As the queen disappeared into her chest Shea reaches up with a hand and rubs the spot where it went in. she then jerks back and rapid blinks her eyes, standing up she holds a hand out and black flames explode out before she gets it under control easily. she then throws out her wings like Izzy's there are three pairs but unlike Izzy's hers are feathered and radiate both light element and dark element. she turns and I get a look and the wings come from the same spot as other devils but they look a lot like her old holy wings from her lucifer blood.

"If I had to guess your holy wings merged with your devil wings and seem to be enhanced, or they just got buffed since I last saw them since you gained a lot of power." I reach out and feel a wing that was close startling Shea but she doesn't pull away. " they feel the same as your old ones but under the feathers is a material closer to what my wings are made of instead of what used to be there." I let the wing go and she vanishes them back leaving a few feathers floating in the air before they dissipate into shadows on the floor.

And there it is, confirming the royal family's gain of a trait when they reincarnate. will Catherine gain Starsend Moment like the DxD Asmodeus or will it be the Phenex trait since the native Asmodeus are all black phoenixes? I look forward to finding out but now I need to tell Shea she gained a devil trait or well THE devil's trait.

"Congrats, you unlocked the demonic brilliance of evil light. That's a mouth full, so let's just call it evil light from now on. but you should try to summon it, imagine a spear or something made from a black light and see if you can figure it out." she quickly focuses after her momentary surprise of hearing she gained a new power.

After a few minutes, a small black pen radiating power and blinding to look at appears. Shea opens her eyes feeling the object appear Infront of her, it doesn't radiate heat but after I touched it I was briefly left with a burn mark. Shea giggles seeing me yank my hand away from the offending burn stick I can't help but laugh a bit too.

"I think I got the hang of it, you said just imagine what I want and with practice, it should work right?" I confirm and she focuses on her power before it turns into an arrow then a spoon and so on as she changes shape and size and even summons multiple objects of evil light. "yea I think I got it, lets head out to my private yard and try it out." she jumps up and in her excitement forgot I could just teleport us so I have to quickly catch up and grab hold of her. quickly teleporting us, she nods and looks a bit embarrassed for forgetting and then hurries out to the field, conjures some evil light arrows, and pelts the wall. we both go slack jaw seeing the small in size arrows leave watermelon-sized holes in the anti-magic wall. looking back and forth between the wall and Shea I shiver thinking about our future training, worthless is going to be the MVP for sure.

"Hey, until you got a better handle on that don't point it at anything you don't want dead." she dumbly nods still staring at the destroyed wall before summoning a pebble-sized orb of evil light. slowly she turns toward me and her lips curve up and eyebrows raise and I throw up a wall of worthless before a fight breaks out.

Four days is all the time I have left and it will take another day and a half till we arrive in town Leia. the mayor has confirmed the fruit is still safe and I will begin nirvana as soon as we arrive. looking over at my traveling companion she has her veil on but I can still see the sadness easily from her visible glowing blue eyes. poor girl, but that's just the norm if you aren't strong. if she was stronger she wouldn't be oppressed like she is but still, while she accompanies me I will be nice to her. after all with her traveling with me I shouldn't have to worry about a random attack once we make it to town Leia since Broc wouldn't randomly kill his sister she is too valuable to him.

"Lady Delia, are you alright? is there anything I can do for you to make the trip more pleasant?" she shifts in her seat so she can turn and face me.

"Thank you for asking Lady Christina but I am fine, I am just lost in thought." well I tried, but she just won't let herself come out after she has shut herself off from everyone.

I need to ready myself for the ritual anyway so it's fine if she wants to be a loner. after this is over I need to prepare to get rid of Broc, these men tailing us belong to him but since his sister is inside they haven't made a move. he keeps testing my patience and is even willing to cause trouble when I send out someone to do something for me, but little does he know it's me and I will be using this against him. his grip on his troops is strong but if I get rid of him in a way Franz can't complain then I will be back in full control if I knew he would cause this much trouble I would have never allowed him to marry Mandy. in the future, I will just have to restructure the military so this can't happen again, even if he can't do that much damage with what he has it's still damaging regardless and Raizen is watching. he's been too quiet as of late something is going on with him and we can't afford to show any weakness.

Fallen angel is acting as a good buffer since he would have to get rid of them on the way to shadow empire but still can't let our guard down or another tragedy will repeat itself. thinking back to the fields of dead and the grieving survivors I can't help but feel melancholy about the bitter past before I fully took over. I promised to prevent it as much as I could but I won't miss the opportunity to unite the demon world so no one ever has to suffer another war among our kind again.

Preparing supplies to clean Lady Sabrina's room I make sure to avoid anyone along the way. after arriving back at the estate Sabrina has been in an extra bad mood since her husband Azgalor has been favoring Izola. I should have everything done perfectly so that she doesn't find anything to fault and remember my presence. I guess it feels good for her to torment the ex-mistress since she can't touch the current one.

I hope my daughter Kia is doing well, I haven't seen her in a long time but her situation should be better. she may be working for an ' enemy ' family but I am sure they are treating her better than she was treated here. with her devourer physique, she can't be useful with men since they would die from it unless there immune to its effects somehow, so she shouldn't be put in any sex work.

Oh where did it all go wrong, Azgalor was so nice back when we first meet and he hired me as his maid. after he treated me well for so long then I gave birth to a daughter the sudden shift from kindness to total indifference was jarring. if anything Kia's devourer physique made it worse for him since it was an insult to his family's ability to present itself in a succubus. even if he didn't mean it to be nice I am still happy he sent our daughter to live in the dark moon to find the god-eating mask.

"Freya." a shiver runs down my back as I scrub the floor clean in Lady Sabrina's bathroom when I hear her call out for me in her bedroom. I stand up making sure not to make a mess or slip on the wet floor and step out of the bathroom and bow.

"Lady Sabrina, I was just cleaning your bathroom." she walks up to me and checks behind me before humming and walking over to her bed and jumping into it.

"Good, when you finish that go prepare some food I am still hungry after eating with my ' husband ' I still can't believe Azgalor sent me here to pretend to be this man's wife when Izola could have done it herself. does he have no respect for me his main wife?! I swear I will kill that bitch when I get the chance, she is slowly wiggling power over the affairs in the crystal valley from my hands every time I am forced to come to this damn estate!" I stay bowed as she vents and wait for the signal to continue my work, if I so much as move wrong she will likely break my hands again or maybe my nose, it has been a while since she messed up my face. "are you listing to me Freya?" quickly I nod and she just snorts and waves and I quickly head back into the bathroom to finish my work.

Holding a hand over my heart I feel it beating too fast for its own good and can't help but let out a low sigh as I beg the demon god to spare me from this fate any longer. if only I could get out of here and just live peacefully with my daughter, oh what a wonderful life that would be.

"So, since both of you are pretty equal in strength currently it would be best for you two to practice a bit to get used to your new power. Izzy it would be best to not use crack on Shea's body but also it shouldn't kill her outright since as I said equal power so she can resist it, but try your best to just aim for her evil light and other attacks. Shea, please don't burn a hole through Izzy I just reincarnated her and I can't afford to find another badass spymaster." the two in question are just staring off as if seeing their most hated enemy, they apparently have a history but now we all are pretty much family from the evil pieces so they need to nip it in the bud and work out there differences. with Izzy leaving in a few days they can start to work it all out by practicing here in the black rainforest and they don't have to worry about anyone seeing them practice.

"Do you think they are going to be fine?" Athena standing beside me asks as we can see sparks flying as the two peak demon emperors square off.

"Yea they should be fine, they know not to go for kill shots and neither are actually angry at the other... hopefully." I have to rethink this as Shea launches a cannonball-sized evil light right at Isabella's midsection seemingly cutting her in half only for Isabella to appear behind Shea with daggers in hand and wind blades forming around her.

"Yea they look like they won't kill each other at all." Athena nods enthusiastically with a sarcastic tone. I reach over and scoop her up over my shoulder. "Wahhh!"

"Come on let's get out of the way and practice some aerial combat." I fly us up into the sky before letting Athena go and she pulls out her massive sword she got as a replacement yesterday, its made of some of the richer ore from the mine called dark star iron and I even threw some enchantments I have been learning, they are different from dragon script and also ancient langue there like a knock-off magic langue but it's still effective for something like the sword.

As we are fighting and I am practicing some new ways to use my territory during a fight I suddenly get a summons from a pawn I planted in town Leia. holding a hand up Athena stops trying to bisect me and tilts her head.

"Something wrong?" she puts her sword up and floats over to me as I wave her to follow.

We land in the destroyed part of the forest where Izzy and Shea have all but leveled the ground and are currently leaning up against some destroyed stumps. they look worse for the wear Shea more so with most of her clothes seeming to have suffered from crack and have been shredded. I feel a chilling glare and look up to the eyes of the body I am checking out and see they are locked onto me. I wiggle my brows and ignore her huff as Athena and I approach them.

"I need to go check out town Leia, I may be gone for a few days but you can always contact me if it's an emergency you know what to do." Shea speaks up first before either of the others can.

"What's going on in town Leia?" both the others listen in probably going to have asked the same.

"It's the mayor's birthday and that's also when the guest from the capital was supposed to arrive and I want to try to meet up with them." Shea and Athena nod and Izzy taps her chin with a finger before tilting her head.

"Why do you want to meet someone from the dark shadow empire capital?" I haven't told any of them that I am planning to reincarnate the empress of a foreign empire but I will just keep that card close to the vest until I succeed since I would just look dumb saying it before any results.

"I am going to hunt down a birdy and I think the guest visiting town Leia will be Asmodeus so I want to get in contact." she accepts that and they both stand up and head closer so I can teleport them all back.

We appear inside the basement and I step aside to teleport just myself to town Leia but Izzy quickly grabs my sleeve.

"Hey, I wanted to ask if you could reincarnate more people like you did me. you said you were looking for an Asmodeus so I would assume that's the case but I wanted to clarify." I nod confirming I can wondering what she is up to. "well you see in the capital I have a friend and I was wondering if you could reincarnate her if she also wanted to. she is a demon overlord and is probably the only person in the capital that I like and can trust, she is a dragon so worst case I can bribe her with some of my savings but she is mainly on the lookout for a dragon who killed her boyfriend and was using the capitals connections to find him. but she would most likely join if you talked to her about it and I was able to help you convince her."

"Sure when you get back and have her in a private place like your home give me a summons and we can ask her. I will need her to sign a contract to not talk about what we discuss just in case she doesn't want to join but it sounds like a good deal for me." this is for sure Krobelus the emerald dragon, she is a master at wind and poison if I remember right and with a queen piece she should get to mid-tier to maybe even peak with black potions if I can I will wait till I can afford to buy a mutant piece for her so she can get as much out of it as possible. the only problem will be the issue that she thinks Paglio killed her lover even though he technically is her ex-lover, he eventually falls for her but he started a relationship with her when she was young and easy to rob. I will talk to him about it before I approach her.
