"What?" I ask looking at the two pregnant devils I just scanned with my demonic energy.

I also made sure to scan Athena so she doesn't drop a bomb on me and didn't see anything. But two growing demonic signatures inside the women Infront of me makes my mind buzz. How could I have missed this, Freya actually seems to be a bit further along by the strength of the little devil.

My little devil.

A shiver runs down my back and I feel my breath hitch, this is for real. I did that and I am going to be a dad in the demon world. For some reason it just made things feel subtly different all around me.

One moment I am about to check up on the human/devils in the human world to check the progress of the scouting and now I am going to be a dad. I feel like I just stubbed my toe but in a good way, ultimately it doesn't change much but it definitely is messing with me.

Operation 'safe place' which is finishing the repairs on Olympus and teleporting it to the moon just became a priority. Worst case scenario we hide on the moon out of sight out of mind and find some other world through experimenting. I will need to keep at least one page of destruction and secure the book of creation so Abyss can't nuke the realm with a restart button.

There are already four confirmed worlds in the canon of the world and I doubt there is not more waiting to be found. I will just hightail it out of here with my kids if it hits the fan, priorities.

The awkward silence that settled is becoming harder to break so I shake my head and then give a wide smile.

"This is great news, I didn't expect this to happen for quite a while, and then there are two. I am beyond happy and we should begin to have Olympus scan you two daily to track things and make sure everything is fine. There are quite a lot of problems that can occur and I have like ten-plus bloodline talents and traits so I am a bit concerned about how that will work out. But I am very excited and I seem to have skipped over asking how you feel about this?" I shut my mouth seeing I was talking too much and await their answer.

Athena wiggles her feet for me to continue her massage and I roll my eyes before gripping her feet once more.

"Well there went my concern, give me back hours of panicking Nova!" Kia bitterly glares at me while crossing her arms and I raise my eyebrows in confusion.

"I told you he would be happy and you were overthinking." Athena comments as she curls her toes and her thighs clench.

"I also told her she was thinking too much, most men are happy to pass down their blood and it is rare for them to think negatively of it." Freya nods at Athena's words and I debate showing them thousands of going-to-get-milk memes.

Bad idea as it might make Kia worry more and stress cant be good for a little one.

"Well I am just happy he didn't react negatively, I was worried for real. I didn't want you to be mad at me." She is probably thinking this way because of her dad and how he treated her.

Because she was born a succubus and not a Beelzebub he treated her like air and ignored her, allowing others to bully his child. A disgusting man who deserved a hundred deaths, I can't believe a society where children are a rarity and protected heavily had such a circumstance.

"Let's head to Olympus and run some tests, need to see what's going on in there." I get three nods and Athena pulls her feet back as I open a teleport circle beneath us.

Giving gremlins human technology or at least the idea of what it was and did was a blessing. They have recreated tons of different technological advances and are pushing the frontier even further. Magic alone could scan their body and tell me about the baby in their womb but this can keep logs and track growth and much more.

Admittedly magic could also but this gives some credit to the team working hard on the science in Olympus. It also doesn't need the magic user who would be me to be there, they can come to get checked on their own.

"So every day you will come and let the Lamp spirits run these machines and check your blood and stuff, might seem like a lot but could end up saving yours or the kid's life. This is uncharted territory and we need to document this stuff for future cases." I can feel wisps of different traits in the children like when I activate Agares or Bael and it fizzles out quickly.

I have no idea if they are activating them or growing them or maybe even playing Gacha to get cool loot. But I will find out and make sure no problems will happen with my little babies, never been a dad but I am looking forward to it. Depending on if it follows the canon the Abyss should be here in a few years or later if I can destroy the altars and kill the avatars.

I might even delay it long enough that my kids can get involved and blow some Abyss scum to hell.

"You sound like Zola, she always wants to tweak something and now you are treating our baby as an experiment." I gasp dramatically and hold my chest.

"How could you say that, I have actual concerns, and it's not me emulating Zola because she is a genius." I sensed the Fairy dragon herself is nearby and obviously taking interest in what was going on in the room.

Her presence momentarily fluctuating when I called her a genius cracks a massive grin on my face.

"Well if that's all Nova, I want to go back and rest since I am tired." Freya walks over and gives me a quick kiss before teleporting herself to her room.

"I am going to hit the gym, I want to stretch a bit after that massage I feel fired up." Athena winks as she leaves the room and I wonder if that was an invitation.

"Nova, you will come to the tests to check on the baby won't you?" Kia pouts and looks up at me 'helplessly' but I feel she is just trying to cock block me instead of being actually worried anymore.

"When I can, I need to do something before Abyss gains too much ground. But I will check the results every day at least." She nods and heads off after a hug and I teleport myself to Catherine.

Got to let her know she is losing the race to the first baby and she needs to pump up her numbers if she doesn't want to be left behind. Business can wait until after I see her reaction.

"You told me that just so you could carry me off to bed and interrupt an important meeting, didn't you?" She lays naked on her stomach and looks over at me with half her face covered with a pillow.

"Yes." I nod and rub my hand up her bare back, who wouldn't go for gold when they see it?

I wonder if I could goad Shea into a few rounds as well...

"Your insufferable." She huffs and looks away, exposing her back to me so I pull her into me and cuddle her.

"But you suffer me all the same." She shivers as I talk into her ear softly and my hands slide around.

"I guess that is part of marriage." She turns and kisses my lips as her own hands start to search.

"Nova, why are you even telling me this?" Shea tilts her head and rubs her temple.

"To slip you out of that dress." She deadpans and shakes her head.

"I am busy right now... maybe tonight though." Hell yea!

"Alright, let's put a pin in it then." I drop into a chair Infront of her and pull some of the papers off her desk. "Need any help?" These are reports that have run through Friday in Olympus and have been shortened to the necessary info.

It cut her work time from twentyish hours to like four, magic AI for the win!

"You could just spend time with me if you want, I can handle this much after all the work you do I need something for myself. But I appreciate your willingness to continue to support me." She smiles as she reads over a paper and I set the ones I had back down as I admire her appearance. "You could tell me about your next steps in preparation for the Abyss." I drum my fingers on her desk and nod my head.

"I am going to rob the most secure stronghold of the strongest 'people' in the human world, ripping them off good. I will then work on the dead sea in the demon world or the dragon island in the human world. Whichever I do first I will do the other second and meanwhile, I have Paglio heading to dragon island in the demon world. Olypheus is the princess of dragon island and I need to talk to her dad when he gets time to come over." Her eyes slowly widen but she doesn't comment as I go on, she is getting numb to my 'future plans' as they get more ridiculous.

"What about that woman in a case you told me about?" I scrunch my nose hearing about 'python' and think even harder.

Her help robbing light temple would be good if things go bad, but it's a huge risk, and I would like to have all seven artifacts when I next meet her. But if five is not enough to convince her then seven wouldn't mean much anyway.

Less than seven might even be better because she would expect me to be the guy she loves if I have all seven on and active.

"Work in progress, might risk it all and go see her soon but with babies on the way dying just went off the table even more." She looks up and I shrug, dying to save the world was a 'maybe' if it ever came up.

I mean I reincarnated into a world once so if I do something cool here who is to say I won't end up in some other world I read about?

Maybe long live summons or some other story I vaguely remember.

Either way, I will give it my hundred and one percent now that the kiddos are in the picture, I can't be a deadbeat and absentee dad. Would give all the Morningstar's a bad name if I did.
