ok, let's go for a little while more then head back inside."

"So what your telling me is this whole time I have been starving at this damn lake is because you were off galivanting with some females?" after telling Paglio everything I have been up to he seems more disappointed than I expected.

"Hey don't act as if I neglected you! I set up that teleporting pad for some of my devils to bring you good food and drink, and I heard you even snag one of them to keep you company for half a day! do you know how my delivery schedule was screwed for the next few days when someone just disappears without notice?" he scratches his cheek and looks away.

"It's not my fault you sent such a beautiful woman out here." I deadpan.

"She has been trying to come back ever since, what did you even do to her for such a reaction?" he stands up and brushes his clothes off, and turns to look into the reflection of the moon on the lake.

"I did everything a man should after being pent up for thousands of years." my ears perk up waiting. "...ok. it's more what she did to me but that's beside the point. why haven't you sent her back?!" turning to leave after this disappointment I shake my head as she yells after me. "Wait! I still need to tell you about some things I set up as traps to get into my treasury. you said you are going after Athena's birthday in a few days right?" I nod and he pulls his chair over, with a sigh I reach into the ground with Barbatos and craft a throne from metal.

"Alright lay it on me." he hold up his hand to stop me from continuing.

"Why did you make a chair made out of swords?" I smile as I sink into the world's most uncomfortable seat.

pacing around the room I brainstorm ideas for a gift for Athena, as far as things go that I can get I have given her quite a lot already. even so I want to give her a present regardless, I had Kia's help with some clothes that I thought she might like, but at the end of the day, Athena is a sword carrying warrior girl and likely won't care that much about them. so I take to the skies and fly around as I scan the lands with Barbatos, I want to find something that screams ' fantasy world metal ' there is an abundance of different forms of familiar metals like star iron and fire iron and all that. but I want to feel something and know that it is fantasy and special.

And there it is, after taking multiple breaks to recharge my demonic energy I have pulled a car-sized ore from the ground. it was so deep that it almost escaped my scan, and I can scan the entire city at the fallen angel capital. I felt some other metals I have ' categorized ' in my senses, it's like smelling or tasting. I can tell metals apart or at least have a close guess and this azure blue ore is something I haven't felt anywhere since getting Barbatos. putting my hand on it I find it to be a bit cold, trying to pick it up I end up using more strength than I expected since I am physically stronger than I am magically at this point. I set the coordinates to my workshop and teleport me and the ore back to get started.

As Shea blasts the ore with dark flames that carry a minuscule hint of this world's destruction property I twist and pull with Barbatos. soon a suitably sized chunk rips off the clump of ore and Shea's flames die out.

"That was a lot harder than I was expecting." Shea takes a seat as she drinks some water. it took almost a full hour of cooking it and pulling piece by piece to get enough for a sword off.

"Hey Shea, you wouldn't happen to be busy for the next few hours would you?" she sets down the water and groans.

"Nova, you said you needed some help with something real quick. this will not be real quick in the slightest." I look at the soon-to-be sword and see it's already cooling and will have to be reheated to be able to shape it and can't help but agree.

"I only need you to get it hot enough to where I can shove it into a mold and then close it shut, once that's done then I just let it cool and start working an edge on it and put a grip. simplicity itself really, plus you like getting hot and sweaty with me anyway." she stands back up and I levitate the piece as she encases it in dark flames.

"Yea yea whatever, it's not too bad working with you so far but don't let it get stuck in your head or anything. I do not want to have to do this again just to spend some time together, there are many more interesting things we can do to pass some time." dang she got me back with those innuendos.

"Your right, next time I will invite you to do something more fun." she smiles as we both watch the metal slowly heat up.

pushing the metal into a mold does not work and we can't get it got enough to liquefy, so I ended up just using my territory and Barbatos to shape it. getting an edge on it was even harder but I doubt she could dull it even if she used it for the next hundred years. I am almost convinced that it would take at least a fully kingdomized individual to damage this sword. it has a natural resistance to just about everything I have thrown at it and on top of that I added enchantments. from here the only way I can improve it would be to maybe add ancient runes but I don't know any of those yet, which means I need to visit Zola eventually. that can be put on the back burner for now I have a lot of things happening this week and Zola will take some time to befriend with her personality.

"It looks good, I would have liked to make it a bit thinner than this but I think Athena will prefer it this way." I hold it up by the handle admiring the light blue shine, it has a completely smooth surface other than some markings from the enchantments.

"It does look good, I am sure she will like it since it is alike all her past swords." she rolls her eyes and continues to pat the sweat on her chest with a towel, I put a finger on her arm and send a magic circle through her to clean her off after all work. looking down at her now clean body and clothes she raises both of her eyebrows. "when are you going to teach me that one?"

"Whenever I start teaching teleportation to you all individually I will teach you all the convenient stuff as well." I send the sword to my inventory as I stretch, I grab Shea's hand as I teleport us to outside her private room and yawn feeling pretty worn out from using so much demonic energy today. "I guess I will see you tomorrow or is it the next day now?" I peek out the window down the hall and realize we were up all night.

"Yea you kept me out all night and wore me out, you should be careful not to set a standard you can't keep up with in the future." she opens her door and walks in without even waiting for a response as the door closes behind her.

She has been getting more playful since I came back after Catherine, not like it bothers me it's just a weird switch. I wonder if she is wanting me to push more for it or continue to just flirt back and forth. whatever it is she wants I can decide what to do after I get some sleep, with a quick teleport I arrive beside my bed and throw my clothes off and quickly clean myself with magic before jumping on the bed.
